  1. Title says it all. Tired of permastuns. Resolve system is a joke. I don't think ur resolve should die out so fast either.

    Like real talk

Resolve was so much better how it was originally.
  3. Why don't you just join a pvp guild? It's a multiplayer game bro. Start your own premade.
  4. My guild loves rateds, biggest problem for us is our tank is usually not on. When we do have a tank on and we try to Q, no one else is Q'n. We usually whisper around and everyone seems to say about the same thing, "We don't have enough people on atm." I don't know the best way to resolve this, but in my head I'm think of some type of group finder format where you choose a dropdown in it for the spot available/the spot you want. I.E. my guild would choose a tank. A tank who is in Q will pop up. We can see the players name, maybe stats, and decide if we want to pick him up or not. Like I said I don't know the best way, but let's be honest, regs get pretty dull after awhile. Any thoughts?

  6. And here i was hoping Courtney was single.
  7. Probably the player. I get the top dmg or at least 2nd in the whole wz pretty much every time. Commandos hit like a truck now. You just have to use the maximum distance possible for an easy escape. That and fake your cast a lot.
  8. It seems like this but eveyone needs to have at least some of their main stat. With 2400 of your main stat you should get 6.69%. You have a base of 5%, then you get the crit buff which is another 5%, then any bonuses from your skill tree; I get 3%. That alone is 19.69%. Let's say I stack 300 crit now, which is 300 power that I could have had. 300 crit amounts to 5.57%. That is totally not worth it. I ran the numbers and no matter how you look at it, your avg hit will always be higher with more power.
  9. Crit is absolutely worthless right now. Essentially when you place a crit mod in your gear, that is a place where a mod with power could have been. Crit rating itself is so useless that no matter how much or little crit you have on, your avg dmg over the course of a fight will be lower because of the sacrifice of power. You are better off simply using the critical percentage from your main stat and running no crit whatsoever.
  10. When I gear out, my guild is gonna run my Commando in rated. The fact that the Commando relies so heavily on grav round means that you can potentially have the armor debuff on everyone on the team. Typically after my first opener the next thing I do is switch targets and place armor debuffs on a few. You can really tell the difference in your overall team dmg when you do this. Not to mention I avg probably 100-150k total heals a game as a dps and can actually run away when I get interrupted. The new changes to Commando are very team oriented now and IMO can change the tide of the game with the armor debuff and ability to assist in heals in a struggle.
  11. Like honestly, the only way bolster could ever work perfectly is to do it by a lvl by lvl basis where each level is based on the best gear possible for that level and then lower it by a pecentage. The biggest problem with bolster is that people who work hard on their gear are equal to people who didn't do anything essentially. If you want to make pvp less about gear, make a pvp gear set every 5 lvls. This would essentially simulate recruit gear. IMO pvp was best with recruit gear. It gave new pvpers a chance to compete and veterans a reason to get gear. As it is, it's simply not worth the effort to gather gear anymore.
  12. Yeah when I say in a row, I mean in a row. And I write some type of script across multiple platforms on a daily basis. I know how random works. BW needs to take an honest look into this issue rather than questioning their customers' intelligence with simple probability equations. There is clearly something wrong. This has been an issue for weeks now. It has been happening to everyone in my guild. One of my guildies got the same map six times in a row. I don't know how they are tracking what maps everyone is getting but it's not accurate.
  13. Yeah somthing weird is going on. I got Novare coast 3 times in a row. Then Alderaan 5 times in a row, then Void Star 5 times in a row. So much for probabilities. By that math I should have won the lotto. Seriously though, there is without a doubt a problem.
  14. I have a spreadsheet that I have been working on with a bunch of the formulas on it. Currently I am working on generating some numbers for jedi knight's damaging abilities(Force sweep and blade storm). I have done this already with my Commando and Shadow, those numbers came out fine. For the knight I am trying to find the AmountModifierPercent, Coefficient, and StandarHealthPercentMax. I usually use TorHead but I'm pretty sure they are wrong. I took off all buffs, my stance, cleared my skill tree, and took into account companion buffs. My force bonus dmg equation is right, which means that the only numbers left that can be wrong are TorHead's. Anyone have any info on this?

  16. Yeah bro you can't get kicked unless you have been out of combat for a long time. So not only are you not passing the ball, but apparently at some point you were doing nothing for an extended period of time. Don't get pissed at the other players, learn from this experience and recognize that warzones are about objectives. I.e. scoring the ball. You need to learn to balance your healing with focusing on objectives.
  17. So I have been playing around with the crit and dmg formulas and what I've found is that i is more viable to stack power over crit to such a point that you should probably be rocking 0 crit. Anyone else coming up with this too? I know this was the case in the pts, but I thought they fixed it.
  18. I think it's wrong to look at in terms of a certain number for either stat. What I do is make sure I have the high aim/power mods. I.E. add the aim and power together on the mods that you want. Whatever mod has the most of those two added together, that's what you want for bigger numbers. Obviously you are going to want to balance this with crit/accuracy/alacrity. I won't begin to tell you how to balance those. Everyone has their own opinion, but for the mods that you decide you want high power/aim stats in make sure you get the mods I mentioned above. Note getting the maximum aim/power mods will have lower endurance on them. Worth it IMO.
  19. I have not. I'll give it a try. Don't know why that would work but I'll try it.
  20. This was happening to me before and still is. When I remove a piece of gear in a wz and reapply it, it lowers my stats permanently. For example: Before removing anything I had 1220 min ranged dmg and approx 22300 health. I removed my belt and bracers which lowered my min ranged dmg down to approx 1120ish i suppose, but when I reapplied them it didn't go back up to 1220, it went back up to 1190. Also I don't know if this problem still exists but it did before you guys fixed the bolster. I figured I would mention it in case you missed it as well. I had my guildies check my stats and each person saw something different. My dmg would be different from each person's perspective, the only thing that was the same for everyone was my health.
  21. ...but it has kinda turned into a button masher. There is way too much dmg going on in wzs now. Every class seems to be bursting so hard. BW you said that you wanted TTK to be longer, but I am afraid that you have actually made it shorter. Some kind of pvp examining needs to happen. I really enjoy this game.
  22. Devs did say that TTK was intentionally increased during pts testing.
  23. Why do that when I can collect Comms on all of my 50s and gear out my character in preparation for when they fix it?
