I like a lot of things in this petition. I also like a lot of the comments. Even though I'm going away, I'm happy knowing there will always be a place of fun things to read!

On Begeren Colony, I had someone make a 10 minute montage about the guild I GMed, with screenshots, music, and text (unfortunately, it was removed from Youtube and I do not have a copy!). I have not received this sort of reception on the Bastion. Then Luxford goes writing beautiful stories... I feel so alone

I don't usually like PvP Montage videos, but that one was very cool. The only problem was... your character is so ugly...

I don't normally make posts about videos (except of course for my parodies) but this just reminded me why I play concealment. Even barrier did not save him/her. Apologies ahead of time. I was not wearing my blue hair (for those of you who don't click video links without knowing exactly what happened: the sage used force speed on the top catwalk in huttball, jumping past the bottom fire. I quickly tabbed over to him/her and used hidden strike to knock them to their doom. They barriered, then I stunned and explosive probed in the fire.)

Had some fun games tonight with some MVP guys. Thanks for putting it together. We'll be queuing again tomorrow at 9 PDT.

This actually brings up a good point. Since I'm sure the only matches we'll get from here on out will be grudge matches or scheduled, we could just agree to not field respec. Before each team queues team leaders tell each other what specs their team is and we stay that way. 2 tanks, 2 healers, 4 dps (or whatever). Much less turtley and more fun, yes?

I have the problem where I want to apply with like 3 different teams so yeah, I assume people will do this. Also, I agree with the above poster.

It looks like I will just have to h2f on my sorc until 2.4. Sucks that the 2.4 announcement killed what little ranked was left. I'd be more OK with it if arenas were here, but it seems like nobody's playing them on the PTS either anymore, and they aren't scheduled to come out until at least October.

Anyone else interested in this? I think weekdays are best for us but I could probably get some subs in if we had to queue on the weekends. Just let me know.

Wow, didn't know this thread would blow up so much. I feel like I should clarify my position. I think sorc dps does great in ranked 8v8s. Having people to hide behind, 1-2 tanks and 2ish healer to protect them, the sorc does great. Also, most people don't utilize their offheal potential as much as they should. However, in 4v4 arenas, that is not possible. There is no back line. There are only 4 of you, and if two warriors jump to you, you cannot heal. You cannot really kite (due to the lack of root-resistance from force speed and there being two of them with roots). You cannot really cast unless you have polarity shift (10 seconds out of 2 min). This is where I feel the weakness of sorcs is. Casual makes it work for them from what I've seen, but it is definitely a sub-optimal comp. My two cents.
