I have had all races unlocked for years but it seems I still have several that are locked on this server. I tried to create new characters on servers where I have existing characters and all races are unlocked. Is this a server related issue or another issue altogether? Thanks

Still happening as of 1 Feb. I got at least 3 items in one run. Do I have to wait until patch to identify them?

I am only level 33 and have an orange moddable shield. I am sure I received from a quest but I maybe wrong. I have had it a long while now and can't really remember but they are available earlier than Voss for sure.

This has been answered and the answer is no. Once it's unlocked it is unlocked forever.

Yea I wasn't real happy last night when my legacy name was already been used. I guess I should have created it with a toon I that had already unlocked it on the server but was waiting for the transfers. Now I am stuck with a legacy name I didn't really want. I have had the same legacy/surname in every MMO and other game since EQ1 It won't be the same /sad panda

I have a lvl 27 operative that I think I was running as concealment spent prior to 1.2 and had points refunded. I hadn't played her in a long while as I have been waiting for transfer to Oceanic but I logged her in for a little while last night and realised I had to respec. I had a look for a PvE concealment spec but it appears all the specs I can see inth thread in the IA Operative thread relate to mostly to healing specs and don't seem to be really any concealment specs out there that will get to acid blade at lest. Most specs rely on getting 2 kolto probes plus maybe 1-2 other healing abilities and then you have no chance to reach acid blade. Is acid blade that bad or is it much better to get the heals to use with TA when you get it. I haven't had a lot of issue as yet with Kaliyo soaking up damage and me DPS'ing them down so I am unsure. I can see I will play my operative a lot more once she is moved so this is a bit of preperation for that. I would appreciate peoples opinions on decent pure concealment spec, or if there even is one. Also telling me to just give up on operative, I have read the other posts about how bad we are, isn't really what I am after, even if you think it's valid. Thanks

The surname issue has been a big issue of mine for ages. I just find it weird that only one account can have a surname. As you state look at the phone book in any major city and you will find thousands of un-related people sharing the same surname and I just agree the same should apply to TOR. Good post and agree with most of it especially playing Mario to get datacrons. I have tried for 30-40 mins to get some on toons on a US server yet when I tried them on Dalborra (AU server) I was able to get them almost effortlessly so it seems latency figures into it as well. I know they are meant as a reward for exploration but really some are just insane and if you have any lag/latency or graphical issues you may never be able to get them no matter how skilled you may be.

That wasn't the OP question. he complaining why APAC are getting free transfers. If you want to complain and find their policy on transfers in general from low population servers do a search. there are a crapload of threads about it.

Yes I did the same for my 4 Imps and went to transfer them this morning, at work , and will now have to wait till I get home to delete those characters and then try to do the transfer process again. My understanding was we would request the transfer then 1-2 days before they were moved we would delete them to free up the spots. Tis way makes saving the names pointless as now others have several days, or over a week to "steal" the names we reserved. This is a failure as far as I can tell in the process. Unless they say these characters have been nominated for transfer and then block those names on the incoming server I can see a lot of cases of disputes over names as they didn't think it through properly.

Aye Eq2 voice chat is brillant and always use it and as someone said you don't have to arrange groups or raids to configure voice programs outside the game, it's just a dropdown for group, raid or guild. Lots of people look at WoW as pinnacle of MMO's but to me at least EQ2 is far superior in every way.

Did a search and I do have that email, I thought I had it. You would think they would be providing some news about it now with transfers due within the next 2 weeks. The email also a one-tine chracter transfer, I am hoping they aren't stupid enough to restrict it to one free character and you have to pay for the rest....are they??

I am a gunslinger on my alt and even I don't like this change. I used to think Corso pulling mobs to me was a pain but this change is even more annoying to me at least aesthetically. Every class as a melee and ranged tank, melee and ranged DPS and a healer. Now we have two melee tanks. Makes no sense at all.

WE were on Tattoine tonight as a guild killing MOB's and the difference between DFA and lightning storm was a joke. Everyone was commentating on it, even the other classes that didn't have the ability. It really did like a huge reduction and not really sure why it's a good idea. Who knows..

At level 10 most people are sent an email about choosing advanced class, doing first flashpoint and a few other things. Problem is this email usually arrives after everyone has already picked their advances class and done most other things mentioned in the email. when you have a lot of alts you know that email pretty well. What about 1 for level 50's though. explaining where the dailies are on the planets, the option to do hard mode flash points and a few other things. I know I can go to Ilum at 50 and i know there are a few dailies there but I don't know where they all are and I don't know where the ones on Belsavis or Corellia are either. Of course if I was playing my 50 I would probable looked at that but she is on a US server waiting to be transferred to Oceanic server so I haven't played her a lot since that server went live. Still would be an idea for new level 50's and give them idea what they can do besides standing around in fleet LFG.

They list the times in the posts, including the times in Australia. I am pretty sure lately they have been including downtime and expected uptime for 6-7 different time zones including GMT.

I just hit 33 and being the Talent 2 build that was posted as being purely defensive. With 1.2 is there much chance to that build and how I should allocate points as I unsure what to do with the next point. Thanks

In their defence it is the weekend and if you check Dev Tracker history you will rarely see responses on the weekend. I would love my 4 Imps to be transferred across. I have made 4 Republic toons whilst been waiting as I didn't want to create anymore Imp toons, just created name holders for them so names weren't taken. Oh well maybe we will here something this week..."not holding breath"

My issue with naming convention names from Star Wars lore and canon aren't being blocked. You shouldn't be allowed to have Bastila or variations of her name or Revan and who knows what else I have seen running around. They block Yoda, can't even use it in a guild name, but don't block all these other names. It just seems wrong to me.

Yea I have 4 Imps on a US server I am waiting to transfer. I have been levelling 4 Pub toons on Dalborra but because of legacy I haven't finished Ch1 on any of them. I guess I could finish and not unlock it. Just don't want to waste any legacy xp I do accrue only for it to be wiped when transfers happen.

Yea I kno what you mean. I have stuff like kick travel, speeder and the like on a quick bar that isn't hot keyed. They are used out of combat so don't see a need to hotkey them as such.
