I am experienced MMO (started with EQ in 99) and decided to try the naga for the first time last week as a lot of people here seemed to be using it. I like it but I still use keyboard a lot because of habit. I am finding it hard to not use keyboard and have to think about using the mouse instead. I may create a new toon (I plan to anyway) and dedicate to using the naga exclusively all the time just to get used to it when thing's aren't too complicated and i don't have many keys to worry about it. I do like the naga at the moment and will hopefully get used to using it better soon, we will see.

I have several issues with the GTN including not being able to search by name for what you want right away. My other big gripe is that you can't buy part of a stack of an item. If someone has a stack of 99 and I only want 15 why can't I buy 15 from that stack. I know you can do it in other MMO's (not WoW, though maybe it does) and would make it a lot more user friendly, to me at least. If there is a way to this please let me know Thanks

There is a flag in preferences that let's more than 1 person, even of the same class into story instances. I am at work so can't tell you exactly where it is.

Well apart from the clunky interface my other big gripe is you cant buy stacks of something. Example someone puts up a stack of 99 for sale but you only want 40 you can't split that stack, you have to buy all or none. I know EQ2 is about 7-8 yrs older but this function has been in for so long I tend to think it has always been there. I have a trooper and decided to take up armour last night so I needed Desh to start with. I didn't need 99 because I would outlevel it so fast but there wasn't any option to buy 40-45 that I did need to start off the levelling process. I would like that to be looked at as well. If there is that function please let me know as I haven't been able to get it to work that way. Back on topic I think 50 is a bit low. Everyday you get a lot of BOP gear that drops from trash that you can't use so you try and sell it on GTN. usually doesn't sell but apart from selling to a vendor (still profit i guess) what else are you supposed to do with it?

Yea this so annoying, having 3-4 stacks of the same thing just fills up cargo hold slots for no reason I can tell. That is just bad programming or a design flaw that really should be fixed. Was it the same way in beta and they just decided to leave it the way it was or was it never reported as a problem...that I find hard to believe.

I was about to ask a similar question. I currently use the focus items in my offhand rather than a shield but tossing up if I should change. I am only 22 atm and usually solo quests with Khem Val and wondering what would be better. I am going Deception so not preparing to be a tank but Khem is very squishy right now (I need to look at his gear) and maybe shield option might be better...any opinions?

There should be GTN on every planet, maybe the spaceport. My bigger issue with the GTN is searching, it is terrible. You can't even just do an item search without using 4 drop-downs and doing a search before you can just type in what your looking for. If there is an easier way cn someone please enlighten me Thanks

I just hit 20 and am tossing up on continuing the gunnery tree or become a combat medic. It seems in any group situations I have been in (I mostly solo) I have ended up being healer. As I normally solo I am guessing gunnery would be a better option as I can always respec later but for 2 and 4 man runs I am unsure. I am doing PvE. Any suggestions where I should head.

I have a Miraluka female who has a red headpiece which I thought looked cool, until I got a robe and now it is hidden. I don't even like the look of it on the char select screen I do like the idea of taking another class modded armour and putting in sentinel mods. I might do that if I find one.

The GTN is just ridiculous. Drop down menu nightmare doesn't even begin to explain it.

At what level does Mako get CC abilities. I have noticed them yet and I am 21 merc BH. I guess I should pay more attention when I level and see if she gets any new abilities. Also do I have to wait till 32 to get next companion even though I do like Mako.

I tried this the other day but was having trouble but I have now lost the sonic device you need to call the queen. I can't abandon the quest and get a new one. Anyone have ideas how to get another one? Thanks

TBH I have barely looked at healing at all. My main goal as picking a merc was pure a DPS role but maybe I picked the wrong class. Basically I am just using healing top myself up after fights and to help mako out if we are in a tough fight. I don't really want to be a healer in a group situation but we will see. Thanks

I have done same as this and only just started using crew skills recently and was thinking of ditching cybertech. YOu are correct in making money is easy, I have over 21k so far and haven't even dome much besides quests and opening the odd chest I find on my questing. I haven't even really found anything to spend money on but I might look at getting some components tonight and try an make some stuff in cybertech to skill that up.

I hit 16 last night and at 15 or 16 I got healing scan as a new skill. I looked at it and seems way inferior to rapid scan in all ways. Less healed and also a MUCH longer cooldown. I have never played a healer in MMO's (EQ, EQ2 and WoW) and this just seems really odd to me. Am I missing something completly. If it was a bigger heal then yes I could understand it having a much longer cooldown. I am confused.

Ahh thanks, That explains that BP you get at end of Revanite series with the craptastic stats. I'll mod it and hopefully see a BIG improvement.

I am Aussie as well and had initially requested standard shipping. I went and changed it it to Priority today in hope I will get before Xmas. Here is hoping. Now if I could just get in pre-release that would be good too. Somehow I just let the game slip me by, oh well I will have it soon.

Hmm where is this posted? Also did they say where you can get it? I just posted a thread in Customer Service forum about trying to upgrade to collectors edition so I wasn't locked out between 22nd and when my Amazon order arrives in early Jan. Maybe I can cancel my Amazon order, tho I think it has already shipped. Kodo
