Considering what? They met their character transfer deadline (early summer) so why would we believe they won't now? Make arguments please.

I also got an email and i only have one character that is eligible. So they inform us.

They were pretty clear that it would not affect many servers from the start i think.

There is seriously no reason not to transfer(maybe names but that's personal preference). Convince your friends to transfer also.

Awfull argument and i hope you realise that. They said there will be more neutral items and i think the daily commentation relics have no alignment but they still need to add more.

I assume it is one at a time but it should be possible to transfer them all at the same time.

Hey guys it is a matter of time. Developing for server merges would take much more time than transfers. There are a lot of conflicts to automatically resolve (more than 8 chars, same char/legacy names etc). This way they can delegate some of the work to us (name changes) and roll server transfers much sooner. We are talking months sooner. I firmly believe that if they went for mergers they wouldn't be ready before september. So i repeat, it is a matter of time. I wouldn't be surprized if they merge/close dead servers by the end of the year.

They mentioned them as a plan for the future. We do not know anything about this so it is better to assume it is not happening until it does.

You will keep all the unlocked perks of both servers and your legacy level will be the biggest one of them. They have said this repeatedly(and in the announcement too). I don't want to sound offensive but you should try reading next time. Too many people prefer to ask questions that are answered right in front of them.

Server forums would be nice and very usefull to meet other people you can play with. I am very much for this personally.

I am pretty sure there was a poll in the past and most people were selecting Cathar. I remember i was surprized because i do not like them. Looks like they are going with the popular choice.

Honeslty? In game the community is fantastic in this game. Very respectable and helpfull people.

I don't get it. Shouldn't we wait until they announce exactly how they are going to implement transfers before going berzerk? Really it makes no sense complaining about something we do not know. I seriously question the people that do that (e.g. the OP). Please wait until they announce their plans. Complain if you do not like that. Make suggestions, sure. Make your arguments for or against in a constructive manner. Maybe they will implement transfers differently than how you assume. You actually make some good points but your manner is extremely wrong.

It is a success as long as it nets a profit. The thing is that we have no hard numbers so you have no idea. Zip. We also have no idea how many layoffs occured and what positions they occupied. Judging by their ad to recruit QA people we can safely say that some layoffs were of QA and market people. It is possible that it was just a reaction to the awfull QA they had were patches tented to come out with bugs. There could also be more layoffs but assuming things without information is wrong and i personally believe people doing that are people who want this game to fail and they do not care about it one bit.

I absolutely agree with you. They need to make a good job on character transfers. Expecting people that have played for months on a server and have like 3-4 50 level characters to reroll is wrong. They should not have to do that.

Unique class storylines are the best thing about this game. Hope they do not change that in the future.

Industry analysts are a joke and they are the main reason we see copies instead of new games being sold for extraordinary prices (diablo 3 is the latest example of this). I refuse to aknowledge anything they say.

I want VO. I am spoiled now and get irritated when i open quests in a game and there is no VO.

I love the game and having lots of fun. I try to take a few days off once in a while and i found that this keeps the game very fresh.
