  1. Im playing this Till GW2, i have been playing the Betas and man that Game is GOOD. The thing is i dont think the subscription metod works, I Prefer the Guy to play with cosmetic microtrasactions. Still Tor is a good game and i'll play it for a long, time.
  2. This ^. there is a reason for them to change it. Because there is not enogh market in most servers, if you want to RP-you sell it to a Empire/Repiblic Company front that actualy works for the oposite faction. And lets remember it works both ways. You can buy their cool stuff to.
  3. Ill say Switch to Watchman till level 45+ then try them both, i personaly like Combat better, but Watchman is better it deals more damage hands down, not by much but is better.
  4. Who says Combat is easier? I don’t get what they are talking about. My rotation with Watchman is brain dead. All I need to think is where I upload my Burns. For combat to be easier there should be a couple of changes. Precision slash should be changed to be the exact same thing to Overload. A standard buff that last X numbers of attacks. Zen should last longer. Personally in PVP I never use Zen as combat 1 because it usually end before I manage to do a 5 string of hits, and the Group Speed buff is so much better. To actually use it you need your target to stay still and take it like a man and that never happens, and in PVE the burst damage is not that big. Ataru form is also kind of feat depending and it doesn’t feel that powerful. Let’s recap them. Ataru- one point to gain it. +3% accuracy and 20% chance to do some extra damage. Ataru mastery- 2 points so the proc deals 30% more damage. Defensive forms- 2 points to gain 15% movement speed. Opportune Attack-2 points to gain 10% more damage when Ataru procs. Combat trance-1 point to gain 1 focus every 6 seconds when Ataru procs. Immaculate Force-2 points to deal auto Crit with cyclone slash during Combat trance. Blade Rush-1 point to gain a sure proc of ataru. So with 1+2+2+2+1+2+1=11 points to gain this is something underwhelming and that if you don’t have Blade Rush you can’t keep it at 100% of the time. The speed is ok, but usually y never notice it, and when I'm rooted or slowed it’s lost. The Accuracy 3% is some what low. It super gear dependency and I need to be min max everything to use it at it maximum potential. After that all other stuff needs a proc, I gain tons of stuff but needs the proc. and you dont get the proc till level 40 and once you gain blade rush and the 20% turns into a 100% everithing makes sense. But for some one leveling up is kind of I’m wasting 7 points to gain stuff that happens on a proc of 20% chance. I just feel that combat as the theorical PvP tree to deal the maximum damage it needs long strings that cannot be considered burst damage. A string of 5 attacks is long enough. For example for me As a Watchman rotation can be Leap, Overload, Zeal, Cauterize (zen), Merciless, and see. Easy damage from the burns of Overload Saber and Cauterize and merciless. And if I have Zen I do even more damage and I get some healing. For a Combat Leap, Zeal, Precision Slash, Blade Rush, Blade Storm. And you know what I do more damage with the 3 hits from form Watchman that the 4 of Combat. Also dots are better considering and hectic word of PvP, where and root, can make me miss the precious damage bust granted by precision slash. Cauterize in PvP can Slow my target in Combat I need to use another Skill to CC that increases my string to do damage lowering my chance to do spike damage. I’m saying its not exiting leveling up with Combat, I’m saying right now, Watchman has more sustained DPS, and their short burst DPS is easier to do and safer that’s why I chose ir for pvp and pve. I want to remember what was the selling point of Combat, over the other two trees and I don’t find it.
  5. All i know, is more options is usualy always better! And I will use it . MMO tend to focus players in sertain given roles: If you PvP, if you raird, if you solo, All those instances have specific builds are better than other, and the MMO players are perfectionist, Powerplayers, competivite. And knowing that giving them the option to not sufer much from changing what they want to do while playing is always good. There are players that only pvp,solo or raid, and then the rest that want to do a little of everithing depending on their mood. and for those this ficture is nesesary.
  6. Personaly i dont get why poeple hack in a game, i meen people selling hacks i get them, they are making a living. but players man, if you sucks, then suck! loose, and loose and loose there is nothing wrong with it! but come on! dont hack the game, dont cheat, specialy if is not for money! lol!
  7. Personally there are a lot of moves names and Animations that don’t fit with the skill or with the purpose of the skill. That why I want to know the opinions of every one of how you would like them changed. And why? Moves like: -Pommel strike: come on an attack that you do when some one is stunned it’s a pommel strike? And its one of the most damaging moves you have its super restrictive and it’s a pommel strike. Change the name to something more deadlier or cool, and the animation with it. -DW Master Strike: the animation feels weak and slow, I would prefer the sith warrior one. I don’t know doing the spin thing and then doing the slow I will slash you it doesn’t work with the dual wilding. -Dispatch: for me it should have force push animation with a big force blast when it hits or I levitate mi 2 lightsable and lunch them lime missiles to the target. There are many more but ill stop here just to start the conversation.

  9. yeah that might be good, or also from the legacy tab you could work all your other toons crew skills, that also could be grate for me. Ither way managin your crafting with out needing to log into your toon is good.

  11. it could be fun, But 8 vs 8 no Fixed teams. Each team pics what thinks is best, and then i want them to talk about game balance!
  12. Personaly and this is just me the sistem should be Revamped in two separeted things. 1º Salvatage, where you destroy Any items to gain Raw materials. With salvate you can have a flat chance to get rare materials and stuff like that. 2º Investigate, In that tab a new inventory with up to 5 slots its open, whre you drop any item to investigate and depending of the numbers of the same item you drop, it improves the chances, up to 99%. crafting 5 stuff with rare items, should be enogh to reach the next T1. With a flat Chance you can have bad luck because a 80% failure chance is big. ill never ever bet in something that i have such big failure chance. So if it was me ill love they revamp the RE sistem
  13. I know how you feel, my high level characters provides for his family, in the end, all the money comes from your main toon. so yes, for all legacy stuff should be acount baced. I personaly hate the idea of This Cash sinks. You should hire a economist, and let him handle the economy, With taxes, state of wellfare, etc.and Maybe a Max amount of Money any single Account can have, how much money can you win in game per day/month, you can still make menoy playing the market but you dont get new money from mobs or quests, restrictions to prevent that the prices trops, or that some items prices goes to the roof because of the low offer and the amount of money any single player can have. But thats another issue.
  14. Personaly i want to be able to full group with companions. But thats just me.
  15. This is an idea that i suport. Also a exponential point gain for a good play. For example If you pass the ball, then 10 seconds later there is another pass, then 10 seoconds later is another pass back to you 10 seconds later you score. That should grant more points to the participants of the play . Also the numbers of passes before an anotation should also increases your points. for the hole team. In the end i would want to be rewarded for "good plays".
  16. That’s an excellent idea Unicorn points so we can buy everything! As long as it makes you mad, then it should be implemented, lol. Back on topic, what are social Points? Ask yourself that? Is something to encourage players to play with other players? For me, it is, and I do want more ways to gain social points, and one of the new ways should be playing with other people in PvP. It’s a social act; therefore it should grant you social points. Personally I feel the puritist mind set (this is PvP, this is PvE, you should not get access to my carrot because you play some other aspect of the same game, is restrictive, it’s unfriendly and narrow minded. My posture is same play time should get you access to all the content. Raid with PvP gear, PvP with Raid gear, PvP gives you social points, etc. But that’s just me, A PvPer that likes to social PvE and RP.

See thats where you and me disagree, lets say some one has 8 alts, level 30 each, each of them played all the time grouped and each of them is level 2-3. maybe you and that guy played the same amount of time, but because he loves to do other kind of playing. To get all of them to level 10 is like you sayed a pain. So stop thinking that your in game acomplishments meen less beacuse some one else had it easier. Even then they could add more social levels. more social rewards (medium and heavy social armors). In the end, I hope they do change it, because its something done to encourage social playing, and knowing that all you social play contribute to the overall level, is grate. also there was another sugesting a couple days ago, about other ways to increse you social points, like pvp, helping other players, just grouping, etc. It all has to work so each player feel encouraged to play with people istead of solo.

  20. Yeah, I'll love that my ranks are all tied to my legacy; Social points, comendations, etc. perosnaly ill love it, lets hope they can implement it soon.
  21. The companion idea needs a Change or an extensive Expansion. First they are underused, second, most of the time, you only take one companion and mostly is not for their story or how cool you think they are usually is because their roll in the battle (heals, DPS, Tank). I love the feeling when I and my crew feel like a team. Personally ill love if I could deploy in normal PvE up to 3 companions to have a full group always running with me. Buff a little the normal mobs and that’s it, an instant balance for group of four, so normal PvE doesn’t feel like piece of cake when you group up with a friend, and is still has some small challenge. The content that needs 2-4 players is the same, because lets face it, AI will never be as useful as another player, specially if there is stuff a player needs to notice so the mission quest etc works out. the idea to send all your team in a solo mission where you create a plan and you send them to each one do their job, and then fight you and 3 companions a epic boss sounds as a the first Kotor. Also depending of different factors it could be cool to change their roll in the battlefield. Of course you can only do it, like once a week, with a some what high cost. Turn a healer companion into a tank companion; turn the tank companion into a DPS or Healer. So you can experience the game with the companion you want and not the companion you think makes the gameplay experience easier.
  22. Yeah merging servers is the anser, or if they dont want to manage all the transfers for people that are not curently playing, when the tranfers come, they should recomend Servers, and block you to join servers with lowest population. its for your own good!
