  1. I checked it again. The character had 7.6% alacrity from gear, and 2% passive alacrity from being Pyro spec. Other alacrity buffs are temporary buffs from cooldowns. 7.6% is reasonable with an entire secondary stat pool. But I really don't see stacking alacrity beyond 7-8% with PvP gear and an entire stat pool, which has a lower stat pool than PvE gear.

  3. There is nothing wrong with the class, unless you are talking about solo ranked. Group ranked survivability remains to be seen in 3.0, because the team's survival is heavily dependent on the tank and the healer. Stun damage reduction will help surviving focus fire while the healer heals the merc.
  4. If I understand correctly, your complain is about solo ranked. I don't think BW is ever going balance classes around solo ranked, and I don't think PvPers will want that either. I got a Gunnery Commando and he is more than fine in regular warzones.
  5. Opening burst from stealth is nerfed for both sins and ops. When you see the DPS Ops changes, you will see that their stealth opening burst is nerfed a lot too. We got other things to compensate though, like root break force speed, which was inaccessible to DPS spec before.
  6. So you want stun immunity for Mercs too? That would be way too OP. And they are getting stun damage reduction anyway.
  7. Blazing Bolt while moving and also snaring the target at the same time, and it can be used very 8s. Sweet stuff.
  8. Yes, make it a CC and Snare immunity for 5 seconds and keep it at 2 minutes cooldown and I am happy with that. Undying Rage is useless right now in both PvP and PvE.
  9. Not true, Shadows have plenty of 10m attacks, self-purge, CC defense, and root break Force Speed to keep up with range. Jugs and PTs got just as much upgrade in utility to keep up with range. Fury's new RB is 10m and has plenty of other 10m attacks and snare, and have access to Camou root break. Same for Anni. Only Carnage actually lost a range root.
  10. Yes, the info is out there. Gore is flat 15s cooldown now. No cooldown reduction or reset except by Alacrity. People may discredit leaked info, but all the leaked info has been consistent with what BW officially released and there are only 2 weeks left until expansion. So I am sure that the leaked info is 99% accurate.
  11. Where did you get this info from? Because if it is true, then Alacrity will give more DPS boost than any other stats in the game including crit, power, and main stats. And that is not balanced. I strongly doubt BW will break the balance between stats.
  12. I would love to have Undying Rage do nothing but only to give Hydraulic Override effect like the one Jugs got. lol
  13. Blind Barriers, Overload root, and slows can all be countered by Endure alone, that is how powerful it is. Same against Mercs, one Endure can counter all of the kitting abilities, except stun and mez. But then they can easily catch up after stun and mez comes off.
  14. Actually, a good Jug may just be impossible to kite. They have: - Cooldown reduction on Force Charge. Force Charge cooldown is effectively 9s if he is constantly being hit (Doted). - Endure, the Jug version Hydraulic Override. 10s for DPS spec. 20s for Tank spec! - Force Push + Force Charge. - Unstoppable with Force Charge and Ravage root if Vengeance spec. A second 10m leap if Rage spec. 10m Force Choke stun if Tank spec. - 8m AoE Snare, another 10m snare with Force Crush if Rage spec. - Saber Throw 3s Root. - Saber Reflect if caught under attack while running towards target. - Enrage Defense for second life, if things really get bad. On top of all that, Force Charge, Enrage, and Saber Throw can reset when get out of combat. So a Jugg will never be caught without his cooldowns for the next battle! And by the time, the Jug runs out of gap closer techniques, he will be white bar. Jug will be the new melee king, regardless of spec. The only range that can stand a good chance vs Jugs will be Snipers, because they are getting so much defensive utilities that they can face tank for a while.
  15. Jugs get their own version of Hydraulic Override. They will have no problem keeping up with range. I wish I could say the same for Carnage Marauders. lol
  16. Well, the game changes and we have to adapt with it. Remember classic SWTOR when Anni was the spec and Carnage was crap? Well, now Fury will be the spec and Carnage got crap again... I am not happy about it either. But it does seem like the nature of MMO to rotate power to different classes and specs over time.
  17. Fury actually got buff with the ability to build stacks before combat, and root break Camou. Their new burst attack is also 10m range. Fury will be more than fine in PvP. Same can be said for Anni, although Fury benefit more. Only Carnage got gut in PvP. So RIP Carnage. But not RIP Marauders. And definitely not RIP Melee. If you seen the stuff Juggs are getting, you know that they will be able to keep up with any range or melee of any spec in 3.0.
  18. You want to use Raging burst before Smash because Raging burst puts a Overwhelm debuff on the target, which will make it take more AoE damage from Smash.
  19. People are upset mainly for Carnage for PvP reasons. PvE wise Sent/Mara are still fine. So were you testing in a WZ? And how skilled were your opponents? And were you using Carnage? The thing is that Carnage by itself didn't get change much, but every other classes, especially ranged and healers, got strong buffs in mobility and survival. So the same old Carnage won't be able to keep up with the 3.0 ranged and healers. It is a nerf to Carnage in Meta-PvP. Fury is still more than fine in PvP. I would say Fury got buffed even because they will have access to Carnage's mobility and its new burst attack is 10m range.
  20. Cyclone Slash buff is mainly for PvE. Anyone who does Nightmare Ops will understand that this buff will help a lot on many Nightmare boss fights. While Carnage/ Combat PvP did get hardcore nerf, please don't bash Cyclone Slash buff.
  21. You left out that Gore no longer has cooldown reset or cooldown reduction, except with alacrity during Berserk. Gore got nerfed hard anyway you look at it.
  22. No one is over reacting. Any seasoned PvPers can see how easy it will be to shut down Marauders in 3.0 with CC and kiting. Information on all the specs are already there, and they are consistent with what BW officially showed so far. You can find them with google search. PvE, they are still fine. So if you don't PvP, you have nothing to worry about.
  23. Not true. Guardians/Juggs will be getting more gap closer and speed boost. They will have no problem keeping up with range. And they still have saber reflect if they are caught off guard.
  24. Actually Cyclone slash buff is needed for PvE. There are a lot of op bosses which spawn a lot of weak adds that need to be taken down quickly during the fight. But the PvP aspect of Combat/Carnage did get screwed hard.
