  1. The emps are getting 2-3x more rewards from illum kills, and ranking up faster. This is just complete nonsense. Just stop the server and change illum. Now we as republic get to fight battlemasters all over the place. This is just plain stupid. I seriously think even at this point it is unfixable. Giving them a such a great lead from only a day of farming, and YOUR LETTING THEM KEEP IT. ***! Half my guild unsubbed, and you just lost the pvp crowd.

  3. Edited: I got bad luck, new system will not change that. 3 coms to buy weapons will take a long time for people with bad luck. This creates a gear advantage to lucky people. That is all I am going to say.
  4. I have opened a million champ bags - 50+ now, and have pretty much full centurion gear. There are people 35 plus valor levels lower than me with full champ gear. I get coms after coms after coms. I hate this system. You wanna know how many battlemaster coms I will get? Big fat 0, because my luck sucks. Broken system is broken, screw the new system. Saving multiple coms, 3 for a weapon from what I am seeing, is completely bogus. I am a couple levels away from 60 and I am still using a pos orange weapon. It is just one more way people get screwed when others get lucky and have full gear.

  6. Dude, I am sick of being put into warzones with a bunch of level 10 - 20s against a 50 premade. Sorry bro, blame bioware. I leave when I see I am the only 50 in a warfront.
  7. I have opened 50+ bags and have 4 pieces and a million dupes. I have pretty much full cent gear. My weapon sucks, and am extremely pissed when I see rank 20s with full gear. It is plain stupid. My gf just hit 50 and did her weeklies and such over a few days. She opened 16 bags total, and now she has 4 pieces including main and offhand. The flawed gear system and ability lag are making my melee experience a complete nightmare.
  8. Huh? Dude no class has an option to get out of CC when your CC breaker is down. This includes being able to put up defensive cooldowns. You obviously know nothing if you you think other classes can miraculously use cooldowns while being stunned. But I totally dig your non existant counter argument about me crying. Does it make your epeen a little bigger? Did it make you feel superior in intellect? All I see is someone who needs to spout nonsense to make themselves feel better. I got an idea, why don't you tell me what you would do in this situation if your cc break was on cd? Resolve is not good enough of a DR system. Edit: What is more, do to the ability lag I talked about on my first post. Using a cooldown is not always and option, even if I could... I have had many occasions where after striking my key for a ced for more than 2-3 gcds it has not gone off.
  9. Notice I added an edit to the op and removed the 3rd entry about being pulled, as it cheapened the argument about 1. Ability delay is something that we need to be vocal about. Arguing for several pages about a lesser issue completely ruins what I am trying to do.
  10. What? 1 if I am stunned I cannot leap, 2 I am a sentinel I cannot push, and 3 the CC trinket is on LONG cooldown. Using your cooldown that takes away half your hp to mitigate acid is still taking a ton of damage. You should really learn other classes before making yourself look like you know little.
  11. I am not a fan of being not being in control of my character, as this removes the skill from pvp. I always position myself not to be knockbacked, but you cannot do the same when being pulls. Also I agree, animation studdering and lag is the worst. The others are miniscule QQ, but everyone can agree on the animations and lag problems.
  12. I am a sentinel, and cannot push people into anything. Also knocking someone into hazards is different since you cannot control it. Pulling someone into acid is controllable. You just stand on the rim and it pulls them in every time. That is a problem. Pulls need to build a lot of resolve, to keep people from being able to stun after pulling. Edit: I am not a fun of not being in control of my character. This pulls the skill out of pvp.
  13. 1) Ability lag - My attacks studder and do not go off in "every" fight, on "every" target. It is ridiculous. Melee have it worse than range on this due to people kiting outside of melee while we are trying to get abilities to go off. My defensive cds not going off after 10 plus presses of my keybunds have caused me to die way more times than I can count. This also includes interrupts. I will trying to pull off a clutch interrupt on a healer, and it will not go off till after they complete their cast and heal up, and my cd is wasted because it goes off late. This kills melee dps on moving targets, and should never have made it through beta. I am not sure what the testers and devs were doing in beta, but it was prolly some carebear nonsense. 2) Slows not properly applying on force leap. When I leap to somebody and I am stuck in the animation and they take off running, how the heck am I supposed to put my slow on them. This causes a lot of number 1) to happen. There is a common misconception that melee is underpowered, but we are not. A lot of problems are from ability lag. The fact that we take more damage and CC being melee, coupled with ability lag in melee range is the issue. Most of these issues I know are Jedi knight and sith warrior. God imagine how broken op and scouns are going to get when they fix lag... Geesh Edit: removed point 3 as it cheapens the arguments on point 1 and 2.

  15. man that is ridiculous, I do not think it is possible for a sentinel to do this kind of damage single target. Melee with no stealth for the lose.
  16. I actually posted this a few threads down. This is the first game I think I have played where a skill does less than the tooltip, usually it does more. Kinda strange. I need to go back and see if I see an offhand hit when I use merciless slash. I am not sure I do. Will check tomorrow. All of our skills do less than the tooltip, not just mercy slash. I will look more in depth at it tomorrow, and it would be nice to get some of our more savvy ppl on it too.
  17. I am not claiming to be super awesome. I am good, but I have no "ranked" status in any game besides halo. I am stating the people in my guild do have ranked status. They are seeing the same delay issues that others and myself are seeing. While my statement was not nice, it mostly stems from most not actually understanding, or properly replicating the bugs. I urge you all to roll a sentinel, the class I play, and do our off global, and attempt to use another ability right after. I am positive you will notice the failed skill usage and stuttering. I have heard gunslingers going to cover and using abilities are also an issue. also, In a warfront, if you tab quickly and charge or heal to fast, it will heal the previous target instead of the newest. These issues are not some smoke and mirror show that the op and the rest of us pulled from a hat. They are very real, and very widespread. Some of our guild was not able to pinpoint what was wrong with combat till it was brought up, but they knew something was wrong. As soon as it was pointed out to them, they saw it, and know it it impossible to go back to being oblivious. Sorry for being mean, I should have been nicer... but this is how it is. You are right, forums in general could use a "nicer" more comrade style tone. Edit: The "nay say bunch" are the fanbois acting like there is no issue, not the people in agreement. I think some of you misunderstood.

  19. You are wrong. The entire guild I am in has mmo gamers of 5+ years. Most were top ranked in arenas, and they all have this problem. Most seriously are thinking of quitting. I can honestly say, most of you nay say bunch... well you are slow, and have terrible reaction times.
  20. I am using merciless slash, the tooltip says 1304-1486, but I never hit this hard in pve. I am used to, in other mmos, always hitting harder than the tooltip due to increased power and weapon damage. I never usually hit lower, it felt off. So I look at slash, and its tooltip, and I hit lower with that skill too. I am confused, does enemy armor mitigate this much, or is our damage calculated all wrong? Can someone else test this? edit: it actually appears that the tooltip updates to your power rating, but this still does not explain hitting lower than the damage range in the tooltip. This is not a QQ post, I am just trying to understand how it works in this game.
  21. Doesn't saber throw also build focus? I think I would give the edge to guardian focus specs. The tree feels built for them.
  22. I often find the times I wish it cost less, is in warzones. 5 is just a lot to build when trying to burn ppl down. Luckily watchman builds energy faster, but it still feels a little steep.
  23. Focus is better as a guardian. They have a talent that makes sweep do 30percent more damage, put up higher numbers, and wear heavy armor. Focus specced guardians are better than focus specced sents, just how it is.
