3 Kephess' is the proper amount, or average I should say. If your DPS is insane you can do 2 Kephess' before going to droid phase. You really want to get through droid phase without Bloodthirst as you'll most likely need it for final burn phase as the DPS check is much much tighter than the droid one. As others have said above me, its about saving your big & hard hitting moves for the first droid and if you have a Mara/Sent they can use Transcendence/Predation for fast movement for the melee to get to and from the droids quicker.

Very interesting. I've never really moved abilities around like LT+Snipe. I will see how better that is on energy, but theoretically you can move LT+Snipe where ever you want in the rotation as it should never fall under Target Aquired or your Adrenal. Pretty much where ever you have extra energy you can use this ability, but I've just thrown in there out of burst for an opener. I would personally want to make sure I have Laze Target off CD going into sub 10% on the dummy though as its a guaranteed crit. Besides that, very valid point

Another great point. Takedown should be 100% GUARANTEED and this is a travesty that it actually has a chance to not proc. My video doesn't really give the rotation its justice. This rotation is solely based upon crits with Cull. If you get a boat load of crits while Culling you'll have more than enough energy to resume using high energy moves (like EP & LT+Snipe), but if you aren't getting crits then your parse will die quickly if you aren't using Rifle shot. It's quite annoying trying to get a very very high parse when you're BiS because you're using as many high energy abilities as possible praying you get crits to make up for the energy loss. Long story short, I usually end up completing 1/4 parses I do as Lethality now a days. Unfortunately I do not know what the good & average parses are for being in 180 gear.

Just announce this already PLEASE. Delaying the announcement makes this worse. We keep getting either misleading remarks or extremely disappointed by "teasers." That's great you're making something nice for subscribers, as you should be, but JUST ANNOUNCE THE ACTUAL CONTENT ALREADY. I beg of you, nay, EMPLORE YOU announce this ASAP! The content isn't being delayed so clearly it's set in stone what it will be, so just let the cat out of the bag before mines spontaneously combusts.

The Harbinger seems to be very popular now with guilds like Zorz, Ex-Dalborran Elitists, YES, Textbook Execution, Intrepid, and many more on both Republic and Imperial factions. Many many world/US firsts were done on this server as well from previous to current content. One thing to note - this does not mean this is the "best raiding server" as this is purely from a world progression standpoint.

Oh man that DPS reminds me of dem 2.0 Patch Parses

As I've said before, I am no where near the best Sniper so PLEASE beat my parse. I should not be #1. This thread is to help guide those who would like to play this spec better as a whole and in raid scenarios. I honestly could careless about where I am in the parse ranks as long as I know I'm within the #1 of like 50~ (Crits can be a ***** so everyone gets an excuse). Regardless, goodluck on council & Lethality is more than viable for the fight!

That's mainly because I never parse these fights anymore, nor do I bother to fluff enough. Hybrid absolutely will do more dmg in P2 because of the extra fluff damage, but Lethality has better survivability. Lethality can do more than enough during Phase 2 and your other DPS should be putting out substantial numbers as well (Snipers should not have to carry there ). Long story short, both specs are fine for Council both have killed it, so what's the point? Comments like these are getting old now as the content is nerfed as well. Please.

Thank you for those able to respond to questions while I am at class, I appreciate it any and all discussion about this spec. Here is my take on Ambush in Lethality. I do not use it in raids. My main reasoning for Ambush on dummy parses was even though you delay cull by about 0.9s every time you use Ambush, if it crits it will do more damage than Corrosive Mine, LT+Snipe, or Rifle Shot, or even EP for that matter. The more you use Ambush however, you delay said Cull, which you really don't want to do. Using 9 Ambushes for example will have you miss 1 total Cull in a parse, which is a little extreme, but if you get 100% crit its worth. Now again, this is from a parsing perspective, I personally NEVER use Ambush in raid scenarios. In fights where there are multiple adds, dotting up other targets or using Frag Grenade are of a higher priority than a single Ambush. This is just my take on Ambush and again, as I said in the beginning of the post, I am not the best Sniper nor do I have the theorycrafted numbers to back my statements, but from me playing the class these are my reasoning. Thank you guys for being vocal about Snipers and giving us a voice as everyone else rolls FoTM classes <3

Just wanna point this out here, MK ran Infil for the first Shadow Brontes kill (before Infil & Balance buffs). Why? Survivability. That is always more important than DPS.

I personally haven't kited Raptus since late June, but I spent many many hours on it. Not sure what my dtps was as I no longer have access to Torparse, until its back live, but it depends on how Tyrans feels about you Very good question. I actually based these 3 GCD's around Relic Procs. In other words, I always wants TD under the Relics and will move these around to make it work. This guide doesn't have everything on there yet, but I will be adding day by day. I agree, using OS in places where you can benefit from AOE splash (3+ enemies) would be good. Sometimes in my personal rotation if I'm low on energy & there's more than 1 enemy, I replace SoS with OS. I don't think OS would really fit well in single target rotation still, but then again I haven't tested it. It does have potential, but mainly used for AOE splash. One side note, I RARELY use Ambush in raids, unless I'm feeling ballsy. Main reason for this is when I'm parsing I do what I can to get the highest parse possible, so I began to use Ambush here. One thing to note is I very rarely have the energy to finish a parse using Ambush, so you'll be pulling your hair out of your head doing this. Definitely not recommended for the faint of heart. I do agree with that, but if you're using high energy abilities often in your rotation, the 5 energy really makes a difference in my experience.
