Yes people should just accept 4-5 hour queues to play a game.. you must be an easy person to please.

Yeah everywhere but the one place game fans come together to discuss their game... gg BW. I think it's terrible community support when people just spend a minute to make some silly little update on twitter. How hard can it really be to make a proper sticky talking about the server queues, saying how they plan on dealing with and how long we have to brave these horrible queues? Worst yet, us early access people are the ones who most wanted the game who most kept a tab on it and will most likely make up the backbone of the game in six months time when interest dies down somewhat. If launch day is anything like things are now, I don't think this game will be half as popular as it deserves to be. People will stick around because it's an amazing game and far better than WoW but many people just won't bother if they're going to be waiting 30+ minutes to login each time they want to play.

Bump, hopefully BW will respond to this eventually.. the queues are bad enough but this will at least make it somewhat more bearable.

This needs bumping tbh.. I can't believe grace periods aren't in the game.. I regularly suffer from CTDs and while I'm extremely fortunate to not have to queue yet when you're in the middle of a warzone you get kicked and i've lost so much xp from crashing with less than a minute left. For those who suffer from this with queues must have it so much worse.. this is something that can be implemented quite simply I imagine and can't see why BW won't.

EU realms queue galore so Bioware's response is new servers? Please don't let this be the only answer. Servers like LoL, Bloodworthy and TOFN have had queue problems extending far beyond conventional means and have had long queues for the past two days at least. I understand us early access people are guinea pigs to an extent but really, you gotta be faster at sorting these things out.. surely you knew how many early access keys you was sending out to EU folk? Surely you had contingency plans ready and waiting for situations like this? 3 hour queues is pretty unacceptable by my standards regardless if it's early access or not.

Can only imagine what it'll be like Tuesday morning when people come on see it populated and join completely ignorant to just how bad it'll be.

Excellent suggestion and a good chance to see what we can expect from Bioware in terms of good community service. Quite frankly the sticky about the queues was a joke and a piss poor attempt at showing the loyal players of TOFN some loving.

I'm pretty sure the Italians were re-evaluating where to go to. Seriously though, just admit it, you're here on this thread because you're on a different pvp server and just trying to deter pvpers from wanting to come on TOFN.

Getting a good vibe from this server.. how are things going so far?

To be honest the current people populations are based on the more dedicated mmo players.. chances are the Empire will have the better pvpers as the more hardcore/dedicated gamers seem to be choosing them but come the 20th and within the first few weeks of release, I imagine the more casual players will be choosing the republic as they only want to play the good guys.

What's with all the LoL is the UK based server nonsense? Is it the unofficial pro BNP/UKIP server or something? One of the greatest things we have being European is that we get the chance to mingle with so many different people from many different countries and cultures. Also all this "our server is the pro pvp server" crap just makes me embarrassed to call myself a pvper. All this bickering will just push people away from the servers rather than make them want to join.

As far as I can gather from reading that: LoL = WoW pvpers server community Tomb = other mmo pvpers community Take that as you will personally I feel more inclined to play on Tomb but going to wait it out and see how things pan out.

Tomb is an EU server but the only problem is that it could be the unofficial spanish server which means it could get overpopulated fast. There is also talk of Italians choosing it too alongside some Russians. While I have no problem playing with multinational people and love it in fact but WoW is a good cautionary tale of server problems early on with people picking it as a language's unofficial server. I joined the Empire side there and it seems mostly English speak on the BH starter planet.. the Spanish also seem eager to prove they're happy mingling with the English which is also a good sign.
