Yeah that doesn't happen. I remember people exaggerated about Ops burst before the nerf.

Exactly why I haven't logged on mine for about 2 months. Now I just let them have their 1.5 sec open, pop whatever CD/stims I have available and wreck them. Can't remember the last time one beat me 1v1 with me starting with a decent amount of HP.

They are only OP in the right hands. Luckily most people that use them appear to be chumps. I assume all the bad players heard they were OP and rolled them. This game just needs less cc in general. Unfortunately sorcs are the masters of it, which is further compounded by the fact everyone and their cat plays as one. Constant WZ's of 5 sorcs bouncing around, stunning, KB'ing, rooting and constantly snaring are just a terrible inditement of this game.

What about the age old tradition of a loveable nickname for the enemy? And an expression for the colourful way they meet their end. "A lipstick bandit got the jump on us, so we gave him a midiclorin count" Or something. (Get it...? lipstick/red lightsabers...)

I am also a fan of the last defence, throw yourself into the fire and pull the carrier with you tactic.

The sorcs are like locust on my server too. Of course I wouldn't expect them to admit it. No one likes accepting they play the fotm class (or is it fotGAME).

Sorcs/merc: Nerf everything else. I guess since ^ plays both classes he has a lot of QQ'ing to cover. Some good commandos I know say assault is quite viable. I suppose thats something for you to aspire to.

Oh dear. Unfortunately BW have made it quite clear they don't give a flying **** about that class, or its mirror, so don't expect a fix anytime this century.

And as long as people like you play there will be flaws in any system. If you don't enjoy it why do you even play. It blows my mind.

You can only get valour from 4 medals. The rest comes from getting a win. = Better players get more valour. Problem? Oooooooh now you can't medal farm and have to try and actually achieve the team objective.

If you only need 3 for your next item, now you only need to save 360. How is more choice a bad thing. If you buy something in real life, is it cheaper to buy individually or in bulk? People will complain about anything.

Nerf everything but OPs class you mean.

There are like 3 threads crying about this already. Gear crutches in PvP are stupid, everyone should be relatively equal. Catering to a small elitist (ELITIST NOT ELITE) group of people with massive amounts of time on their hands, who want to stomp so called 'casuals' with no skill required (because for some reason putting so much time should entitle them to) will NOT make a sustainable MMO. The people that play casually, i.e. have a life outside of MMOs, are what make up the subscriptions and keep the game profitable. Making 'hardcore' players gods of pvp will just drive everyone else away.

Exactly. But people who think they are special like the OP want a gear advantage over 'casuals' so they can roll them easily and continue their illusion they are more skilled. When really they just don't like being outplayed by someone who puts half as much time in. And GW2 will be the one MMO to rule them all no matter how much denial you are in.

Well, this has helped me decide which of my ranged alts to stick with.
