  1. Come on this is coming from the development team that makes you run the exact same FP not twice, but three times over the course of the entire game, and can't even develop unique endgame FPs.. and 1 out of 10 does not count sorry. Its absolutely lazy to make people run the same FPs over, and over and over and over...and over. Don't expect anything more from them. They might come out with a Gree Heroic event with harder mobs!
  2. Bump Come on Bioware this is a good post and people are now concerned you don't really give a care about your player base and whenever a thoughtful constructive post is up... No response. Where is all the good faith gestures now a day? All you have to do to prove everyone wrong is acknowledge when a mistake is made, even 1 and fix it. I'm not demanding or even saying this out of anger, just an opinion on how to solve an incredibly easy issue. I believe the main reason people continue so whine and complain and rage about problems in this game is because we always go ignored.. Not just the rage posts but the constructive kinds, that if done would save all credibility you have. Yet continual silence.. Of course unless it is an issue about someone raging about being stuck.. Or another miniscule technical issue, that gets dev replies instantly apparently.
  3. Hey bud that was a really good post. You made a lot of great points and ideas and I probably agree with most of it. I don't think this came across as a rage thread or a whine thread and hopefully more people actually read the whole thing and take something away from this. I don't think anything you said that bioware should do would really hurt anyone playing the game right now. I really think subscribers are getting the shaft on a lot of new content and all these people defending bioware are telling them it's ok to be charged a monthly fee, and then have to pay more money to fully enjoy the game to their liking . Why should I have to pay for a new race because they brought it out after the game came out? The op made a really great point that they could potentially do this with anything in the future, where will the line be drawn? I would have had no problem paying had it released with makeb, maybe then it would have felt like a real expansion. Anyway again good post I really hope people at bioware (someone besides andryah) are reading these types of posts (not the whine posts but the real constructive criticism posts) and at least takes some things in to consideration.. Because for the most part people like the op, and and myself really want this game to be great for everyone and to be treated fairly in the process. All of the fan boys and people who can't read someone's opinion without feeling the need to demoralize that persons ideals really are hurting this game and the community.
  4. In regards to Eric, I appreciate the great explanation as to the plans with the the CM and Subs. However the point is no one paying 15 dollars a month should ever have to pay for basic cosmetic changes. I can kind of see putting a new race on the CM, However even that is a bit of a stretch for a monthly subscriber and quite frankly it should have been included in the expansion which now seems like an expensive patch. I believe Bioware/EA are extremely nickle and diming its dedicated paying fan base. We are the people who continue to stick through this game even when things get rocky, it didn't have nearly the amount of features it has now, and yet here we are still paying 15 dollars a month. I thought the point of the Cartel Market was to give people who chose not to support the game a chance to play and pay for the services they are missing.. It gets very frustrating to continually see subscribers, being told our money every month just isn't good enough. This game is no where near perfect and yet I've had to spend more money on a monthly basis then any other mmo out to date just to get features, or hell even items not available in game. Which btw is appalling in itself, my 15 dollars a month should be spent allowing those items to be obtained in game. This whole month CC allowance just doesn't cut it. Why should I have to wait a whole month to get 1 new thing? Anyway that's my two cents. And on a serious note, anyone jumping to the defense of Bioware give it a rest, I really could care less what you have to say about my post. This is a concerned reply to Bioware. And I sincerely hope that more and more of the dedicated fan base continues to step forward voicing frustration at the direction of the game. When you lay there and take it or accept whats being given you become just as much of the problem.
  5. Dude, that's the point.. All the fan boys really come out in stride whenever someone makes a decent post about real changes that need to be made to the game. However seeing how you missed the point here it is. This is a SW game, with BARELY any Star Wars music in it. And yes I'm talking about original scores. SWG might not have had any original scores but when I was in SWG I felt like I was in the Star Wars universe. Clearly we are dealing with people who could care less that this is an actual SW IP. And the whole reason TOR went F2P instead of being a successful MMO is that they couldn't keep people who were not mindless fan boys of Bioware or Wow, which is exactly what this game is a clone of, except falling short of anything good Wow actually has. Had this game actually taken the good from SWG and made this a Star Wars MMO it would be incredibly successful. The music in this game is terrible, you can barely hear any heroic SW music when you are trying to achieve anything. To the next 20 fan boys who will post after me, suck it, as long as it has people like you playing this game, giving no real feedback to the game to make it successful, it never will be.
  6. Are you guys kidding me? "Don't blame Bioware or EA..they're not taxing you" They're only charging you 10+ dollars for a re skinned mount. They should not have added the ridiculous cartel market to begin with. Sure it was all great in the beginning. Tons of people are coming back to the game and it seems like they actually want to make the game successful again. Now what do we get? Tons of new gear, new mounts, freaking holiday event stuff that you have to pay extra money for? On top of your 15 dollars a month? All you guys are fools, you give in and still pay their monthly fee basically telling them its ok to ignore subscribers.. keep putting out more stuff I can't get unless I pay more money for, meanwhile leaving bugs that have been in the game for months untouched. But when a bug comes out for the cartel market its fixed the next day. And all you people still buy it. Enjoy the money sink suckers.
  7. Hate to break it to you man but a lot of people who come in as F2P end up resubbing.. or playing so little they really don't even matter. Not to mention a lot of people who do play for free, end up spending at least some money on cartel points to the point where they might as well be a sub. You have no idea what you're talking about. And I have to agree with the person above who said cartel will ruin this game. That is exactly what is going to happen. Look at all the gear they are coming out with in the cartel market that you can't get anywhere else. And they got speeders, and much much more. What do you think they're trying to make their pitch to? It's becoming very clear already what direction they're taking this game. When a developer decides to release new gear that looks pretty cool that people who pay money every single month can't even get, well that my friend is a very bad sign. Bioware could be spending all their work and designers time on creating great content for all subs, create new mechanics, fix bugs, change the game to how it should be, and then focus the game back on its subscribers like it should have done. Essentially making the F2P just a story demo of the game. But we all know that won't happen, theyre going to continue to screw all the people who play the game make us spend even more money on a game that isn't even worth 15 a month at its current state. And all the suckers on here dishing out their hard earned money will be the ones who keep this empty shell of a game going for years, until it dies. And btw, I dont give a crap how much money someone makes, or what cool stuff they have, when they start flaunting it in other peoples faces who don't have much, then you sure as heck bet people have a right to step in and tell them how they feel.
  8. Pardon me sir, would you like some of our fine delicious cheeses to go with that whine??
  9. 1. Animal Mounts, also increase the mount speeds to more so reflect speeders in the Star Wars universe. Come on, they released a cool looking pod racer that looks like a turtle could outrun it? 2. More playable species (The more non human the better). 3. More stuff to do endgame besides PVP and PVE raiding. (mini-games, collecting rare artifacts, collecting pets, chance for rare world drops).
  10. Wow they add more stuff and people still whine and complain and some even say they dont want it? Really people quit the game. It will make it much more enjoyable for us who want this game improved.
  11. OMG another idiot whos purpose is to make this game sooo easy it becomes stupid as hell. The same people did the same thing to wow.. and now this game. I really hope you do quit, please do us all a favor so we can enjoy a game with an actual challenge.
  12. Thank you for letting me know I am entitled to an opinion, truly sir. And the reason I put "we" is because I am not the only one who feels this way. Believe it or not I do spend time reading forums, time in game reading chat. Therefore when you talk about something that more than 1 person feels the same way for, I becomes we. Perhaps you should rethink the way you comment on someones post beforehand and think of a better way to show your disagreement with their post. But I guess you are entitled to your own opinion as well.
  13. Well my friend this is what I made this post for in the beginning. People WANT to know what is being worked on, and they want to know far more than when its going to be released. We want to know they actually are making it a priority and that we will see it eventually. The problem with what you're saying is that when they simply don't release information at all, people just start to feel like whatever issue that is, isn't important to them. And people will deal with it, for a time. However at a certain point...months of no information, that's how people end up leaving the game.
  14. So..I'm very tired of hearing, we can't talk about that right now, or we have no information we can give you about this etc. I firmly believe Bioware/EA whoever is making these decisions, to keep us completely in the dark when it comes to new announcements is seriously hurting the game in the long run. I'm not going to speculate on the status of the game as of right now, but I am finding a huge problem is the lack of information coming out for this game lately. And the fact that I, and many other people don't know if this game is doing well is a testament in itself. Please start telling us what is going on in future plans, tell us something exciting you are working on to give people hope that this game will last, and that you are listening to the fans. So many people who are leaving or have left could have been easily persuaded to stay just by simply letting us know whats going on, or whats being worked on. We don't need a release date.. These people are unhappy with the state of the game, not getting the changes we want, being led to think by the lack of information that nothing we are asking for is going to be released even remotely soon, and for all we know Bioware is working on some serious problems or adding content we all want. But they allow us to continually feel this game is in decline and making many feel they really aren't listening. And sure, they will release information a few weeks before that content is actually released, in the meantime maybe a few thousand people thinking this game is going no where unsubbed, or people like me play on, blinding hoping Bioware is progressing this game in a positive direction. And in my opinion, that isn't winning over the favor of a large player base thus far. Bioware treats this game as if it has such a strong fallowing, and people will continue to play no matter what, and they tell us something huge is coming out soon but won't talk about it, thinking people will stick around to find out. Stop it, seriously, just tell us a few important parts of something important to look forward to. makeb for example, we get a new planet, we've known that since it was announced that's great, but this is an expansion and all they could give us was info on one of two things they've already told us about months ago? What else is going to be in it actually worth sticking this game out for? There are so many posts about this expansion not being worth it, because we have no idea what the heck is going to be in it. I'm sure the expansion will be awesome, so get us hyped about it! Trust me, it won't ruin the game or make people not buy it. And what else do we know about the game, besides a super secret space development? Or the information on redoing Ilum early next year. They tell us they're adding new quest guys, and a new event, then they say they can't go into it any further..?? Just tell us you're adding some kick *** pvp area, or somethings. Its stuff like this that they refuse to give us information on and I just don't understand it, and I want this game to succeed so badly. I feel like I know nothing about the status of the game, where it's headed, when are we getting things we've been asking for for months? And to the people who will try to fight against this saying what? People will complain when they don't get something that's been promised? Well you know what, I would rather know that Bioware is working on something awesome like a new race, or mini games and not know when it will be released, then sitting on my bum every day playing on hoping they are coming out with something to make me want to stick with it. So please stop with the super secret plans every time you are asked any questions in interviews or Q&As open up and give us the information we are looking for, at least enough to give us hope for the future.
  15. Dude getting hk is sooo easy. It took me just a few hours one day. Then you either queue up in the group finder for the two fp parts or look for a group manually and bam. I swear it's people just like you who wine and wine about how hard crap is and then the developers have to nerf anything challenging in the game. It happened to wow turning all the world elites into non elites and nerfing everything else. If that happens here I'm done.. If it's too hard get a walk through online or find a friend.
