  1. I play an operative. Hutball makes me cry.
  2. Way to game the system and not play a game. Considering every match I had last night was hutball. I totally understand that winning is only a secondary objective.
  3. I rage because sorc dots > my corrosive dart + 3 points in the legacy tree for 3% damage bonus
  4. What a useless skill. Does not remove force dots. Everyone is a sorc/sage.
  5. It's not like this is a grouping game and you want to raid or anything. Be that token op
  6. reroll sorc. At lvl 16 they have a better kit and less headaches.
  7. All classes should feel fun as they level up between each other to 50. There are always trade-offs here and there. But nothing so boldly askew-ed as the classes presented in swtor. Ops/smugs do not feel balanced at all. At lvl 16 my sage had a better kit of skills than my op for both PVE and PVP. At lvl 16 my merc was wasting 4 pack mobs with 2 skills. Rolling pve content easily. At Lvl 16 my op is way behind the curve of fun/playability. I really do not subscribe to the idea of a class having to suck until level X. That is bad game design. I'm lvl 32. And this class still feels bad. It's not just the skills, it also the bloated no direction talent tree choices. 3% poison with culling at the top of the concealment tree? For what 1 skill corrosive dart? While in the lethality tree shiv has 5% boost per point at the bottom of the tree? This game is an excellent single player experience. It shows very well that the developers have limited experience in any sort of class balances. Something single player games do not have to worry much. NO CLASS SHOULD FEEL USELESS UNTIL LEVEL X. That is bad design period.
  8. Same problem here. I was in hutball and a lvl 16 assassin crit me for 3k. I have never hit that hard. ever. Currently lvl 32.
  9. Is this skill a joke? 1% increase in damage for poison per point up to 3%? I'm trying to understand why put any points into this? While Razor's Edge gives 5% per point at level 10? I don't understand the concealment tree at all. Does anyone have any good concealment builds? I am lvl 32 now and I am just getting slaughtered in pvp. When does it turn around?
  10. reroll sorc and realize your fully viable nakes in pvp at lvl 14.
  11. Will there be in game voice chat like lotro for raiding? Thanks
  12. I am a concealment operative level 28. I am having the worst time in warzones. I find myself doing not so well damage wise. Any tips? It seems every other class is hitting me for 1k 2k 3k spamables and my backstab hits for 400. Help?
  13. QQ OP. Imagine all that time you grinded out for gear so you roflstomp to grow that e-peen will be wasted. I myself, went out to dinner on a date, had some steak and wine and enjoyed life. Any reasonable human being could see that this system was a time vampire. Now your mad bro? really? Put that effort into solving cancer next time and not living your life in a game.
  14. Your abilities trees should correspond to your Darkness/Lightness level. So If I'm a sage and I have a lot of darkside points I should be using lightning. Likewise for sorcerrers who choose light side choices should be throwing pebbles. Since the classes are mirrors with ability trees, swapping them around will not be a problem. I think this will help republic side out because everyone says sith are cooler.
  15. I have noticed something interesting. The mechanic that boosts lower level characters in a warzone seems to be a bit wonky. I have observed at lvl 10 I was doing a lot of damage. As I leveled up, I noticed the damage trailing off. Currently at level 13 with the same equipment as lvl 10 and I'm not hitting as hard. Also noticed a lvl 10 guy wacking me for 3k crits, yet a 40+ not as much. So before you all scream NERF CLASS X, I think something is really off with this mechanic. At least for lvl 10's. Anyone else care to test/try?
  16. The bolster mechanic in the warzones is what is doing this. I put a lvl 10 sage in pvp. I was wasting things like crazy. When you level up you will notice you do less and less damage. Something isn't scaling right with the bolster mechanic for lvl 10's.
  17. Roll sith. You'll never have any issues again with PVP.
  18. I had a 40 sniper. Major problem I had was lag in deploying cover. Another issue is in PVP mobility is everything. So while you run into position then hit cover and take your shot your pretty much gimping yourself. Meanwhile your bh buddy is bending over and tossing out 2.5k tracer missile spam without the red/blue neon glowing 'Look I'm a sniper' cover bar mechanic. PVP is all about positioning and quick movement. You need to be really good sniper to do that in PVP. Too much hassle. Just roll sith sorc. You get bubble, roadrunner abilities and lightning. Your pretty much good to go at lvl 16.
  19. I"m rolling a sorc so I can l2play.
  20. 2012. You think we have a better MMO system design than to limit a person to a specific server/shard. Specifically if you have a 2 faction system.. It would be nice you picked your character first then select a server to play on with a nice list of servers/population breakdowns. Why we tie characters to specific server confuses me. You could select a favorite server and get logged into that one. It should be up to the person to pick a server and move about as they please. So sick of this retro MMO designs.
  21. This game is evolutionary at hitting the space bar. PVP is taking a step backwards.
  22. I'm sorry. It's my 14 bucks a month and if I'm paying for an MMO then I want to group up. If that means Roll sith, then I'll play sith to get groups. Maybe make Republic free to play. I don't know. It' just that side is like playing a single player game. Make a Dungeon Finder. Do something... Is there any plan? The speed in which things move it might just take 4 months. Do you honestly think anyone is going to wait 4 months on the republic side?
  23. Roll sith. That is where the party is.
