No. People like you need to stop complaining about space combat and understand why it's the way it is. The focus is on your character and story. This IS a BioWare game. Space combat was only added very late in the game because players wouldn't stop asking for it. It was not intended to even be a part of the game to begin with, so suck it up and have some patience. @ OP I gave up pvp weeks ago. It's just not worth the stress, and it never was in any game. Just do the daily or even just the weekly on Ilum and you're good. Gear is ridiculously easy to get, so I don't know why in the world you would focus exclusively on pvp. It's random to discourage people like you from solely focusing on it.

BUMP for getting community's attention. What type of server are you on? PVP servers, even/especially RP-PVP (because people only see the -PVP suffix) are the most unreasonable people in any and every mmo. PVE servers are hit or miss, RP servers are generally more tame. I've only had one person that's caused problems on mine. Also, don't play on NA servers. EU has a community of remarkable propriety in comparison, and I've never in my career seen remotely political discussion on their servers. Political discussion is unacceptable IC, OOC, and IRL, because everyone is wrong.

The first level 50 flashpoint I attempted (and cleared) was Hardmode Esseles. If you're a tank, you just need basic positioning/interrupt skills and more than 15k health. I highly recommend as little caster/immobile dps as possible to make the last fight go smoothly. I had to kill an enraged sith with 2500 hp left by myself and it was scary thank you Ion Pulse Panic Mode.

Township idea: how would that work? Hoth Settlers Survival Mode: now THAT is a fun idea! I'm with my SWG guild on Trask, but my vanguard will gladly help and support them or act as a liason with <Republic High Command>. EDIT: I personally like the Hoth idea a lot more than Taris, just because it's so much more open and there's plenty of things not on the main missions roads. The entirety of Taris is very closed and you'll probably have other players constantly swarming the areas trying to level. Tattoine is also more open and has some abandoned facilities. Most of these complaints are from DS SWs. Um...Jaesa dark side has no depth, no story, and is just as mindless as the PC. Light side Jaesa is much more put-together, interesting, and makes more sense. Quinn's a douchecanoe either way. Light side Jaesa should have healing abilities to replace him because you should be able to kill him.

You don't understand. That's a channeled ability, which still takes time to hit. ALL Inquisitor attack are instantaneous. PVP's not worth the headache in this game for the Republic as of yet.

It's called the Powered Ciridium Upgrade Helmet. You get it after completing one of the mission chains on Corellia, I believe. Same for the Powered Ciridium Upgrade Legplates. The Powered Ultrachrome Boots are from...Voss? The Powered Durasteel Belt may be from either Voss or Corellia, the chestpiece is from Cademimu, and there's a better matching set of gauntlets in the Maelstrom Prison.
