  1. Lol Musco. Have you ever seen him play on the stream? He's so dedicated to playing his operative he does his "weekly" stream every 3 weeks, he's like lvl 15, and hasn't played his operative offstream long enough to even arrange the skills on his hot bars. It's like watching twitch plays pokemon.
  2. Lol sorry was a little bit of sarcasm, I figured the absurd idea of someone dying within a 4 sec stun with bolster was enough to not need to bracket with /sarcasm. If you look around you can see people still whining about op cc and pretend it happened to them though.
  3. Nice video as always Snave. Bads or not you have some real skill, would love to see what you could do with a real class. I bet you could do some really naughty things with a deception sin, lightning sorc or just about anything with some DCD's.
  4. Those other classes aren't overpowered like scoundrels/ops though. Ops have 1 hard stun! They stunlock people to death all the time. And sure the bugged roll makes me need to leave warzones if i do something stupid like use it as a gap closer, but it also gives me around 100 cartel coins every time it bugs out like that. Don't believe me? Check your CC the next time it happens to you, I've gotten at least 5000 CC from it. Why do you think you see ops rolling all over the place so much? Sorry to my fellow ops, I just couldn't keep it a secret any longer. To the rest of you *********** turrets whining about roll, it's hilarious. If you have a real issue keeping a target within 30m radius while staying out of their 4m radius I have an idea, move once in awhile. This isn't SWTOR tower defense quite yet, give them time to eliminate pushback/interrupts all together then maybe you can whine away those overpowered structures that block your line of sight.
  5. Lol do they even play the game? My theory is that a week out of every 2 months all 3-4 of them group up to read the list of "top issues" harvested from the forums by the cms, squat and crap out a patch, pop it on the ptr and then go back to their other projects/recoloring stuff to sell on the cartel market. Unless there is enough outcry from enough people on the forums, the patch is pretty much never touched again until their week comes back around to work on the game.
  6. No offense Vid but if your operative is still only lvl 51 you're playing a different game when it comes to WZ's. Some amazing things happen in lowbie bracket with such a big level spread, winning 1v3's etc kind of stops at 55 unless you get really lucky on opponents. These devs don't have much dialogue with their players and they really haven't since the initial beta period, it's like as soon as the boxes sold they put on the cruise control. Every once in awhile they pop on and give a bunch of excuses about why they can't do this or that. Every time they make any kind of a statement to the operative community it is so full of ignorance about operatives that you really are better off not hearing from them. The logic behind their design decision has nothing to do with how operatives play and everything to do with how it feels to get pushed down and stabbed in a warzone when you're trying to turret on your unshielded sage. Anyone who remembers Zoeller's teams of operatives statement can vouch for this. It's easier if you picture this as an online store with some games on the front page. The game is really to give you something to do while you're shopping, the design focus is all on the store and funneling traffic to it. The content patch is just more categories of stuff to buy on the store. Bottom line, they aren't going to spend any more money on this game, you are.
  7. It's still a garbage patch from a garbage dev team. I can honestly say I haven't seen a game mismanaged this badly since warhammer online. They're working towards removing pushback and interrupts from the game in response to ranged thinking they have to play as turrets. It's easier to 1v2 on my sin than 1v1 on my Op most of the time. Ranged that knew how to kite were a real nightmare before this patch, it's pretty unreasonable now. Ops used to get the easy opener with a combined damage/knockdown ability, sins got the easy closer with assassinate and a reliable double autocrit, changing 1 and not the other makes no sense to me. Leaving us with 1 hard stun is beyond stupid without at least giving us dcd's and a finisher to make up for losing our opener. The new huttball should be renamed to tower defense, get your turrets set up and pew pew at the fools that have to move around to play the game.
  8. I'm neither emotional nor irrational so that makes you wrong. I'm guessing you're used to that though.
  9. Because rational discussions have been going on since release with hardly any input or action from the devs, now it's just a running joke and any chance to voice frustration is a good one. The dev team that was so responsive in beta sold out. Every question about adding features, fixing bugs or changing the game are answered with yet another way of saying "we aren't going to spend any more money on this game, you are." Point is, no matter the content or approach someone takes to address questions or feedback to the devs it's dismissed out of hand unless it's a feature that can be added to the cartel market for direct profit.
  10. Have faith, this is all just a prelude to the new imperial agent class, Real Estate Agent.
  11. That would explain the shrinking population. Sure glad my space mansion is nice and warm. Not sure how much longer BW will be able to afford to heat it but I can afford heated underwear with all the CC I don't need to spend on housing.
  12. It's more of a time share really but Fleet 2 after like 2AM is all mine. Occasionally 2-3 people are late leaving but for the most part I can sit around there in my underwear; reading about upcoming games while waiting for PvP queues to pop. It's all kind of Zen and it didn't cost me a dime.

    Stun glitch?

Has happened to me in huttball, civil war and hypergate too. Only way to avoid it is to not use it as a gap closer unless you know 100% for sure knockback is down. Trying to use it offensively obviously isn't intended. Any decent player with good ping and a knockback can exploit it. I bet if roll was bugged and gave cartel coins every time you used it they'd figure it out. As is, not worth their time.

    Stun glitch?

Never been snared/rooted/stunned by someone and had them run away instead of instantly blowing knockback so they can stand in the same spot and turret? Never seen someone use knockback on someone running/rolling the ball to the goal line? Wow what server is that? Sounds like a fun place to play any melee. Fixing is too hard lol, maybe EA/BW should find something they're capable of instead. Maybe an online store or something, then they can spend all their time selling crap and not have to be stumped all the time with this pesky game design.

    Stun glitch?

It's a bug with roll that can be exploited by any half decent player. If you get knocked back or down while rolling you end up perma-rooted for the rest of the match. Essentially any time you use roll as a gap closer vs a class with a knockback you run the risk of needing to leave the wz early. Been ignored for well over a year, must be working as intended.
  16. Comparing stealth classes is apples to apples, sins have actual DCD's, more CC, better burst and arguably better utility if they use their taunts vs an operative's 2.5 sec channeled heals. Yeah we have different skills, I would love to see your reaction if they turned maul into hidden strike, complete with knockdown, ~15% less dmg, 9 sec timer and stealth requirement to use. Bottom line if operatives, the softest target in PvP, should only have 2 roots, 1 hard stun, 1 interrupt (that is going to work less and less often with each patch it seems) and 1 mez then what should sins have for cc when they're top 3-4 for DCD's? It's a valid topic of discussion with the current trend of sweeping melee nerfs and ranged buffs it seems like they've forgotten you.
  17. 1. Has more than 5-6 buttons allowed unlike most every MMO that has come out since SWTOR. 2. Has skill trees, WoW lost me when they reduced down to 6 skill points on the release of pandacraft. 3. There are still enough people playing that you can log in at most any hour and find a match. All of this is moot as soon as a game comes out without limited action bars, complex skill trees, some population and an engine that makes actions feel like actions instead of suggestions.

    Operative DPS OP!

First they said nothing about conceal/scrapper trees specifically, so I wouldn't get too excited. Your first vid shows cuts of a skilled player vs mostly bad players. That first scoundrel in that vid was so bad I'm not sure if it was a bot or not. For your bottom 2 videos to happen again BW would have to: 1. re-introduce adrenal/relic/wz buff stacking 2. remove the cooldown from hidden strike 3. reverse the damage nerf to hidden strike/backstab 4. put acid blade's armor pen back to 50%? or was it 55% 5. reverse the surge and crit rating cap changes 6. remove bolster from 55 warzones so there would be low expertise people again I don't understand why people are still so scared of conceal operatives it's pretty much the definition of glass cannon and when treated as such it explodes in a fine brown mist. Anyway, continue on with the ermagerd teh skies are falling, it's funnier than finding an unshielded sage.
  19. Noticing the same things. The hours that warzones pop are getting narrower and narrower, the number of warzones running at any given time are now a fraction of what used to be, guilds have been recruiting since launch to try to maintain a raid force and other guilds merging to be able to pve as well. EA setting new records in failing mmo's, and I thought warhammer was bad. As a non biochem it's not even worth using a stim for pvp anymore, there aren't enough warzone pops to even pay for it. I'm here until I have to log in and wait 30-40 min to play then I'm gone, at this rate that will be before the free month is up.
  20. Here's an idea, figure out how to make PTS work as an actual test server instead of throwing your **** on live for testing. All of these issues were on the PTS forums well before this patch went live but nothing was done probably because of the sample size or just pure laziness. So sick of your paid beta model, having a PTS that doesn't contribute anything is the same as not having a PTS at all.
  21. Just a thought here, we have no way to tell which parses are with biochem and other consumables. That can seriously skew results of 3-4 minute parses.
  22. #1 DAOC before the 8v8 craze. I really loved the massive keep battles/relic raids even though the engine couldn't really support so many people. Being able to min max crafted gear was great, leveling artifacts was not. *edit* I should mention that the immersion from the legend based lore and story line was epic and well thought out. I would be all over DAOC 2 if EA wasn't involved. #2 AOC before it's demise, gem stacking was hilarious but that and lack of an auction house killed it before it's time. #3 Wow pre-BC was pretty fun too even if the pvp was pointless if you raided. Arenas kind of ruined it for me, I'm a pretty solitary individual but enjoy the rush of massive scale pvp. I've played every major game except Lineage I and II when it comes to pay to play but I was a carebear until I played DAOC.
  23. I wouldn't get my hopes up for 1.3. The silence about any of our issues beyond gross statements of ignorance tells me they really don't have an interest in the class beyond making sure it doesn't have any pvp impact on the more popular classes. My guess is 1.5 before we come back around to being upper tier. We're not destroyed, it's just other classes can do what we do better, there's just no real niche for conceal anymore.
  24. If they can fix the getting booted to char select and other bugs that cause you to get kicked I would be all for a 30 min penalty. I've been perma cc'd on revive and been just kicked back to fleet for no reason, haven't seen it since patch but I haven't been able to put much time in. Also not a fan of kick voting unless there is a way to keep premade groups from griefing people. The current system encourages leaving if you're losing and I can't express how sick I am of getting into a match that's 2 minutes from losing. About half of the warzones I enter are actually fresh warzones, the other half are already lost before I get there.
  25. There is so little survivability even with 1021 expertise it's pretty hard to get a feel for PvP effectiveness atm. If there are healers around I can pull 300-350k dmg but if there aren't I spend as much time running back from the respawn as anything. It's not like I expect to win a fight with 2-3 people focusing me but I really think I should be more than a 5-6 second speed bump and I don't think 2-300 more expertise is going to fix that. I'm not sure what planets would have to align for me to get a 5k backstab off, I have only seen HS hit for that much twice since the 1.1.5? patch and it was the night before 1.2 on a 12k hp sorc, but most people left on my server are pretty geared and I'm not biochem. I'm just not a big fan of using consumables to compete and was doing ok before this patch, nearly always top damage. It just seems like we're being balanced around their constant use now so we have people saying everything is fine and people saying we're broken.
