Honestly, a full rage build is better for Warzones. It's just too much burst to pass up on. If we ever get PvP on a small scale (i.e. WoW's Arena), I personally am of the belief that PvP Vengeance will be the prevalent spec for that at higher levels of play.

I don't know where you're getting your information from, but it's COMPLETELY WRONG. Sundering Assault Instant Cooldown: 4.5s Range: 4 m Strikes the target for 814 - 923 damage, and reduces the target's armor by 4% for 15 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times. Builds 2 rage. The stacking is not multiplicative. It is a % armor reduction from the target's total armor and at it's highest (when stacked to 5), it removes 20%. As to use your example (the Mob has 10000 armor): Stacks - Armor Reduction = Armor Remaining 1: - 400 Armor = 9600 Armor Total 2: - 800 Armor = 9200 Armor Total 3: - 1200 Armor = 8800 Armor Total 4: - 1600 Armor = 8400 Armor Total 5: - 2000 Armor = 8000 Armor Total Please check your facts before spreading false information.

He's got a point, honestly. Slapping a trendy photoshop filter on an image is a really annoying trend that people have been in for the past ten or so years. It's not cool, unique, or artsy. It's gotten to the point where just about anyone with a trained eye or has significant experience in digital art sees it and goes "Not this again. People be trying to compensate for their lack of artistic vision with photos with filters. /scoff."

I've done 5/5 Nightmare EV and 5/5 HM Karaggas on 8 man (and cleared 16 man normal EV) as both Rage spec and Vengeance spec. It's quite viable. It's also incredibly convenient on some fights because it allows your group to run with one tank (you swap into soresu, tant & blow a defensive cooldown until the other tank takes it back). If you like the play style, do it.

I love how I said the exact same thing as another poster that you reacted favorably to (yet admitted that I have a problem with being brusque) and you still feel the need to talk down to me as if I was somehow "wrong" and "bad." Please, that just shows your own insecurity. You accuse me of not watching your video--of course I didn't watch your entire video. It was 49 minutes long. I apologize if I hit a sore spot and/or pushed your buttons, but that wasn't my intention--I was trying to help you so that you could make a better video that could better showcase your ability as a player. There's no need to get snide with me because you didn't like how I was saying something potentially informative. That's a very base adolescent behavior.

Honestly, I recommend using this spec instead of the one you're using. I highly recommend using shi-cho form unless you've got a healer in your warzone that's getting focused all to hell. 20% armor pen is really nice. What he said about guard medals is true; use your AoE taunts in big cluster fights, and use your single target taunts when someone's beating on someone other than you.

And I regularly get 5-7k Smash crits and 3-4k Force Scream crits as Rage, so yeah. Smaller hits.

Rage is big numbers, Vengeance is steady damage. Vengeance does more damage than Rage through lots of smaller hits and dots, but Rage is all burst.

If by people trolling me you mean the same one person that posts angry things on my wall every 6-months or so, then we agree about the "lulz." I've got a degree in film making from Maine Media College in Rockport, Maine, and I currently go to school at the New York Film Academy for acting. Look, I'm not here to troll you or to be your enemy. I may be harsh in my critique at times, but that's through my own faults and not meant in an attack. I said it before and will say it again; there are some very nice clips on your video, but they get lost in the sheer volume of the rest of them. I honestly think your video would be much better if you just used the best clips. You could cut it down to 3-5 minutes in length and it would be a great montage. Your misguided attempts to discredit me because you dislike what I'm saying serve no one's purpose, least of all yours. You should take a step back and honestly think about what I'm saying instead of getting defensive.

At this stage of the game, the content is far too easy for different potential in tanking classes to be a concern, but nonetheless there are some issues with all classes. They should hopefully be ironed out with time, but the biggest example of these issues are the tanking classes.

For one; I've got a degree in the film industry. I'd say that I've got a fair bit of experience with editing and movies. I'm giving him constructive criticism. If he wishes to take advantage of it, more power to him.

I've tried out both rage and vengeance for PvE. We've cleared Karagga's on Hard and EV on Nightmare, and I can say that I personally feel like I do more damage as rage. Burst seems to just help more, and I have more time on target.

Not really. I understand that you're defensive because I didn't compliment your video, but take what I say at face value instead of just rejecting it outright. I wasn't saying that your video should've been all about damage and big crits. What I was saying is that you should've cut out a lot of the clips in your video because it had some nice moments to it, but the sheer volume of the rest of the clips detracts from them. Sure, you can toss some smart plays in there; but be aware what those actually are. Every juggernaut has had plenty of charge kills and captures in Huttball; what makes your play different than the rest? That's what people want to see. Sure, you can showcase all the mediocrity you want, but that's still not what people want to see. What a video that long shows the educated viewers is that you either don't know what good play is or aren't able to pick and choose what clips you use. Personally, I lean towards the latter assumption, but my point still stands. I highly suggest that you remove the vast majority of the movie and allow people to appreciate your more intelligent plays.

1. Yes, we are the prot warriors of TOR. Our AoE is pretty weak, and we end up tab-targeting a lot. We mitigate fairly closely, as well. Currently, we're the go-to choice for high-end content due to our superior defensive cooldowns. 2. Our light side choices make us more of an honorable warrior type than a sappy carebear. 3. Up until around level 40 you can solo just about anything. I honestly recommend leveling vengeance, though. You retain survivability but get more damage out of it. 4. You can remod whatever you please; many of the heavy armor sets have cloaks with hoods. 5. I honestly recommend going each crafting profession as to make your rakata pieces, then switching back to biochem for your adrenals and stims. It's just too nice to pass up on.

Honestly, I don't understand how people say we're so weak. We really aren't. Our survivability is fantastic for the amount of damage we can put out. Pick Vengeance if you always want to be pressing buttons to do damage. Pick Rage if you want places in your damage rotation that you can choose what you press; be it more damage, interrupts, or control abilities.

It's unnecessary, honestly. You've got some good clips in there, but the sheer length of the video detracts from it. No one wants to watch a 49 minute video about someone else playing a game. No one.

Honestly, if you're making a montage, I'd cut out a lot of the scenes where you do something dumb like leaving the node to fight 1v1 and letting them cap, fighting off in a corner not contributing to team play at all, or failing at your choice action. Your video is unnecessarily long, poorly edited, and has poor choice of clips. With the clips in your video that are actually good and/or worth watching; your video would be under 5 minutes.
