Meters cause DPS to stand in fire, ignore CC/interrupts, and have general tunnel vision as they stare at their numbers and spam a rotation. Meters change play style.

A lightsaber should be able to one shot a nonforce user. To solve balance issues, they can make the class as super rare as they initially were in SWG. Except that would defeat the whole point of this game where every player is supposed to be a hero. Feels like there are more trolls than anything else some days though...

This. Meters make PUGS unbearable. It's not about epeen or attitudes it's about changing the focus of combat to the wrong thing. The coming combat log is enough for those who actually need the data, and there are precious few of those.

None. An MMO is all about having fun with Internet friends.
