  1. If you bought a poorly made razer product just for the crystal, then that would be your fault.
  2. What that really boiled down to on the NA servers was hordes of gold sellers taking over entire dungeons with pking enforcers keeping anyone not working for the sweat shop out of the area.
  3. Everquest, PvP in that game boiled down to enchanter/bard the two classes that could lock down every other class indefinitely. No sorry that game had terrible pvp (the concept of a good/evil/neutral or race war was amusing though, But the class mechanics had been designed for pure PVE so certain spells mechanics got broken fast.
  4. There is no "almost" about it, there is no cheat detection what so ever. Even the most basic of script kiddie attempts at memory editing can go undetected. The closest thing we have to anti-cheat at the moment opening a ticket and report them.
  5. You do realize the family tree is cosmetic and has absolutely no effect on the legacy perks? It has about the same level of function as you drawing out your family tree on paper and taping to your monitor.
  6. The crafting community died out halfway into BC, long befor heirlooms, when they made pve less dependent on consumables, gems and potions still made a vary large profit. Heirlooms really only effected the twinking market, and most of that gear was rare drops not crafted.

    PvP is a joke now.

    Bioware has always been notorious for ignoring player feedback out of arrogance, that their design is above the demands of the player base. They are also notorious for there utter lack of damage control. Certain developers / "writers" are no longer allowed to use twitter because of this (Cannot be named for Forum rules, Hint "its" nickname is hamburger helper)
  8. Only the damage per tick was reduced, the net damage is the same. DFA was three ticks of damage, It was changed to six ticks. The initial damage is now instant. To compensate for doubling the ticks the damage per tick was reduced. It has the same total damage over the course of the full channel.
  9. Bioware could just be doing it independently to save their own ***. EA relays on hype to market mass produced games. When a name becomes counter productive to the hype, the name is discarded by dissolving the studio and merging its staff to a newly acquired name.
  10. Bioware was lazy about it, and didnt retroactively apply the system to pre-existing items. Only the new 1.2 stuff has the removable set bonus. They have been lazy about the itemization from the start, every set for a given role has copy and past set bonuses. There is nothing unique about a tiered sets there all identical short of the mod levels.
  11. Story does not maintain subs, this is why story is meaningless in a mmo, its only role is to explain content. in short you point is invalid.
  12. Because that's not full warhero. That is the worthless orange shell created via crafting. Inspect them you will find it does not have the 60ilvl mods or the set bonus attached to it.
  13. Nah bioware was to lazy to script scaling gear. For the most part the legacy gear is garbage.
  14. Note quite, when people refer to economy in MMO's its mostly referring to inflation. When you have more money coming into a system than going out the currency value in the terms of "supply & demand" drops. This why you have economy sinks, to remove vast amounts of currency for the game. Most of the legacy system is one big economy sink.
  15. you dont need max affliction you just need to complete all the conversations for the unlock. you only need around 9000 to do this.

  17. Cant stretch it all without adding in some plot device that completely breaks canon to allow it. Most you might see is Slivilith probes (though even this breaks lore as only one was sent out, it has allready left the galaxy. They only start to send more out right befor entering the galaxy), the vong just recently left their galaxy on the worldships. The vong them self will not enter the galaxy for another four millenia.
  18. Georg Zoeller has absolutely no real experience with gameplay balancing. Every single project has worked had major balance flaws. Though it was not a huge concern with those titles considering the single player nature.
  19. There is a major flaw with that, that number is inaccurate. It has not been updated sense the release in asian pacific, the number was posted right after the asian pacific release. As with all games you see a sudden surge at release. From current reports its doing vary poorly in that given region, all there servers are sitting on light during peak. You are also not accounting for State/federal corp income tax, and the 20% royalties to lucasarts You also have to account for server upkeep and bandwidth employee payroll Upper management bonuses Advertisement Legal fee's So the profit is no where near as high as you think it is.
  20. They needed it to act a content filler for 1.3 insted of just rolling out another poorly designed instance. Most of the legacy system is completely useless fluff (infact the legacy tree has no ingame effect what so ever, and its like anyone else can see it). Overall the entire system is way to casual, lv15 legacy (vary easy to achieve) is all you need for everything other than the GTN, despite the fact that the other legacy levels (max is 50) are devoid of any benefits.

  22. They lost any respect the moment they accepted a buyout from EA. What you have now is just a branding name EA, it no longer the bioware you considered great. Infact most of the developers and programmers that made the old bioware titles such as Boulders gate 1 and 2, icewind dale, Neverwinter nights (remake), and DA:O, have all quit, stating "they did not like the direction the studio was heading".
