  1. Cool story, bro. Wanna cookie? I could solo if I wanted to just like the Star Fortresses, but I don't want to. it's tedious and boring. It's much more fun in a group. Which is the point of making them H4s in the first place I suppose. However, no one wants to group anymore. It's been that way for years. You might get an occasional pug at peak time, but good luck any other time. Thereby forcing me to solo these things. I enjoy soloing everything else but H4s... that is not fun. I ain't got time for that. So nice try, Keith but you failed. Your predecessors learned this and now it's your turn.
  2. It only happens when SPOILER was SPOILER not if he was SPOILER.
  3. You can try pm'ing Musco. This is the second time recently I've read of the same CS agent getting the followup ticket. It's also the second time I've read of him punting on the followup response. It's starting to look like there's just one guy working there and he doesn't seem to be all that bothered.
  4. After finally getting to play it I'm at a solid "meh". It is nice looking but I don't look at it through nostalgia glasses. I don't really get a sense that it's the same planet from before. There's no interactions with NPCs or places that say to me "remember this?". The dailies are just that, dailies - nothing special. Go here click this, go there shoot that. It's disappointing that the weekly can't be done solo. The rewards aren't very rewarding either, especially since the currency is per character. I don't see myself spending much time here at all. Maybe it will be alright for the occasional event as something different to do, but even then I don't feel there's much of an incentive.
  5. Probably months ago and have been sitting on it. I said it when Ossus was announced that the timing, what with 6.0 being implied, and the gear grind that it seemed intended to fill time. They've probably had parts of 6.0 done and ready before then.
  6. I see what you're getting at and it is more interesting than the usual good guy=good bad guy=bad stuff, something about her, probably the voice acting, she just comes off as having the personality of a rock. After a couple playthroughs I was ready to never hear her again.
  7. It really is infuriating. Best way to get my sub cancelled since it almost exclusively goes to forum access. Good to know it's not just me.
  8. Yes they have. The engine can't handle it. Basically, during testing, characters would get "lost" when returning back to their origin server.
  9. That's about it for me too. Especially the up to Ziost part.
  10. That's good. Case design and airflow is so underrated when building a system. I see a lot of people get cases that have some super sweet look but those super sweet looks won't mean diddly when your components overheat and fry. I have liquid cooling for the CPU too. I also got some sound dampening for my latest rig. The last one was sooo loud with all the fans. This one is super quiet.
  11. Bangin rig, bruh. You can run any game on the market with that and a few years to come.
  12. Usually a restart will make NPCs reappear. If not try the repair tool mentioned above.
  13. Some people apparently don't get the joke that is Space Barbie. The humor, the self-deprecation... the injustice.
  14. You're going to chastise me about an agenda and then post this bait? Really? Nice potshot at everyone though.
  15. There's nothing wrong with what you typed out. Nothing rude. And the thing is, you don't need to be professional, courteous helps, but you're not being paid to write out the ticket. They're the ones that need to be professional in their replies. We're paying them lest they forget. It's one thing if their original response was 'that's not something we can fix, sorry' and you continue to submit tickets - fix this, fix this, fix this - that could be abuse of service. But it's another thing to be given incorrect information and in your follow up to ask for someone to take a look at it again since it wasn't correct and then have the fix botched. It's perfectly fine, because it is your only recourse to do it this way, to ask for it to be put on the right character or ask what to do with it because it's on the wrong character. To be told, in essence, 'I've helped you already now go away' is completely unprofessional. Their response should have been 'Sorry, which character should I move that to?". It's not that hard. If you're new here, or just unaware, Eric Musco is the Community Manager. You can find his posts on the Dev tracker to send him a PM. Or if you don't want to jump through all the menu hoops his email is emusco@bioware.com
  16. No no no. We can't have you getting crystals quicker and stop grinding. Then you'll go back to doing what you enjoy and cancel your sub. Their logic, not mine.
  17. I'd be inclined to believe you, Steve, and good thing BW isn't in England, but we all know support is a term used loosely around here. They're outsourced, they're not native English speakers, they don't play the game and there have been numerous occasions shown on these forums where you have to wonder if they even know what they're doing. At least in the case of tier one support (if there even is a tier 2). I myself have had to put in secondary tickets more than a few times RE'ing the first ticket to ask for someone to re-read my original because the (usually obtuse) response clearly didn't address the issue. Luckily for me, I've always gotten a different person that did address the issue. The OP obviously didn't and he has every right to ask for more support from someone else. He has done what he's supposed to do, pointing out their error, going through the proper channels and the response he gets about abuse of service is ridiculous. No one should ever get a response that is tantamount to "stop bothering us or we'll ban you". That's a complete failure of service and a pathetic abuse of power on their part. What's his recourse when support isn't support at all? Musco has previously stated to send him a PM when these kinds of things pop up.
  18. He never made that claim. Get down from your ivory tower.
  19. On the DVD commentary track of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope and in interactive CD-ROM Star Wars: Behind the Magic, Lucasfilm Ltd. sound designer Ben Burtt stated that he based Huttese on Quechua, an indigenous language family spoken by the Quechua peoples, primarily living in the Andes and highlands of South America.
