  1. Well, we’ve killed cyborgs before… I think the Sith Sorcerer story on DK.
  2. Okay, I just checked. You need to get him to rank 50 before anyone else can unlock him. If there’s another way, I can’t find it
  3. I remember those ping levels back in 2011. SWTOR had problems with ISPs
  4. I’ll vote for that. Especially if we pay CC for them.
  5. Okay… I don’t buy that for a second, but thanks for giving me the “canon” answer.
  6. One of the SWTOR problems is when they introduce new material like that, everyone heads off to do it. But they don’t increase the resources people are hunting. Eventually the competition tapers off, but until then, it kinda sucks.
  7. Okay, I finally ran the “False Emperor” flashpoint yesterday (avoiding it since 2011) to put Onslaught and 6.3 into context. So, my question is: How did he come back? He didn’t die in a convenient explosion where we never recovered the body (which I expected based on the post KOTET dialogue). I beat him to death with my lightsabers. So, unless he has some sort of Darth Sion vibe from KOTOR 2, it seems problematic.
  8. Late to this thread, but where would I find the unlock?
  9. I had that problem. I think logging out and back in did the trick for me. I hope it works for you.
  10. I suppose you could try contacting the ombudsman of BW or EA, whichever one matters.
  11. I’m assuming he’s asking for information from people who might have dealt with it before. Whether or not the OP has a legitimate concern, I have no idea.
  12. Didn’t see it mentioned in the patch notes
  13. I think it could be the death blow for me if BW lost my main. I’ve played that toon since Early Access 2011.
  14. I’ve experienced this bug. When it happens, it keeps happening so you have to quit and try again later. He gets one shotted, then I get one shotted. Even if the health bar is full. I’ve noticed this tends to happen when the enemies outside of the boss room keep resetting.
  15. This is minor compared to the other concerns. But my loading screen still shows Onslaught
  16. That one took me a long time to learn. Now I get confused running *old* content boss fights.
  17. Indeed. Makeb was what taught me the system of: go to the planet and then immediately take the Speeder to every available location before beginning the quests to enable quick transport. Before then I just took the speeder as needed
  18. In my experience, I succeeded with 5 characters 1. Jedi Sentinel completed it in the 284 level pre-6.2. Multiple attempts and deaths. It was hard and I felt damned lucky when I finally succeeded 2 + 3 Sith (forget the name… the 2 weapon one) and Jedi Guardian cleared 6.2 with lower gear. I thought it was fixed 4. When 6.2a, I think they broke the fix. By this time, I was in 304 gear. I couldn’t advance my BH. I could waltz through everything up to that last boss. Then I started getting one shotted on the second wave. 6.3 was when i succeeded. At this point I was in 306 gear 5. Smuggler was in 306 gear when he succeeded. I hope my gear and my learned tactic will work for the rest. Maybe I could do it with lower level gear now that I know the tactic. But I think it requires a higher level of playing skill than Story-Solo should have
  19. Yeah, fighting any boss generally means “keep moving.” With the Smuggler Gunslinger and the Agent Sniper—where the playstyle involves being stationary, it can be a disadvantage. We’ll see how it all plays out on my remaining (non-duplicates*) characters: 1. Jedi Sage 2. Sith Sorcerer 3. Trooper Commando 4. Agent Sniper (* I do have duplicates so I can see the LS/DS story and the male/female romance options)
  20. It’s one of the more annoying recruitments. Fortunately I can have my main do the crew missions, but if you didn’t take those skills, you’ve got to pay even more. And then you have to wait for a rakghoul week to complete it. Small wonder I seldom recruit him.
  21. There’s potential in his character… I think he could be the one investigating who is the saboteur.
  22. I forgot about that one. Pre-6.3, I died a lot there.
  23. He’s obviously a red skinned human instead of a Sith Pureblood. I thought that looked tacky.
  24. The way it works is, you equip the gear to raise your gear level, then buy a new item equip and repeat. Once in a great while you get lucky but this is how I had to do it. Not a great system
  25. That makes more sense. These were characters created during early access. So I guess it’s possible that my default binds remained unchanged. I think I have the old keyboard layout sheet that came from the original AAA priced box lying around somewhere. I should see if I can dig that up.
