what the use of having tokens..if you gonna put everything behind ratings..from win trading and hackers cheating people out of games..ratings shouldn't be a criteria on getting weapons..just have a flat out price to buy with rank war zone tokens.. top 96 i can understand that having it own reward and criteria..but weapons and other rewards should be based on price of tokens..not by ratings..Eric yall said the reason for Bioware going to a token currency to eliminate the trolls and hackers in rank..which affect people ratings and people not getting rewards cause of the trolls, hackers and win traders.. Eric hope you can respond back to my post..give the community a clear answer..

think i understand now..9042-9243 power aug..8967-9228 mastery aug..basically i do 5 non crit attacks with ball lightning..i do 9100 damage in the 5 attacks using power augs..i do 9200 in 5 attacks using the mastery mods..therefor i'm doing more dps in mastery spec compared to power aug spec.. basically this is the meaning..even though my stats are higher with all power augs..it dont mean that i will hit the big numbers more than using mastery augs..or i probably get bigger numbers overall with mastery augs over power..making my sustained higher with mastery augs..

maybe i'm a old man..i'm in my 60's..i'm not to tech savvy in all this numbers game..i go by what i see and experience..yall did this from a logical sense of view with parses and other tools.. coming from a common sense view still not seeing how this add up..i will explain my point..earlier i used 2 screenshots of my fully 248 min/max sin..one ss was with all power mods and other ss was all mastery mods..this was the result which you can go back to page 2 of this thread and see for yourself.. power augs..melee damage 4267-4989..bonus damage 3986.2..CRITICAL 44.22%..ball lightning 9042-9243.. mastery augs..melee damage 4239-4961..bonus damage 3958.0..CRITICAL 45.55%..ball lightning 8967-9228.. using common sense the power augs have bigger numbers overall besides critical..which mastery augs give you the most critical..which is under 2% difference..even the attack skills..example ball lightning with power augs 9042..ball lightning with mastery augs 8967.. to the meat of the topic..you telling me if we use 2 sins with my stats..one using mastery augs and one using power augs..the mastery augs will do more damage overall when parsing..yall saying basically 2% more critical gonna make that big of a difference to overall dps.. yes i have the sorceror buff for 5% mastery bonus..looking from a common sense point of view.how can mastery do more damage in burst or otherwise than power..yes yall did the number crunching and testing..something not adding up.going by the stats mastery is lower than power.. i'm asking to whoever want to answer..the 2% more critical you get from using mastery augs make that big of a difference on overall dps..what i think the person who did this bant..probably the toon wasn't min/max fully..he also probably didnt have all datacrons unlock which add alot to overall stats..which i have all unlocked.. even when critting the power aug build gonna hit harder..i mean 9042 is bigger than 8967..unless mastery does something to the numbers we can't see with our eyes or on paper..i just dont see how it possible for mastery to give bigger numbers..in burst damage or sustained..

Anna..those are some bad mercs if they get globalled..responsive safeguard take care of that situation..unless the merc is bad and he hit responsive safeguard when he got attack or when 1st stun..then if he get white bar then he dead meat..hopefully mercs have common sense to save responsive safeguard when they get white barred..to stop from getting globalled..

i don't know about that Anna..going off my own experience..i beat a 248 geared sin 1 vs 1 running alacrity..i beat another sin running all mastery augs..i use all power augs..don't dabble to much in pve about numbers..from testing on pvp dummy on my ship..i seen more dps from the power than mastery augs..that doing just basic pvp rotations with sin.. this is a gray area since we all have opinions..guess it come down to user choice..

my god..had enough of this attention seeker..you made this topic a while back..i play on Harby all different hours of day and night..lvl 70 regs never waited a hour..most i might had waited maybe 15 minutes..i been playing on Harby for 3 years.. lowbies might be another story..but lvl 70 pvp i call B.S. on you..maybe if you spend less time on forums looking for attention and play the game..you might get que pops you claim are not happening..until you can show us proof it mean nothing.. other people that reading his or her thread it looking for attention..honestly i don't think you is a female..just say you are one for the attention..in order for me to believe anything you say on forums..you gonna need proof to back up your claim.

i put in (3) 248 accuracy enhancements..i had 110% and my crit rating was still over 40%..even with full 242 gear crit rating stayed over 40%..so i dont know where your facts are coming from..

my sin on harbringer is full 248 min/max..i use 2 accuracy enhancements..putting me at 106+% accuracy..my crit rating is still over 40% and my crit multiplier at 71%..you need that much accuracy for pvp..missing a low slash might not seem major..but it can make a difference of stopping someone while other is capping..also if somebody trying to escape to heal up.. 110% accuracy is needed for hm ops for pve..some people might stack all power/crit enhancements and that is your choice..from somebody that did it..the amount of damage is not really worth my low slash missing a target in crucial moment..

really nice beloch..i took mines one step further..i have 2 1/2 full storage of tier 3 crates..4 legacy storage tabs of different cxp packs..here's the kicker..which will guarantee pretty much i have all 248 gear same day patch hits..i have 6 toons with 1000 components..that what you call a grind.. my sin is full 242..all i need to do is get all the left side for my sin..meaning 2 relics, 2 implants, and 1 ear piece..i will get that part done..well with 6 toons at 1000 components i can min/max my sin in 1 go..thats 12 pieces of 248 gear i can buy up front.. only Vace might give me competition for being server 1st with full 248 gear..cause he did the same like me almost with his toons..beloch i got a feeling you gonna hit cap on your sorc and not finish getting 248 gear..thats why should had grinded toons with 1000 components for this scenario,, if you did grind out some toons to 1000 components then may the best man or women win..i'm curious like you to see how many levels will reach from the cxp crates and packs..

ok Fabsus..i give you the benefit of doubt..your sorc and my merc is fighting 1 vs 1..i used my reflect,,energy shield,,kolto surge,,chaff flair and electronet..you still alive and i got like 20% hp left..also wz med pack are used up..all my dcd's are on cooldown.. this scenario seem like you got the match won..wait i pop tech overide then hit you with concussion blast..that's a 8 second mezz..which in that time i spam heals and get back to full hp.hit my load cells to regen cells..then kill you cause i'm back to full HP and at least my energy shield is back up..cause of energy rebound utility.. yes you will be mezzed cause you will use your cc breaker before the concussion blast mezz..if you didnt cc break the net or the stuns you be dead alrdy..as you see even when you think a merc or commando is down for the count..they still have a ace up there sleeve to play.. saying a sorc will beat a commando or merc head up..don't see it happening unless the merc suck really bad..commandos / mercs have the skills to win a battle and the tools to win a war..

on my pvp tank sin i have 150k hp..this is no dvl armor..just people stacking hp..or using 240 static armoring instead of 208 set bonus armoring..

rarely do i post about anything wrong with the game..i'm probably few people that accept the screw ups and roll with it..usually it don't affect my game..since 5.0 and 5.1 seeing it differently these days.. i was at tier 3 when 5.1 went live..from Tuesday till today i grinded 100 tier 3 crates..yes i know i don't have a life..i do actually but i wanted to prove a point..i wanted to see how broken the RNG system..never will i grind like this ever.. 100 tier 3 crates.i open them all..i didn't get 1 single piece of 242 gear or accessories..i only got (2) 240 pieces of set gear..(1) 240 purple implant..(1) 240 purple offhand..rest been green or blue trash..Bioware this finally broken my back..just renewed for the month..once this month sub run out not renewing.. this is sad out of 100 tier 3 crates i don't get a single 242 gear of any kind..your RNG need to be fixed..to the white knights and others this crap is broken..sorry there is no way around it..i don't see 5.2 fixing the problem unless the RNG mechanic changes.. to Ben and Eric the RNG is failed..do something about it..out of 100 crates to get trash drops is sad..well i said enough..other people can chime in and say your peace..i don't think there is a stronger case than mines..that RNG system is failed..

crafting economy good one...that over inflated crap fest..i was talking about schematics from command and war zone crates..i didn't say anything about you people precious OPS..so you cool with doing ops 5 times in a row and get same schematic that you cant use and trash it to vendor.. if the other team members have the schematic then it useless..at least you get something out of your time and effort by selling or trading it..like restocking the stuff you use for OPS..

this game is past the point of gamer pride..i got close 400 command rank..i careless abut being elite few..i rather have a healthy game with alot of people to play..instead of having a game filled with the elite few... we is to the point where common ground have to be reached ..for the better good of game and the people that play it..nobody should be penalized cause they didn't grind to tier 3 in 3 weeks.. like me a no life gamer with time on his hands.. besides tired of getting duplicate schematics that can help out other people and myself..cause i can trade or sell it for the schematic i need..you see everybody wins..unless you want a dead game where you walk around the fleet showing off your fancy 240 crafted gear..but nobody to pvp or do pve.. i was talking mainly about schematics from command and wz crates..you can leave the schematics in ops legacy bound..to make you and others happy i guess..
