  1. You know, you're totally right! Come to think of it, some people can probably afford to spend $100 on black dye. Maybe the price should be increased. I mean, someone can probably afford it, so I guess that means it'll be peachy keen for the rest of us too, right? Back on topic, I played off and on during the weekend and not once did I see them in the Cartel Market. It's just one fiasco after another with this game *sigh* ....
  2. People want it because bioware flaunted black robes in their promotional videos that weren't ever obtainable in-game (i.e. http://swtorhumanrelations.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/sith-marauder1.jpg). Now we have to pay $20.00 for something that's been waved in our faces before the game was even released.*sigh* I really don't know why I keep supporting this money-grubbing opportunist degenerate excuse for a company.
  3. So if the dyes were worth 8 million creds in the GTN, what then? Would you throw $80 at Bioware for a single-use dye? I don't think so. Maybe you need a reality check to really comprehend the value of $20. Your logic is flawed, chump. Go ahead and continue spewing your dreck all over this thread, you're not convincing anyone.
  4. Yet another monument to Bioware's insufferable greed. How do they sleep at night?
  5. Lol... Either you're trolling or you need to get your eyes checked. How does this... http://i.imgur.com/cDw44.jpg Look anything like this? http://www.rarityguide.com/articles/content_images/1/swtor/swtorjediknight.jpg
  6. You're mistaken, friend. It does not exist. Please show a screenshot of the exact armor set in the character creation screen in game (hint: you won't find one because it does not exist). I think you're probably seeing this on guardians: http://tor-fashion.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/MGuardiansExaltedClose.png It's NOT the same. No hood on the back, no shoulder pads, and most importantly not adaptive like the other armor sets of every other character creation armor that has been added to the cartel shop. Nobody here wants a cheap imitation...we want the real thing, baby.
  7. No, it's not in game. This is the only character creation set not available from the Cartel Market. The Valiant Jedi set is NOT a substitute for it. Sith warriors got eradicator set AND their character creation armor in the Cartel shop. As Euphrosyne pointed out, it currently does not exist in game in the form shown in the screenshot.
  8. http://www.rarityguide.com/articles/content_images/1/swtor/swtorjediknight.jpg Every other class has received their armor set from character creation via the Cartel Market - except for Jedi Knights. I'm tired of having to wear a stupid headband to remove my hood which apparently makes my character bald (uhm, where'd my beautiful hair go?). Oh and I guess developing a hood toggle is as hard as rocket science so I won't count on that happening any time soon (if ever). Anyway, us Jedi Knights have been waiting patiently for this set...hope to see it in the next Cartel Pack!
  9. Gonna throw my hat into this as well - I'd love to see these sets resurrected in the form of empty orange shells.
  10. I don't see how the fact that names are unique would prevent a character renaming service. I understand that new names would affect friends lists and such, but this issue could be circumvented by limiting name changes to once a month. Many other MMOs have this basic feature and it will come to SWTOR eventually (albeit for cartel coins most likely). Hell, it was even advertised on the site some time ago before it was promptly removed
  11. Since we're on the topic of changing our characters, are there any updates regarding the "one Character, Guild, or Legacy name change per month" that was advertised on the site some time ago? It seems like a name change service would go in perfect tandem with the ability to change our character's appearance.
  12. I like the way this guy thinks.
  13. At the very least allow us a one-time opportunity to change our display names.
  14. Another pilot suit? really? I don't think there was a single post in this thread from someone asking for another stupid pilot suit. This thread is a joke.
  15. hey all, I hate how fugly dark side corruption makes your character and was wondering what the repercussions would be of staying at dark side rank 1, where the only change to your character's face is the orange eyes. What kinds of things at level 50 require dark side rank V? Will I gimp my character if I stay at around dark side rank 1? thanks
  16. I strongly encourage all of you to voice your opinions in this thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=5641095 Bioware has ignored us marauders for far too long and it's about time our disturbing lack of hood-up robe options was addressed.
  17. I completely agree with the OP. It seems like the developers have given up on the game and are willing to throw it under the bus just to milk a bit of extra cash from its subscribers. There have been so many broken promises that have yet to be fulfilled, and it seems all of their attention has shifted to the cartel shop. I mean really, $20 for a reskinned armor set? Are they out of their minds? And not only that, they have pages and pages of great suggestions for what fans want to see in the cartel shop, but so far not of it has even made it into the shop. Just another example of bioware pretending to listen to its fans with they actually don't give a crap. Bioware needs to break the silence and start listening to its fanbase, otherwise they will run this game into the ground.
  18. Hopefully a plain black robe for my marauder.
