  1. So, what exactly was this serious economic exploit? Could it be that the lvl 50 orange elegant Blaster Pistol crafted with Armstech only required grade 2 materials? Anyone got an idea?
  2. Yes please, let me buy the battlemaster gear with my old BM comms. The Baradium material is just completely useless atm for me and its even bop. I saved up BM tokens in the hope that I might be able to get more out of em than the BM gear. Now Im stuck with 13 BM tokens and missing 2 BM pieces of the field medic set that I need when I'm to upgrade to War Hero, which I now need because of the expertise change. Having to spend 1000 wz comms on the BM gear when I could have had it (which I do feel I deserve) is just stupid. Please let me choose to buy the old BM gear with the old BM tokens again. Pretty please with sugar on top
  3. I'm sorry, but people saying that they have unsubbed because of the changes to healing just seem delusional. Healing classes were rebalanced to give all healers similar performance quality overall, thus the op/scoundrel buff. The system for medals are now far more generous for healers than it was before the patch. I will however agree that tank/dps are still sligtly favored in pvp gains, but less so than before. Day one of the patch I actually had a problem with too many healers in my warzones rather than too few. The battles were longer but these 20 games may ofc not be representable for everyone I realize that. I'm a scoundrel healer so I know I'm slightly biased, but I am for once able to consistantly top the medal score in decent games, something I could almost never do before. From my point of view people need to let the changes sink in abit and adjust their playstyle, and reflect on wether or not their class was abit too good before the patch.
  4. RAGE! Staff more people! Get people in on temporary contracts or whatever. It has been clear all they way with this game that the team is nowhere near big enough. None of the departments seem to be. Information like this just seems unprofessional and forced out of some intense struggle to make a deadline, then discovering you dont have enough time in the last second. Your team needs more love before you can make this game what it should be
  5. MERGE! Wall of text Wall of text Wall of text Wall of text Wall of text Wall of text Wall of text Wall of text Wall of text TL:DR: MERGE!
  6. I sometimes can be frustrated out of my mind about the tank-assasins speeding off with the hutball, then being pulled to the goal line, or myself being pulled back into the fire as I am about to score. But it is relly just a different kind of wz that requires different strats and more teamwork between afew "ball escorters / handlers". Change the tactics to match the classes on your team. I as a stealther can also be pretty handy when stealthing towards the goalline and then catching the ball as I unstealth when it is thrown. I dont like the idea of death matches. To me it seems like its just gonna be either really defensive/camp teams who picks off a weak target when the oppertunities arrive, or really balls to the wall hardcore dps monsters completely crushing the opposition. I cannot see a warzone like this being enjoyable for more than one of the teams. It will lead to allot of hostility internaly on teams aswell if people are not carefull enough and gets killed.
  7. Point capping and interuption features should be as they are imo. It's unreasonable for a ranged dps to have to purposely go into melee range to interupt a cap, and then not even have their magic aoe ability stop a cap. It would make melee classes overpowered in these warzones, as they could just get to killing the ranged dps'ers right away. Besides, most melee classes have some sort of gap closer or way to snare or whatnot to get in close to people. Some healers can be quite impossible to kill sometimes I agree, especially when guarded. If I'm not mistaken most healing classes are getting slight nerfs in 1.2 (appart from scoundrels/operatives thank god) Having greater ranged misschance would also require a complete rebalancing of every class in the game, including melees wich would have to be nerfed.
  8. They are quite often preventing people from getting there before the game starts. It really gimps the whole game if 1/3 of the team cant get there on time.
  9. I they left after a few days complaining about the pvp, then thats a pretty bad excuse. They should be leveling and experiencing the great voice-acted questlines of this game at that stage. They should also know not to judge the pvp system based on low level combat and little experience.
  10. I picked scoundrel and I've been loving it all the way. Both healing and dps parts. The stationary playstyle of the gunslinger, having to bunker down and pray you'll be left alone to do your optimal rotation never appealed to me. Then again I have not played gunslinger myself. Seemed much less exciting to me.
  11. They should move the standard patch times by 4 hours imo. EU primetime doesnt begin until 6 pm anyways, its still morning in the us and oceania its just past primetime
  12. My biggest wants: 1. Server mergers - I know you are working on transfers, but number of servers should be cut 2. Please bring back Ilum as fast as possible. Nerf wz valor or buff Ilum gains ALLOT. 3. Fix tab targeting - I don't yet trust that your 1.2 "smarter" system is prefect 4. Social, fun, engaging competitions in easily available areas. Like at fleet or one elevator away 5. To have groups stay groups when doing warzones - You have said this is coming
  13. From what I've gathered: They are nerfing the instant killing ability. By adding new cooldowns and increasing energy efficiency they seem to facilitate more sustained damage, solving problems with whining from other classes about being instant killed and whining by scrappers that they have no dps after the initial burst. Ofc this mean whining about our burst being gimped. The best scoundrel spec to me has to be Sawbones. They are buffing Kolto Cloud and adding the ability to maintain 3 stacks of Upper Hand, wich makes it allot easier to maintain 1 stack up all times to maintain the healing buff in addition to having more emergency heal ability. 1.2 is good for healers, meh for scrappers. Stole your signature Desu
  14. The really sad thing is that those who quit because of this are very unlikely to return since this is a subscription mmo. Once the damage is done, its most often permanent. The longer it takes to fix this, the more damage is done. People are disappearing fast. That is why this is so urgent and should take priority over game bugs, tweeks and additional operations. Winter is coming, GW2 looms
  15. To be honest I don't really see the benefit or charm of a small population server after the leveling prosess, but I do agree that a cross-realm grouping system for operations, flashpoints, warzones etc, would help allot if merging the servers prooved too complicated a task. Perhaps they could even do the same for Ilum. Make it a shared instance between servers in the same server group. And while we are at it, this could even theoretically work well for the galactic trade network. Of course I dont know the complexity of doing all this, but they are at the very least alternatives for working around the issues the legacy system brings.
  16. They have said they are working on mergers, but that it is some way off because of complications due to the legacy system. All I am saying is that they need to devote more resources into solving this and place it at higher priority. As for the warzones, I can accept the argument about them not being satisfied with its current state and make the quests completable through other means, but I have a bigger problem with the massive boost to valor gain in warzones at the same time. This completely removes the insentives of doing world pvp in Ilum. Alternatives for objective completion when those objectives might be unbalanced is fine, completely abolishing insentives for non-warzone pvp as a whole is not.
  17. I for one never called out for more servers, and you sound like you are still in a leveling process and are playing the game more or less as a single player game. The questing part of this game is great, but at the end game stage you need communities to keep you interested, and you need people to join when you want to do either instanses, warzones or world pvp.
  18. Dear developers As is indisputable, the greatest subscription-killer of all is the lack of people to interact with. People to even attempt to venture most parts of this game with. This is turning into a single player game. A game virtually ending post leveling. The one thing that will make the greatest impact on the survival chance of this as a profitable mmo is to ensure peoples opportunity to interact. Before you deal with ANY other issue in this game, this, imo, needs to be the top priority. Work on systems to make mergers or free transfers from, and to, specific servers possible. NOTHING else will have anywhere near the same impact. The thing that still made this game enjoyable even after the number of players started to plummet, was the fact that I am in the largest guild on my server and we still managed to form a full raidgroup to fight the sith together in Ilum. Both the imps and other reps loved us for it. The empire now actually had an opponent that could beat them in large scale encounters. No other rep guild on our server managed to reach anywhere near our numbers because of lack of players. This was the only thing that bound the relative few left of us together. Now that the Ilum daily objectives can be gained in Warzone + the fact that you now get rediculous amounts of valor there this is no longer possible. Noone bothers to go to Ilum anymore. There are no epic mass fights any longer. There is no reason to join together against the great enemy. There is less reason, less joy gained from playing. The community is dying! There is no longer a community at all to speak of. There has to be mergers, there needs to be max limits by factions on pvp servers. Ilum needs greater honor rewards and have kills count more reliably and more frequent. From the view of a pvp server, all else is secondary. All else is irrelevant. Thank you for reading Railgun - Niman - The Immortals
  19. Due to the shotgun I would have to agree. Feels good every time I fire it
  20. Completely agree with nix. Theres no problems killing stuff as a scoundrel after lvl 40. Didnt have much trouble before that either. You can even vanish and open up on the rest of the mobs later if you need. As for pvp, scrapper works excellent pre 50. I was Centurion at lvl 48 and I had allot of nice games along the way. Just dont expect to 1 on 1 a 50 everytime you try. And always focus 1 person and try and restelth after the kill before going after a second person. Opening from anything else than stealth is not supposed to work out well.
