Coming back to SWTOR properly after playing casually for a while and was wondering what the best and/or fastest ways to make credits are these days at level 60 for a subscriber and how much I'm looking to make? I used to make my credits by playing the GTN but it's fairly time consuming checking it regularly and just cba with doing that anymore.

That's interesting to know, I have a level 51 Operative and honestly I LOVE the play style hence why I'm even considering making another one but it feels like I hit like a wet noodle in comparison to my Assassin. Sniper survivability sure sucks, I guess that's the problem with that class.. you have to try and not draw attention to yourself. Biggest worry I have though is all the strong abilities have a cast time or at least did before 3.0, I used to have a field day taking on gunslingers/snipers on my merc.

I want to play through the agent story again however I've done most quests so much now that I just cba going through them all again so outside of story missions, I plan on doing a lot of warzones. What current state are both classes in at lower levels? I have both an Operative and a Gunslinger and enjoy both so really not sure which one I want to go with.. I have very little interest in healing so that rules that out.

With the digital expansion set for early release on Tuesday, I'm curious as to what to expect with the new class story quests.. like are they going to be small stories or a whole new act? Seeing how cheap the expansion is, I can't quite possibly fathom how they can include new class stories alongside the other new content. Imho I think the stories was SWTOR's strongest element not to mention what sets it apart from the rest of the other MMOs, I'm starting to get excited to explore the new story stuff but not quite sure whether I should keep my expectations low or not.

I use a prepaid card for all my online transactions and need to go top it up but really going to struggle to make the time today, am I good for doing it tomorrow? Decided to pick up my Operative again who is at level 41 especially after hearing that they have been given a buff last patch however tbh, I'm feeling a little underwhelmed by them. I don't know if it's a l2p issue but I really struggle in 1v1s in warzones and seemingly hit like a wet noodle in comparison to my assassin. I play the concealment spec and not sure if they're just really weak or I just suck at them.. I can usually win 99% of my 1v1s with almost every class so not sure why I'm struggling so bad as an Operative.

9/12 times having the same Warzone is just too high for it to be random.

Has there ever been any info released on how the warzone queue chooses which warzone you go in? Such as a certain one taking preference? I'm currently doing warzones and dailies to help me grind a few levels on about three different characters so I can skip Belsavis and tbh, it seems that 3/4 supposedly random warzones I'm in is either Novare Coast or the Hypergate one. Been trying today to actually get in a different one for a change 9/12 Warzone queues (I've counted) has been Novare Coast. Surely that can't just be a random coincidence?

4 times in a row. I can't believe BW would add them though to the warzone playlist.. it's almost a completely different type of game that's not casual friendly at all. I find running random warzones while leveling a frustrating experience enough sometimes without throwing a much more skill based mode into the mix.

Came back after a few months out and every time I join a random warzone, it keeps putting me in arenas. Completely different types of games imho and I have no interest in Arenas.. is there any way of turning them off so I can just do some warzones?

Going to make a LS Sith Assassin and thinking of getting Treek to replace Khem because tbh, Khem doesn't fit with a LS character at all and tbh, find him a little boring. What's people's thoughts on Treek? Does he have a specific role? Does he have conversations/story like other companions?

Doing a main story quest and managed to mess it up. Was killing someone who I had to loot and decided to finish him off with a force push which registered after his death. Not sure if that added to it but when I looted the person, it didn't register that I picked up the item and won't let me access the computer the item is for. Is there anything ingame I can do or is it a case of making a ticket and waiting for a response?

Really want to get the red scalene set for my alt, as a freshly dinged 55, will it be possible for me to get enough rep by the 6th August to get the set? What dailies/missions should I be running that will be viable for me?

I'm assuming it was in 2.0 however the old pvp vendors for level 20 and level 40 pvp gear seem to have vanished.. did they remove the items completely from the game or move them somewhere else?

I think the OP is spot on with the main reason why he resubbed back to WoW, he can do so in the comfort of knowing Blizzard is going to evolve the game. After Makeb, what are the chances we are going to get any more story content? Story is the one stand out feature of this game and without that being a main focus point, I can only see a stale future for this kept on life support by the CM. SWTOR isn't a bad game by no means, the story is really REALLY good however the MMO elements of the game leave much to be desired. SWTOR has many many memorable moments especially in the story however as the OP said, the game lacks any soul and despite such a great story, fails to immerse you into the world on the level that WoW does. I still remember the first time I walked into stormwind seeing the Warcraft 2 heroes immortalized and being greeted by that epic stormwind song, or the spooky feel of duskwood and darkshire when you first go there, or going to Booty Bay for the first time, or the first time I joined a group to disrupt the horde from taking down the world boss in azshara.. I could go on, there is just so many memorable moments in the game completely independent of the story and this imho, is the biggest thing SWTOR lacks.

Dinged last night but never got any gear. It's not a complaint from me personally, I can manage to do Makeb just fine it's more of a case of that I'm sure there will be many who are going to really struggle especially a good five hours in.

Going through Makeb now on a freshly dinged 50 and while it was fine at first, I'm now level 52 (close to 53) and finding myself dying an awful lot. Obviously as a freshly dinged 50 I don't have great gear, in fact I'm using custom gear with level 47 blue item mods in all slots minus high level augmentations. Now I can get by fine like this but I really can't see say how a f2per in green gear could possibly go to Makeb without being overly frustrated at almost every mob encounter specially with their limited quickbars.

Nearly 52 and really enjoying Makeb (thanks Bioware) however I must say, lightside RPers are really getting shafted seeing how easy it is to aggro non combatants and being forced to kill cowering npcs. Not a huge deal but seeing how Hickman claims to be a big RPer, is it safe to assume he hasn't even tested Makeb as a lightside character?

Have Bioware actually confirmed everyone will be able to start leveling once 2.0 is officially released? I find it strange how there isn't a countdown timer until Makeb or just something to get people hyped and ready for it. Still, seeing how EAware's history with patching patches, I wouldn't hold my breath for a long leveling session in Makeb tomorrow.
