Anyone who thinks tank assassins aren't going to be nerfed is setting themselves up for a massive disappointment. They were one of the best classes pre 1.2 and with most others being nerfed they will be even better. God knows why they were spared but I'm willing to put money they will be next.

This is one of the recognised stages of a solid nerfing.

Sorcs have (had?) a lot of potential, well done for utilising it. Most of the "I RATE MY PVP SKILLS AS 9.5/10" people on here don't know their arse from their elbow.

I don't think there's many scoundrels/ops who didn't see the hypocrisy in that particular dev statement.

I was hanging around until 1.2 to see what they did with class (tried a few others to pass the time). Oh look another nerf. GOODBYE. Removing the laugh was the final insult-to-injury that did it, that was just spiteful. It shows their general attitude towards the class though and thats not going to change. I agree with the earlier guy who said we've been playing a beta all along.

With the exception of ambush, all of those are being nerfed. So... y'know... Don't mind me though, I came for the crying.

I was expecting them to be reworked. Moving away from the annoying, badly designed, stun opener mechanic and compensating elsewhere. I guess BW just don't have the flair. I'd like to know the reasoning behind the new set of nerfs. I stopped worrying about Ops a long time ago, decent ones are so rare, and even they only exist to gank existing 1v1's. I'd have to agree they seem to just want to kill them off. Lazyness and unimaginative. Sad inditement of the game's future.

Perhaps, but with equal gear they can only do better can't they? All else will remain the same. In any case, it's going to happen so arguing about it is pretty pointless. As is the OP & co creating a new thread to cry about it every day.

More likely the people who thought they were awesome will come on and cry about how they don't have an advantage anymore. I mean, its already happening. General customer service and communication as a whole is poor, don't expect any different on this topic.

Flawed. NPC's don't leave the game because they are being killed too easily and can't even hurt their opponents, while new subscribers do.

The guy is a forum in-joke, people even have sigs about him. He's a classic 'everything but my class is OP'. Better not to dignify him with responses.

I was going to post something along these lines but this guy beat me to it. RL sports are a good comparative but does not work in your favour. No one gains an advantage for the amount of time they happen to have put in. They rely on their skills to pay the bills. In fact if you a serious athlete as you propose you should know that some people are naturally better despite putting less work in.
