  1. To be perfectly honest, I these are black/black form of these robes (Imperial one, not Republic obviously): http://www.torhead.com/item/4dYtsTH/synthsilk-shirt http://www.torhead.com/item/4G0xdhd/rumination-vestments http://www.torhead.com/item/1WA5nd1/robe-of-the-insight
  2. Females might get a bit of disappointment when they realize their bra will cover up the full tattoo but VERY MUCH WANT!
  3. Kinetic Combat: The name of a Force Technique used by Kreia in KOTOR 2, where she levitates and controls lightsabers using the Force. It's also identified in the Star Wars Saga rulebooks as a legitimate technique. Also, Clairvolyant Strike is a good example, throwing your lightsaber forward and spinning it in their face clearly demonstrates you can move the lightsaber telekinetically. For the Sorcerer... Or, for the Consular... It would also take a lot of concentration to lift a pebble off of the ground through sheer force of will, but Consulars can throw giant chunks of earth and astromechs at people every six seconds... It's actually been said in Lore that Sith consider the Lightsaber to be a more elegant weapon, due to many factors, likely including training, but also... A) A Lightsaber does not need to be reloaded, and usually requires little to no maintenance. B) Can cut an object with precision, unlike a blaster, which you'll likely waste a few clips and ten seconds auto-firing to cut what would take a Lightsaber two seconds of a swing. C) Lightsabers can be used defensively to deflect blaster bolts and other Lightsabers. D) A Lightsaber is the mark of a Sith or Jedi. MANY Sith and Jedi alike are seen openly carrying it on their hip, that's why you always see your character reach to their hip (Open Carry) and not instead reaching into their robes (Concealed Carry)
  4. I've suggested this like 20 times with no response, hope you are more successful than I was.
  5. We have a Cartel Market Suggestion Forum specifically for Cartel Market ideas... Please make thread there and then post link... In other news, I think they released something similar just recently, but I approve of this set.
  6. Kreia didn't have Martial Prowess, she can control three lightsabers at a time at a distance. Why not do something like Kinetic Combat, where we throw the saber once, and then it will sort of hunt them down and whack them like a Damage over Time (DoT) effect? Obviously, this would only be given to Sages and Sorcerers, it would not be buffed by other damage over time buffs (Stacks of Mark of Death would not increase it's damage) and it would basically use your normal attack, but use half of your Force Power instead of Attack Power when determining total damage done per 3 seconds. This effect would only be applied on one target at a time.
  7. Personally, I myself, just don't like capes, especially those long, triangle ones that extend from the shoulders and get wider as they go down... I'd just like them to give us the option to turn capes off before they change the item.
  8. I'm talking aesthetics, as in people might think two re-colored human race is enough... Yes, I personally think comparing a Chiss to a Zeltron is like comparing any human being with another human being of a different skin tone... They can LOOK similar, but that doesn't mean they ARE similar. Bioware might not see it that way though.
  9. I have to say, the way they are doing capes in this game, I'd really rather the giant, ugly shoulderpads than the cape I can't turn off... Preferably they would give us an option to turn those both off?
  10. Bickering? I'm too busy staring at the most awesome, non-revealing armor for a female like... ever, in the history of all of gaming.
  11. I kinda wish they made Zeltrons a playable race, but people might consider them too close to the Chiss to be really effective as a playable race...
  12. This would feel kind of hollow with the 3 dialogue options we get in the game, like ever, but it'd be a HELL of a lot better than what we are getting now.
  13. Thana Vesh was a wonderful guest to the daycare! Shame we couldn't really do much with her after Taris =/
  14. I'm not telling you to seek medical help to troll you, I'm telling you because it is disorienting you in the first place, and you have clearly identified this. You want to keep requesting it be changed, by all means, keep asking, but I recommend you see if there's much else you can do until we get a Yellow Post and a patch saying it's changed. Once again, they probably did this as a visual reminder that you still have charged of Dark Ward, but no one else likes it, so Bioware should listen to the community on this (and PS, this is not the only visual complaint forum, I think Bioware may have screwed up classes like the Jedi Sentinel as well.) Also, as the amazing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. put it: "He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it." I don't want to get Political, but there are a LOT of cases where this couldn't ring more true if I slammed a bell on someone's head and bashed it with a metal hammer. Silence is Complicance, Arguing and Fighting are Defiance.
  15. This thread is about making ALL 'rest' abilities possibly channel as long as the devs can program (which is 999 seconds) Potentially, this could also extend to anything that doesn't directly affect combat as well... (maybe any channel ability, such as Force Storm or Suppressive Fire, has an unlimited channel outside of combat until it actually hits something?)
  16. And I seem to be the only one in the entire thread that actually likes the new animation... and Lace, chances are they did that because they may have considered it unfair that Jedi Shadows also have an animation for their effect, and may have wanted to even it out...
  17. 1. Dark Jedi Holocron? The color seemed a little less like the bright green one they show lying around the Jedi Temple... 2. Possible, but how could you tell it's swirling? Wouldn't it need to have some kind of indicator for that or something? I think there used to be one of the older animations being occasionally a lightning bolt came out of the character, wouldn't that work? I wasn't suggesting it for some kind of pill she could take for her symptoms, I consider drugs (Narcotics and Pharmaceuticals alike) to be wrong, because the relieve one symptom, while creating at least five more and creating dependance on an artificial system made to milk money from your sickness... No, I was recommending she see a doctor so she should determine a more healthy amount of time to be playing this game, because yea, FDA recommended exposure to games is about an hour at a time, and sure, not a lot of people pay attention to that... but health warnings exist for a reason. (My eyes paid for that-I don't trust the FDA to do it's job anymore, but that's another topic all-together.) Yes, I can't relate, any health problems I have don't involve that, I was recommending OP find a medical professional so she could find a healthier dose of time to play the game, because there MIGHT be more at work than a swirling cube, and if there is, (s)he should get that checked out BEFORE any new animations get out... But yea, I'm seeing the argument, forgive me for being the slowest son of a Gundark in the Galaxy... Yea, I can see the merit in limiting the player's animations graphics, preferably not interfering with others...
  18. Yea, like I posted, I misread it the first time... Second Edit: Yea, I keep misinterpreting it... Please forgive me. Still, if this animation causes a health issue, OP should seek out a medical professional, and I've seen the animation. I mean yea, it's cool, but I don't consider it all that distracting considering some of the other animations I've seen in this game.
  19. Actually, the pale effect is all over the body, I'm a Dark Side 5 Pureblood and when I turn it on my entire character goes a very light red... Respectfully, what dark side level is your character and had you taken off all your clothes to inspect the extent of corruption?
  20. The problem with just changing this into a sound effect is you wasted the time of the animators making a truthfully unique and great visual effect... I liked the visuals in SW:TOR, because I'm not pretending to electrocute people, I'm actually doing it, and in some cases, it looks painful like it should. If Dark Ward is distracting you from the role, my suggestion is to go into a corner, pop it, stare at the animation for ten minutes, and after that you should be bored of it and be able to continue as you were before. (Grapple used to be awesome for me, but doing it a thousand times has worn the edge, still kinda fun, but not nearly as much as before) If there is a health problem involved, you may want to speak to a medical professional and describe the exact situation and determine the exact cause... (maybe turn down the lighting a bit might help, probably not the actual problem, but sometimes it helps.) Those health disclaimers they give in manuals exist for a legal reason and as an actual health warning I don't think removing the animation is the answer, I've seen far more distracting ones done that had fewer complaints (Once again, I turn to Subject A: Kinetic Ward, along with Subject B: 30 Stacks of Fury/Centering, which has been around since Launch.) (( And no, I'm not trying to be an ******e, I misread the intent of the OP the first time. This time I'm actually trying to be polite in disagreeing with this thread. ))
  21. Is it seriously so bad that a spinning box and it's components will either keep people from doing their jobs as tanks, or honestly create health problems? I honestly thought this was one of those ridiculous threads asking for something insane... Well, I don't think you should be playing this game if it DOES cause those problems for the same reason you don't shove your hand in an active Meat Grinder, but it's fully in your right to ask if you think this'll help.
  22. Let's not make it a toogle, because yea, that can be kind of hectic to program, but some animations persist for 999 seconds (Twi'lek Parlor Dance lasts for 999 seconds or 9999, not sure which, but either one is an incredibly long time that actually makes it very feasible for roleplaying) However, another thing is there are times (because I have maxed out my presence score to almost the highest possible amount in the game without items) and my companion will still not be fully healed by the time I am done meditating/seething/what have you, so I have been forced into a situation where every time I need to rest it's actually more feasible to dismiss my companion, re summon them, and then do the actual rest ability. I don't need to explain this is very immersion breaking. However, I think it would also be great if we could have our companion make some kind of rest animation as well, for even greater immersion possibilities (how many rounds does Jorgan GET in his Assault Cannon anyway? I have to reload every other fight but I've never had to see HIM reload...)
  23. I can't even imagine how horrible it would be fore you to play a Jedi Shadow... Kinetic Ward is many floating rocks cycling around you... Sure, let's toggle off the animation for Dark Ward! Oh hey, that animation for Saber Reflect is annoying and makes it so other players know when to stop attacking me, let's turn that off! Oh yea, my Orbital Strike and Death From Above animations are annoying because they know to keep away from it, let's turn that off! Oh hey, it's really annoying WHEN PEOPLE ARE MARKED IN WARZONES, LET'S TURN THAT OFF. And you know what's really annoying? That giant beam when I'm trying to cap that makes it very obvious that I'm trying to cap the objective, LETS TURN THAT OFF! That is inevitably what will happen, so I'm sorry, but you might have to roll a new class or a new spec, because this just won't happen.
  24. Actually, I consider the animation and power in and of itself so awesome my Jedi Sage is a Miraluka JUST for it, otherwise I would have rolled a Pureblood...
  25. Bowcasters were only available during the Grand Acquisitions Race event, but I think they should bring them back for Armsmech, just make the current ones more... awesome, like maybe spikes on the bow part or a bayonet to make it so the ones who worked for it back then always have the better ones.
