  1. I vote Guardian. Imo it's a little harder to get the job done on the Guardin/Jugg than the other two, so you end up looking good. Assn/Shadow seems too inbetween the Guardian and PT so it never really appealed to me. For balls to the wall, I play my Juggernaut. If I just want to relax and tank I play my PT. As to which is better for 2.5, like the above poster said, they are just really close this patch and i can't even tell which is better overall. But yes, some are better at certain situations than another, but again, too close to tell really. I know many said the Assn's would be OP this patch because of the changes, but it turns out they increased, but not in the amount most people were thinking.
  2. Hey welcome to the game. Been since headstart myself and recently started pvp'ing. I too played WoW and pvp'd quite a bit. I just started pvp'ing here with a Jugg. I'm enjoying the Vengence spec. Jugg uses one lightsaber. I dont' htink they are the best in pvp, but I can hold my own I feel. However, I'm stil learning so I can't give much info.
  3. I could not, for the life of me, get into the Agent story. I got my Agent to lvl38, and just couldn't do it anymore. I don't know what the deal was. I was excited to try it after I finished my Juggernaut, but again, lvl38 and i was done. I didn't like any part of the story up until then, except for Kaliyo.
  4. CHiming in from the Imp side. I agree with the OP. I have a Mara and Jugg. I've been a pve'er since headstart and about a weeek ago wanted to pvp for the first time. I went Jugg/Veng over Mara because i used to see so many Mara's. Since I started pvp'ing, I see like 2 -4 juggs per wz. I might see 1 Mara. I rarely see 2 mara's in a wz. Now I'm rethinking my decision in playing my Jugg since I always like playing classes that aren't represented much.
  5. Rock on guys, thanks so much, gives me a good start.
  6. Rock on, thanks. I'll try Veng out a little. If Rage is really better than Veng, I'll just stick it Rage them. I prefer better to enjoyment when it comes to a spec.
  7. I agree with both of you. I honestly do, but I get to play maybe 3 -4 hours a week combined. By the time I get comfortable enough with the Veng tree, 2 or 3 weeks might have passed by the time I figure out I have been wasting time on a stupid spec that I thought might work. Now, if I have to I will, trust me, but I always like to ask people that play a lot more than me first. That way it get's me a head start and saves a lot of time. To give a little perspective. In 5 days of playing the Rage spec I found, I've been able to get a relic, and I'm about 200 wz's shy of the 2nd relic lol. Liek I said, not much play time.

    Veng Jugg spec

Searched, asked in the Jugg forums, still looking. All I can find are spec's from 2.4, coudl someone hook me up with a Jugg PvP Veng spec. I'm sick of Smash.
  9. Hey folks, could someone hook me up with a Veng pvp spec? Been Immortal since headstart, so I'm pretty lost when it comes to anything but tanking hehe.Trying pvp out. Thanks.
  10. This right here is somthing I would support also. Again, pro's and con's to either side.
  11. I honestly hope they never do, and if they did, should revert your toon back to lvl10 or 15 or something really low. I like the fact that you live with the consequence of a permanent choice in a game. That's just me, I know there are really good reasons for allowing and not allowing it. It wouldn't cause me to quit the game or anything, but I definitely wouldn't be happy about it.
  12. This is the spec I'm running now. I don't feel squishy at all, but I i'm sure that's because I still have all my 156 pve tank gear. Yesterday I replaced both Relics with pvp relics. Of coruse, I don't noticed a difference with that. My first wz, i got 3rd in dps and I was thinking wow, Vengence is pretty decent. The more wz's I played, the more i realized that my first wz had to have been a fluke. Being more familiar with the vengence tree, I'm normally bottom 3 or 4 now in dps, however, I have to admit, I like the spec. It's fun. Feels very fluid, which is a big plus. The only thing I dont like about the spec, is it feels like there are too many buttons to push, I don't know. The reason I like the Immortal tank over the PT and Sin tanks is because it feels fluid. I'll give Rage a go tonight. I know, I need to get rid of my pve gear, but either way, having fun. Reason I want the best best for the class is because I know it can take weeks to master a spec. I just dont' want to devote that time to a spec that will under-perform in the long run.
  13. I'm look at which is a better wz spec for Juggs. I dont' care about fun, noob specs, etc. I'm pvp'ing for the first time and just want to do well. I asked on fleet, and well, everyone is arguiing now about Vengence vs Smash. So, sicne I'm a min/max person, even if Smash barely eeks out ahead of Vengence, I'll play it. Anyone got any insight? I know Jugg's aren't really popular to pvp with, so it's hard to find up-to -date info. Thanks.
  14. I'm wondering the same thing. I was leveling a Mara to strictly pvp with and keep my Jugg strictly PvE, but seeing so many Mara's makes me about sick of playing one, no matter how much I like the playstyle.
  15. Yeah, I was actually thinking about one of those. I was leaning more towards a Jugg/Guardian since it seems Mara/Sents are everywhere.
  16. THis isn't a which class is strongest post. I'm looking for a certain, pvp playstyle in particular and i"m wondering if any classes fit the bill. Probably the last time I pvp'd in a game was wow, and a little bit in Tera. I liked playing a Lancer in Tera, and a BLood DK in WoW for pvp bg's. I liked being able to do some damage, but mostly I liked being hard to kill. When someone engaged me, I wouldn't necesarily burst them down, but I would just be really hard to kill, and eventually wear them down and I'd win. Is there any classes that work like that in this game?
  17. Rock on, thanks so much for that run down.
  18. Awesome, yes thanks. Really gives me insight. The thing that kept me playing the Jugg is the mobility and I felt like it was faster playstyle. Now that might be in my mind, but it just felt that way. To me the Shadow I could just mash buttons and be good, not moving as much. The Vangaurd just felt slow. Now, of course, this all might've been in my head, but that was the main reason I played the Jugg. That was also at lvl50, so I don't know how much has changed.
  19. Coudl you elaborate on this this? I'm just coming back too. Haven't played since 50 was the max level. I had a Vanguard, PT, Shadow and Jugg all to 50. I enjoyed tanking on my Jugg and Van/PT a lot more than my Shadow at the time. I felt the shadow play style was too bland. Now, I didn't like the "Play-style" of my Van/PT much, but I only liked them because of the heavy armor look. Once i had gotten my Shadown to 50, I never touched him again, even though he was my 2nd toon to 50. Anwyays, yeah, just coming back also, as the game installs, i'm trying to decide which of the tanks to continue with. I had thought about my Shadow, only because I've been reading that they will be the OP tanks in 2.5. But If the playstyle is still relatively the same, I dont' think I will. I didn't like it much.
  20. Not looks really, but which do you like watching tank? I gave an example how in WoW many healers liked watching warrior tanks there because of how their mobility, zipping around the screen. That is what made me roll a warrior in that game a few years ago. Here, I was wondering which tank was most entertaining to watch.
  21. Thinking of rolling a tank. I've not played much, got a 38 Op. I've pretty much soloed the whole way. Now that i'm getting the hang of the game, it's tank time. My question is for healers since you watch the tank a lot more than other roles. Which tank to you like watching thank the most? When I asked this question in wow a few years ago, healers seemed to like watching warriors the most since they jump around and charge everywhere. Except when they charged out of distance of the heals. So anyways, I rolled a warrior then. Again, which tank do you like watching the most? Thanks.
  22. COol, thanks so much for the info.
  23. More Dangerous? I've always like builds/classes that are hard to learn and master, but are very rewarding once you do. Is this how that tree would be?
  24. Cool, thanks for the replies. I'm not sure a Sniper would fit me as I look at it. I always prefer to be active. I love a mechanic that helps you close the distance like the Mara/Sent has. I chose a Jugg tank as a main back when I played because of this. I think I'll level both a Mara and Assassin or the pub equivalent as for pvp in other games, because I enjoy aspect of those of those classes. Thanks.
