  1. Once you complete all 7(? I wasn't counting) of the new missions 2 new missions are unlocked. one is to complete a single mission and the other is to complete 2 more missions. They award: 2 BH, 40 Space comms, 5 Daily comms And the other: 4 BH, 80 Space comms, 10 Daily They didn't say weekly, I'm hoping they are available daily but I will find out soon.
  2. I suspect many players won't be able to complete the T7 missions even with the new gear. At least depending on what class you are. I can't compare the T7 missions, but the previous T6 mission had a HUGE gap between classes. In full artifact T6 parts, EMP, scrambler, and charger my JC could just barely complete the Impossible Sector mission with about 20% life left. My IA with blue T5 equipment and only the charger could complete the imperial equivalent with full life without ever even going below 50% shields. So far with full T7 equipment my JC has only been able to beat 2 of the missions. With a little more practice i'm sure I can get the rest, but I started lagging so badly that I couldn't play anymore.
  3. Please remove this patch and revert to the previous one. I went from having a ping of 53ms to having a ping of a constant 2300 ms since the patch. The game is completely unplayable.
  4. The "Hot" Prefixes will essentially be the ones that sell the best. First you have to look at what tier of customer you are looking at attracting. You can easily RE 22 enhancements but you will make very little off each one but you can make a lot of them. 26 and 27 enhancements are very hard and expensive to learn, but will sell for a lot of money each. Next you have to look at roles, most people play the game as a DPS, which means you will have a lot more customers if you focus on DPS enhancements. So i'd start there. As a DPS you get plenty of endurance, more then you really need in most cases, so for enhancements people usually go for the ones with a low DPS stat and higher other stats. This includes Power, Crit, Surge, and Alacrity. Any enhancement with low endurance and a high combination of the 4 DPS stats will sell well. Alacrity ones will probably sell a little slower then Power, Crit and Surge because there are a couple of AC's that don't benefit from alacrity. So I would work towards making ones with low endurance and high Power, Crit and Surge. As for the actual name of the prefixes I don't know them off the top of my head, they can be found most simply by searching the AH and looking at the names.
  5. Hmm I was expecting something a little more dramatic for the SSSP, but I guess you take what you can get after F2P.
  6. The devs already made that mistake once. I can't imagine they'd made it again.
  7. Hi all. I just resubbed to make sure I get my CE coins, but I was wondering what happens if I unsub again? I know F2P has a lot of restrictions, but I subbed for the first 8 months and have a lot of stuff. If I unsub what happens to all the stuff I got while subbed but isn't part of what F2P can get? Things such as: 1. My main character is not one of the F2P races, can I still play him if I go F2P? 2. I bought all the available cargo holds and they are full of stuff. F2P doesn't get access to those, so do I get to keep them since I bought them while subbed or not? 3. I have all BH gear, but F2P has to buy permission to wear Epic gear. Will I have to buy that license to wear the gear I already am wearing? 4. F2P has a credit cap. It is likely I am over this cap, what happens to my money when I drop to F2P? I'm sure there are other things but those are the ones that immediately come to mind and I haven't been able to find answers to those questions. If there is somewhere with answers please point me in the right direction, thanks.
  8. they don't have anyone left working on bug fixes or to maintain the servers the only people left are trying to figure out how to milk as much money as possible from the remaining subs and F2P players.
  9. This isn't Anet this is Bioware, don't hold your breath.
  10. It's too late, they have already said they are going P2W. They are letting you buy blue level gear up to level 49. World leveling PvP (if it ever happens) and 10-49 PvP bracket are now P2W. I give it another month before they talk about how you can use the cash shop to "save time" by buying black hole gear (technically not top end since you can get Campaign gear) or BM gear. Then soon after that it will be campaign and WH gear.
  11. "we will offer items to increase your power, but not at the highest level" Unacceptable. An advantage at any level is P2W. So glad I canceled my sub.
  12. oh... a whole new color! and that's why the game is going F2P... pretty much sums it up right there.
  13. Well this is it for us 6 monthers. Renewal is this week. Who is staying and who is leaving? anyone renewing for another 6 months? Personally I am not renewing, I will be taking a 3-4 month break to try out GW2 and wait for TOR to get more content.
  14. Because they don't have a F2P store that they can charge for use of that service yet.
  15. People say that TOR is just like WoW but it is simply not true... 1 Tier of TOR raiding = same set bonuses as the last raid tier, 1 new armor set, and 4 bosses 1 Tier of WoW raiding = new set bonuses, 3 new armor sets, 8+ bosses TOR dailies = 15 quests that are exactly the same that you have to do every day WoW dailies = 15+ quests that involve a variety of activities, transforming, jousting, bombing runs, etc with dynamic quests that change the landscape as you complete more and the dailies rotate so you do different ones every day to keep it more interesting So yes they have the same categories of stuff but they are NOT the same
  16. Your server was merged. You are eligible for a free transfer to a new server. check out the transfer information on this site to learn how.
  17. WoW so many Mara's/Sent's in this thread... Which is to be expected I guess since 90% of PvP players are now Mara's/Sent's
  18. Funny thing is... this is exactly the stance the devs took in beta. "Screw you guys, you don't know what you want, you will like what we tell you to like in a game" Except that people like what they like, not what Bioware (or you) tells them to like... so they all left...
  19. The sadest part of all this is that TOR markets replayability as a key feature and part of endgame, while it has the least replayability of any MMO on the market. Heck even in WoW I can level up 3 Alliance characters and 3 Horde Characters from 1-60 without repeating a single quest. In TOR if you level 3 Republic characters you will do the exact same quests 3 times for 90% of the game. Only the 10% class stories will be different.
  20. Again, i'm not sure where you are getting your information, but as far as I can tell from the forums the majority of complaints are that the raids are buggy, there is no new content being released, the game is linear, there are too many credit grinds, everything is grind at 50, and there isn't any variety in the endgame activities. There are also plenty of PvP complaints, but I would say they are in the minority at this point, most of the PvP'ers left in the first few months of the game.
  21. Sorry you spent so much time writing this post but I thought I should point out... The focus of GW2 is NOT PvP... Sure the PvP is 10,000x better than in TOR, but the vast majority of content in GW2 is PvE...
  22. I'm pretty sure everyone is aware of how it is SUPPOSED to work... it just doesn't a lot of the time.
  23. I'm not sure where you are getting your information, the only thing I could find in the Q&A is: Samohnat: Will Cartel Coins be available via in-game mechanics? Damion Schubert: Not initially. We may expand this in the future, but it’s not a goal for launch of the system. Which is referring to being able to EARN the coins in-game, not actually buy them. Of course you will be able to buy them and see how many you have in-game otherwise they wouldn't be able to make any money with an in-game shop, which is the whole point to begin with.
  24. I think that's just a typo. They mean 1-5 million. At least that is what would give them 120-150million annual revenue. In general a F2P player spends an average of like $20 a month based on an article I saw about LOTRO a year or so ago. So at $240 a year with a million players would put them at least close to the revenue range they quote.
  25. So it took 2 weeks and you had to "carefully word" your answers because of legal problems and all you gave us is "we will tell you "soon" and no more Q&A's" to only half a dozen questions??? Well at least it's not hard to figure out WHY the game is going F2P.
