  1. I'd like to see the original Light PVP gear-set get reintroduced minus the bones, spikes, and frayed bottoms. Something more clean and refined as opposed to the chaotic versions that exist/existed now.
  2. Vurk would have my vote. Awesome species that didn't get enough camera time. Takes me back to my days in kindergarden and just finding about dinasaurs, they were only the coolest thing I had ever discovered at that time.
  3. It's supposed to be, balance is being ignored for the sake of feeling inadequate and something must be done about it.
  4. Ha, get a load of this guy. He wants us to enjoy our entertainment, pffft.
  5. Different engines mean objects act differently. There's no question there, people can do just about anything when they set their minds to it but keep in mind that these are also cosmetic - being able to be seen with your sleeves dangling free down to your fingers in no way impacts gameplay combat. And I would rather have them fix issues that hamper gameplay first, waste time with the cosmetics after.
  6. Agreed, I usually don't jump right in to waste Force Pull unless if I have Mind Control on CD and the mob needs to be positioned immediately or agro'd when out of range from M. Mind Control. For me it's more of a panic skill in desperate situations, which most of the time I use it on a stray elite/champ that is breaking from the group to target a healer/DPS in OPs.
  7. Lets be honest, if I didn't know anything about economics and was mad that all my friends are making millions while I'm making tens of hundreds, yeah I'd be mad too. Or maybe some just get mad that they can't sell some uber loot for outrageous prices because someone farmed a lot and sold the same piece for a fraction less. GG Just because you're passionate about disagreeing with what other people do with their time doesn't make what you believe a fact. It's a matter of opinion, you can't afford or can't make money on something - tough luck. That's the reality you're just going to have to deal with. Bringing ethics into a vidya game? lolz I don't know, I'd love to see a verbal rant when he finds out people make it their mission to engage in subterfuge and the debate later comes along on how: "It's wrong to interrupt what someone is doing in the comfort of their own solitude for the sake of one's enjoyment."
  8. I want Darkness to have burst damage withour sacrificing it's tanking capabilities and my Sin to have the Sorcerer's Absorb so I don't need a pocket-healer to tank anything in the game. ...we all want stuff.
  9. Again, I'm not talking about threat generation. Of course once I establish agro I'm working on HS/HD which is within the first second of engagement. I just never considered it a "go-to" chain to draw agro, for me that's for mitigation. Of course it's in my list of things to do but cycling the taunts we have, it's like adding more sprinkles on a cupcake that has sprinkles. You're confused, I get that but don't jump quick to assume that these skills "aren't on my skill bar." They are and I use them but I just use them differently and hadn't suffered losing agro unless the mob specificly had a skill to switch or couldn't be threat generated. It has nothing to do with me choosing not to use the skills because I do use them, obviously.
  10. Looks good, now I want to see what the legs, boots, and gloves, will look with Ultra-tech Stalkers.
  11. I left mine, Agent Twenty-One off at: http://assets-cloud.enjin.com/users/2224831/pics/original/800961.jpg and without the visor - http://assets-cloud.enjin.com/users/2224831/pics/original/798467.jpg He's basically modeled after Sam Fisher from Double Agent, tried to get the 5 o'clock shadow going.
  12. I wouldn't go that far but the game was certainly built around the Warrior and Knight as their stories have, arguably, the largest impacts to the overall story than any others. You'll get a bit of cameo dialog but as far as personal story goes, everybody else seems a little weak.
  13. FPs, HMFPs, OPs, PVP, ship combat. All of these can be accessed from the fleet
  14. That's the market for you, in any game with an AH you'll see players doing that. Woe to the person that falls for it and lol to the person who tries but gets nothing. I don't know what to tell you, deal with it.
  15. As much as I would like this, they're cosmetic. You can get the same mods without having the gear and spending real money on. Therefore this is their F2P concept - you want the good stuff early on or addressed for you out the door, then you gotta pay for it. Each and every time. The only things I would say need to be legacy/account bound are: Legacy titles, class story titles, unify chest, hide head, credit cap removal, and 3rd crafting skill unlock.
  16. Wasn't this bad at launch, you'd occasionally get one or two trying to spam. But a part of the problem is the F2P service that limits mail-spam and chat availability. So as the poster above said, they use what they think will reach out to the most.
  17. Not to mention it goes against the ethics of being developer companies like Bioware. If this were Notch or some other small group, sure but I don't think Bioware would feel comfortable taking money from a player, no matter the payback, for gambling with the prsopect of fail or success. I'm sure there's more fancy and specific words that would likely better describe the situation but I don't have them so I put it simply that it is seen as a bad rep. I know as a player who has the money, it sounds like a noble and just cause but no company with a publisher does this.
  18. Yup, right I haven't played in a while (granted I played a Sin with Lightning and Recklessness replacing), I felt it's agro paled in comparison but I often did my orders differently, of course Shock and Wither were priority just not for me as far as threat was concerned. It wasn't an issue for me most of the time in the sense that I was happy knowing most bosses didn't leave me alone, so that was good enough.
  19. I always saved Force Pull for desperate matters when a mob decides to break. But that was just me and my little attempt at reinventing a versatile chain that I was comfortable with.
  20. How does your equipment look? If you don't have the highest level armor mods, that could be one reason as it affects the incoming damage. Sometimes however a healer might be the problem so if they can't keep you up, it can be either you or them. There's a lot that could be impacting your ability to tank, I found it easy - just keeping Dark Ward up, having some spare med packs, and then taunting when possible. You don't really start blowing up and seeing major versatility until you get Harnessed Darkness anyways, maybe you just had bad luck.
  21. Cycle your taunts, breach, Slow Time, and use Pull from far away targets (slow or stun them long enough to deal additional damage too to build up some threat) Compared to a Jugg, which I played prior, threat managemeant felt easier if by first encounters it does feel a little intimidating. The Shadow/Sin feel as they have much higher threat management capabilities than a Jugg/Guard or Vang/Pyro, at least out the gate. Hell I'd even say if you're quick and know the fights, watch mob placement, you may not even need the taunts until targets break - not to mention you have a really good CC to use in addition with your stealth. Not sure if Pull breaks the CC or agros mobs, it wasn't last time I played but that was two months ago. Basically you could sleep a target, pull, force speed in, Slow Time, and your area taunt - then just lay waist into them with Whirling Strike to deal some damage to further build threat. I rarely had to switch to a target to stun in order to prevent them from bailing the mosh-slaughter-pit but it did happen, just need to keep your eyes on everything. It's daunting at first but I always considered it an art. As far as bosses go, as Ckone said. Start with Force Pull since it's a huge agro magnet and a ranged one, since you can't affect most bosses (some require combat to engage first before they bring up their passive charges that prevent you from CC'ing them, watch that) it'll just deal a lot of threat and then you go in. You kind of want to cycle between your single target taunt, AE, and Slow Time - usually if you master it well between attacks you're always pumping threat.
  22. Not bad, I think what I'll end up doing once I get my comp back is get the Valiant set and then maybe switch the chest with the level 50 Ultra-tech Stalkers chest from FE to see how the rest of the parts switch to white. I prefer the Exar Kun/Athiss Twinblade hilt though since it looks like two LSs attached, I just wish ascertaining a purple color crystal was a bit more lenient as far as gameplay was concerned. I am however waiting for them to release the original purple color into the market, not a fan of the purple-pink.
  23. That's surprising to me but I understand that at the same time here I am not liking Nolan North, who has VA'd in games like Assassins Creed, Uncharted, Spec Ops, and so on. I do like the JK (David Hayter) who I thought pulled it off well, he's also the VA for Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid - the accent or mannerisms fit well imo. It's only fair however not everyone will like the same one. That's why I wished they pulled an EQ2 and threw voice actors for each sex to compose the lines of all classes so that we could select which is better, based on a sentence or sound bite. Sadly that would be a lot of work but it would have cost them maybe a month or two longer for release which I would have been fine with.
  24. Ashara, she dishes out enough damage most of the time so most finds go pretty well. I'll send her to the weakest and get the strongs or boss to focus on me and let her rape enemies from behind.
