  1. How you can say this with a straight face? Pvpers already get almost free adrenals and health packs which blow away the rakata reusables in pvp. The only thing they need to buy is a stim, which lasts through death and is usable by anyone. So pvpers can just pick up gathering skills to max credits while pvping. A pve player is still almost forced into biochem because of the adrenal situation, there just aren't enough of them available due to crafting costs and time, so even if you had unlimited credits you would have trouble supplying yourself enough adrenals to use whenever you wanted.
  2. I can't understand why all this ************ about biochem things is coming from pvpers. Pvpers are the group of players that are the least dependent on biochem. Pvpers have: 1) A superior adrenal consumable (very cheap, earned through pvp). 2) A superior healing consumable (again very cheap and earned through pvp) 3) So all pvpers are missing is the stim. Fun fact, exotech stims are BETTER than the reusable rakata stim and are usable by anyone. So you can spend 15-20k for a 2 hour stim that persists through death. Because of the above pvpers don't need any crafting skill at all and are free to take 3 gathering skills to earn free credits while pvping which will easily cover the cost of your 1 stim every 2 hours. You also have 3 items which are better in every way for pvp than the reusable rakata items. So what is the point of this thread again?
  3. They don't even need to do all that, they can simply add a pass button that lets you decide that you don't want an item that was assigned to you, then the game reassigns it to someone else. They just fixed the problem with one easy step. People can pass things to people who need it when they don't, and the loot system is preserved for pugs.
  4. If it was an exploit to leave an instance while an encounter was in progress, then Bioware, the guys you said had control over everything, would make it so it wasn't possible. Since it is possible I guess it is intended that that is the way to pass on unwanted ops loot, since there isn't another way. Until they either say something about it or make a change, nothing you say on the forums matters, except to expose you as a little *****.
  5. I didn't realize that you paid his and everyone in his guild's subscription fees. The fact that you can't pass on loot in normal mode ops and have it reassigned is really stupid. People like to help their guild mates gear up and they like to do it raiding, and the loot system makes it frustratingly hard to do.
  6. I levelled my first character on a pvp server. I saw enemy forces about 4 times total while levelling from 1-50. I guess that makes me a lot better than someone who levelled on a pve server and engaged with enemy forces 4 times less than me while levelling. Those 4 pvp encounters made me the man I am today.
  7. Man what would you guys complain about if they actually listened to you and made all of the classes the same? I mean, after you realize that it is just you being terrible that makes you lose all the time, what will you be able to blame?
  8. Yea the thread started almost 3 months ago that is full of misinformation and fixed bugs really made me stop to think. I think you guys are right, Bioware is purposely biased against half of their playerbase, their ultimate motivation is to have them quit so that the Empire will rule unchecked.
  9. So 2 differences in animations means that the devs all play sith and hate the republic side. I see now it all makes sense, thanks for alerting me to this massive imbalance.
  10. How about you actually list some imbalances instead of crying like a little girl on the forums. It really is amazing how much stupidty permeates this place, it almost makes you dumber reading the threads on this board.
  11. These forums are *********** hilarious, so many mensa members with all of their "facts" trying to get things nerfed.
  12. You know how when you are running a FP while levelling up the only gear that drops is gear that is usable by people present for the kill? Well I think this code is supposed to apply to HM FP's as well, but they got something wrong in the code so that it instead drops gear for the class that you are missing instead of the ones that are there. This is just a theory of mine, but from watching the drops in a lot of HM FP's it makes sense. Try making a perfectly balanced group and see if you get mostly aim gear, I bet you are getting mostly aim stuff because you don't have a BH in your party.
  13. So your test proved that different classes are different, grats the character select screen tells you that, no need to even go into the game. I never said the classes were balanced in the end. I asked you how the **** do YOU know they aren't? Please enlighten me with more of your scientific testing of damage co-efficients and their effect on all skills and talents that the different class all have. Where is your spreadsheet with all of your damage calculations for all 8 AC's and their total theoretical damage output? What exactly are you doing to contribute? You are posting made up "facts" on the forums to try to get something nerfed.
  14. Why is it an issue? Like I said before, do you have the only working combat log in the game? How do you know that the damage of the different classes isn't balanced with the gear available in the game to them? Does it really matter if one class gains more from one stat than another as long as they are balanced against each other and the rest of the game? You can't answer these questions because then you would have to admit that you just made some **** up and went to the forums to post it. Like I said before that seems to be par for the course on these forums, but posters like you are making this place a *********** cesspool and if BW wants actual feedback on the game these forums are the LAST place they should come.
  15. Once you get to max level 10000 ls or ds it fixes itself. Kinda annoying when you look at your char screen before then, but really there are more important things for BW to work on fixing.
  16. And mercs wish they had an interupt like every other AC in the game or some way to escape being focused.
  17. It's a good thing for you then that force power only comes on a weapon or oh item and it is tied directly to the power rating of the item meaning you NEVER, ever have to choose between force power and ANY stat including power. As for the OP, who cares that different classes get different benefits from different stats. Who are you to say that different classes even do different damage? Do you have a 50 of every class that you have done controlled tests with to see the damage? Do you have the only working combat log of everyone playing the game? Oh you are just making **** up and posting it on the forums. I know that seems to be par for the course around here, but maybe you should stop to think before the next retarded post you make.
  18. Too bad your post didn't contain very many of them....

    Fixing PVP

Reading an entire paragraph is hard, that is why I stopped after only reading one sentence of your post. It was enough to know how dumb you are.
  20. He meant after the surge nerf today.
  21. Maybe because he is talking about dps, it's pretty obvious the surge nerf doesn't affect tanking very much.
  22. As soon as you spend 20k on a max level purple mission from the GTN, send your companion out for 2.5 hours to complete it at a cost of 3k, and he comes back empty handed, you won't like them as much then. I found that just doing the normal missions with the highest yield got me enough of the purple mats that I needed, but if I did need a certain amount of purple medical supplies I might go with a purple mission to get it since it is guaranteed. It just really sucks when they fail.
  23. It's almost like they designed the classes differently. Some might say it was done on purpose.
  24. I would unstack them, because you can only learn 1 schematic from stim/medpacks. If you RE a stack, but you learned the recipe on the first RE, the rest of the stack will still be RE'd but you won't be able to learn anything from it, so you just get a few mats back. If you don't care about the mats or selling the extra items, go ahead and do the stack to save yourself time.
  25. So in 2 years time you will have one of the below situations: 1) New raids are added bringing better, and better than Rakata gear into the game while pvp gear stays the same. -- Result: everyone has to pve for the best pvp gear. 2) New raids with new gear is added, new pvp gear is added that has the same item levels as the new pve gear. -- Result: new 50's are forced to go through pvp item tiers in order to become competetive in pvp (pve as well, but at least they are doing content their gear level was meant for). But due to the ridiculous gear difference between centurian gear and the new superbattlemaster gear that the people who have been playing for 2 years are wearing, new 50's trying to enter pvp have to overcome gigantic hurdles, many probably won't bother. 3) New raids with new gear added, new pvp gear is added, valor is reset at pre-determined intervals, season 1 champion gear retains it's stats but is renamed centurian for season 2 (and so on) and is obtained in the same way as it is now. -- Result: Old time pvpers still have the advantage of already having a full gear set from the previous season, while new 50's are able to get a competitve set of gear without having to scale a massive cliff. 3 is what Blizzard does with arena seasons in WoW and it is really the only long term solution available. If bioware allows pvp gear levels to become so staggering that a new 50 has 0 chance to compete in pvp, then the new 50 will not pvp. With no new blood entering pvp it will eventually become such a niche that Bioware will be forced to make massive game changes 2 years in which isn't good for anyone.
