  2. The ammo change is specifically what broke pvp healing. When a player has a hp pool of 15k and takes 14k damage they need heals correct and of curse maybe 2 or 3 plyers will be in that situaton at once. So at that point its time for a healer to help those 2 or 3 players or maybe the healer himself and 2 others. Unotunately bh healers regardless of how good the player is can only heal one person for 10k before completely running out of resources and cds. Thats a simple way to make people understand y bh heals are broken. Peple take more damage even in a 1v1 then a bh healer can heal them for. Go ahead and find a bh healer who pvp, duel them let them get u to 1k hp then have them heal u the result will speak volumes about the design of bioare devs. Not onlt will they not be able to top u off if you have above 15k hp but by the time they even get close th remaining 25% of your hp will be rapid shot spam and will take 30 seconds not includng cds to come off cd before the bh healer can do it again. Bh heals are medpacks just instead of healing for 15% before being useless for 90 econds they heal for 30% then become useless for 90 seconds. Bravo BW bravo.
  3. So hes saying hes working as inended even thou he improved by 30% and stll was doing worse then another class. Dont bother evn answering these posts they prove our point with their comments. Hey bh heals are working i improved by almost 50% and still was way below another healer so the games definately good to go. Also sorcs are not working well either. People need to stp judging healing by the meters and pve. The best healer since wrath in wow has hands down been disc preist without them fights were unbeatable but they always had the lowest meter output because their core mechanic was not counted since it absorbed damage rather then healed it. The most imprtant thing about dics priest thou wasnt their spells or numbrs it was that they were and are fun. They had heals that were needed even if not as strong as another heal they had to make their main heals better. What healer would think to dps over heal and still acheive the same result? I know one a smite spec dosc preist. Now someon tell me where in this game is there aything as ngaging as that? Go ahead what healing ac. I said it bfore when they supposedly fixed sorcs broken mechnic before 1.2 they took out the only intresting mechanic healers in this game even had. Sorcs broken mechanics were better design then biowares fix for their supposed broken mechanic.
  4. Merc heals are useless in pvp completely useless. To take one to a serious pvp premade group is to basically give up. Sorcs would be good healers if they were invisible and no one saw them healing bcause once they call a focus fire on a sorc they are done within seconds. Ops are bettr now but it depends what u consider better since being the best ina group of the worst just means ur almost the worst. Healing on a competetive level in pvp is no longer viable. Sure ull see some people talk about how their premde healer did big numbers against a group of undergeared pugs but thats just ur fanbois. If you want to play a competetive class you have two choices in pvp a tank ac or a ranged dps ac thats it and really even ranged are basically only as good as thy are not detected. Tankin is king not because tanks are OP but because healing is not working and dps cant kill a tank before the tank kills them without heals. Basically a homerun acheivment by bioware 1.2 should get its own codex in game so we all remember why bioware is the worst developer of not only 2011but 2012 and the entire decade of 2010 to 2020 because bioware wont be given money again to make another mmo and no other developer will do as bad as bioware has done with this mmo.
  5. We used to have a pvp zone but thats now no longer a option. You get pvp gear by queing for wzs. The only other way to et comms is farming chest in the pvp world zones that spawn every couple hours but at best that will net u maybe 100 comm a day and if ur on a low pop server or i mean 99% of servers ur que will be long so may aswel ride around ur mount doing something. Personally u prob are better off doing pve dailies while u wait for que to pop as pvp is no loner a viable source of income whatsoever. Atleast if u pre purchased gw2 or have mop beta on the weekends u can actually pvp in a real game and just use swtor to fill ur weeedays unil those gams launch. Youll find these forums are probably the best advertising for other games. If i worked at blizz or arenanet id just copy paste swtor forums onto my advertisments. Not like the bioare devs have the balls to ever even respond to us with anything other then a thread lock or a coming soon 4 word sentence.
  6. Pvp is about winning or losing based on the players decisions not because of bad development by bioware. A recruit whos fighting a bm player should lose if the bm player has a advantage and the recruit makes a bad decision. Right now a recruit will lose to a bm player regardless of who makes the right or wrong decision in their playstyle. Ttk is way too low and needs to be doubled. You cant have mssive and grand pvp matches and wz or world fights that consist of people dying 5 seconds after they buff up. Until players can cycle thru their entire toolset or run out of resources then ttk is too low. I dont understand why people support a game with a playstyle that you can be killed by one or two players before you use up 70% of your resources. You should be able to go thru all ur cc and all ur cds and abilities before dying. Since a good pvper isnt judged by how many cds they push or burst they have in the first 5 seconds of a fight. Rather good pvprs are the ones who know what to do when u used all ur cds and are at 30% resources left. Thats when a good player has a chance to shine. Healing needs buffed not only to pre 1.2 but even more. Dps needs to be useful other then as ranged since right now the only good melee dps is a tanks dps. Tanks just need a little damage nerf they are fine living long and being great guards they do not need a nerf to survivability since nerfing their damage reduction onl hurts them but by buffing healing u fix healers and pure dps specs time to live. Again why nerf a tank and still have broken heals and dps when u can buff heals and fix dps and healer ac's. This game has less players and less world zones then it did a couple months ago. So please tell me bioware supporters how is that working as intended?
  7. Omg i can only imagine if macros were allowed. The healing would consist of one button. Already i find myself having to fill most of my time as a bh healer with rapid shots. Bioware didnt give the game auto attack but somehow decided that healrs needed it. When will bioware learn that having 6 heals and 3 of them being useless really only means u have 3 heals. Seriously i mean before 1.2 i had kolto shell and scg after 1.2 i hvent even used them since they only lead to me being less effiient and hold my healing back. Thats just one example frm one of my pvp healers. I can list for every healing class more abilties i cant and dont use then abilities i actually use. I have more fun with my dps rotation as a healer then my healing rotation. So not only is pvp healing useless and completely shutdown once a healer is focused but its also painstakingly boring and non of the abilities even work off eachother. I mean sorcs supposedly had a broken mechanic before 1.2 imo that was the only intresting mechanic any healer class even had. I mean bioware made healing more fun when they coded sorcs the wrng way then when they coded them the right way or i mean bioware way.
  8. You want 4 peice first BM first so dont waste comms on anything before that unless you want the weapon which is personal preference. You should get recruit relic, implants, earpeice and off hand those are secondary to 4 peice and weapon. I found the gloves, helm, chest and legs are all equal so buy in whatever order you want for BM gear. The boots should be last as they arent itemized as well as the other 4 armor peices imo. So you want 1 4 peice bm or weapon 2 then recruit for rest of slots 3 start replacing recruit with BM 4 once full BM start replacing the BM pices in the same order with WH and youll need BM peice to get equal WH peice anyway. You could also if you like a certain look of a teir of pvp gear to buy the crafted pvp gear but to fill the slots youll need BM gear mods, enchant, armor, etc. Also you need to find as you level what spec you want to play so you buy appropriate set bonuses. Fortunately if you are a assassin there is only one viable spec thats tanking. If your a sorc then either healing or hybid madness but again healing is broken right now so you may want to stick with ranged dps sorc.
  9. Exactly. Considering bioware nerfed medpacks because they were too powerful of heals in pve and broke content so pve healing is not some amazing thing that takes work. Once u down a boss you heal the raid everytime after the xact same way. In pvp you heal one person one way and the next second you have to heal anoher player a different way. Again healing or dps or tankin isnt easy by themselves in pve. Pve itself is easy and makes everything easy you do to complte it. If you can do rainbow road in mario kart u can complete any pve content in this game. Healing is broken in pvp and bioware builds the game like pvp and pve are the same. Which again leads to even more issues. Since the beginning the game and the advertising and interviews all said pvp was equal to pve in terms of dev focus. Bioware even made a pvp only area which most mmos never even make for their games. So the pvp community has been screwed over again and again. 1.2not only took away the pvp zon, broke pvp class balance specially healing and pure melee dps and the one thing pvpers looked forward too ranked wzs was pulled hours before launch. I dont care what anyone says to make a point supporting bioware in regards to pvp because bioware has proven they cant nd wont deliver on what they said they would. The few pvpers left will be gone come 1.3 im sure many arent waiting for it to go live they are simply waitin for the patch notes snce bioware again with their non working and broken ptr wont change anything from the testing the community does.
  10. Well keep pvping is your first to do. Second farm the chests in tatoine pvp area becuase they drop comms and also have a chance to drop recruit pvp gear. Grab recruit relics After that you should focus on getting your 4 peice bonus first so you want to spend comms on boots, legs, chest, helm and gloves so your first 5 peices for BM gear hould be those slots then buy the recruit weapon and offhand and then earpeice and implants. You can buy the recruit boots, legs, chest, helm and gloves but you should have enough expertise to be somewhat competetive even if you dont buy them and just buy the recruit weapon, off hand, relic, implants and earpeice. If you can afford to get evry peice then definately get it but if you have high ilvl pve gear to fill the 5 peice armor slots you can still have some fun before gettin blown up. Unfortunately pvp in this game isnt decided by a players bad decisions but rather the gear gap and bad class balance. Hopefully one day a player in recruit gear when fighting a player in BM gear will lose because they made a bad decision when the BM geared player had a advantage rather then losing no matter if played perfectly or not. Again thou thats one of a tousand issues bioware refuses to acknowledge or fix. Hopefully you are rolling a tank spec since right now that consists of about 80% of the useful classes this game has in pvp. Good luck and see you on the battlefield.
  11. First off pve healing isnt easy pve in genral is easy so healing is not a issue there. Pve healing is not the issue of not being doable its just not any fun or engaging. Healing in pvp is the exact oposite broken. Primarily bh heals are very bad then sorcs and even ops need a little more luv still. Pve is preset and predetermined damage and once you do it once after thats its easy everytime. Pvp is opposite its never the same resources r used until drained nothing stops until u run out. Pve u heal a tank 80% of time raid the rest unless u have assignments then u focus on one only. Pvp targets can be focued by 8 people and swapped immediately so healers need to be able to save 3 to 4 people being rotated on by a group of atleast 4 dps/tank/whatevr is attacking them. Healers in pvp cant keep up themseves and one or two people for a short time hardly thru 3 focused bursts. Bh healers cant even 1v1 nontheless heal anyone else. Sorcs if focused become only self healers. Even ops need a buff as expertise damage skyrockets. Changes need to be made 1.3 is the be all end all or myself personally. Alot people already hitthat point with 1.2 and alot are barely hanging on to playing. 98% of serers are low pop just like 98% of players are not happy on these forums.

  13. Ok thats great u have perfect healing in nightmare modes with no heat issues and u r the best pvper without even using pvp gear. Thats great. Now can we move on to the problems the community has not just talk about how perfect you are. If you are better then anyone and nothing is difficult then you conradict urself above when u say its engaging content and healing model. How bad of a design is it when u are a CM and never have heat issues and how bad is gearing when u always are top of charts without even having 1 peice of pvp gear (which kinda makes no sense since exertise buffs healing done). Somehow ur a CM which before 1.2 couldnt top the charts and ones that did 400k were the best players but now somehow after the nerf you are beating sorcs and ops who have always had much higher numbers then CM healers usually double what a CM does if not triple. Dude common.
  14. I dont know what game ur playing but this game is no where near engaging or on the level with haling in wow. Raiding was so easy they nerfed healing to make up for lack of encounter design. Also people cannot cmpare pve to pvp. While healing works in pve and is very easy its the exact opposite in pvp. Pvping as a CM is beyond pointless i dont care how good a player or their gear is no one feels like they accomplished anything at the end of a wz as a CM. Pve wise all healing trees work considering that if your group doesnt stand in aoe, u can dispel on one fight, and can stack or spread out then u easily can beat any level of raid in swtor. The encounters in mario bros was more in depth then any swtor raid atleast i had to jump over the shell and land on it 3 times to kill the boss. Like the poster above said something needs to be done to fix pvp healing. Period. Its broken.

You are spot on eith every word and i only wish bioware does something to gain someone like u back. I dread the day when i too make the same post ill prbabl copy paste yours. Im just waiting for patch 1.3 notes and then make a decision. By the way cleric in rift was sper op too at r8. Must be a cleric thing.

  18. First off leaderboards mean nothing especially against pugs. If they did then bh heals need a 300% buff to catch the number a bad sorc or op can do. You can lead the board healing the damage u do to urself in a corner and never heal another person as a sage. Healing is an art u get btter the less u heal but still accomplish the same goal as you did the match before healing for more. Just because numbrs are high doesnt mean u did ur job whatsoever.
  19. Your last sentence is the biggest issue if this game wll have a future. Untl the ptr is fixed everything will remain broken. Healers need buffs or pvp will never be fun and everyone who is serious about it will need a tank toon. When ranked wzs come out evryone who thinks that healing is bearable will realize its broken. Just because ur premade can go against low geared pugs and you can put out ok healing ad still have a hard time enjoying it does not mean when u face another premade you wll be ok. As it stands now if ranked wzs came out and nothing changed any team that is going to be serious about rating will run 4 tanks and 4 ranged dps. Otherwise you will lose. Healing as it stands is a bad option to take over another tank or ranged dps. Even melee dps which really now is tanks since al viable melee dps roles are also worthless when compared to a tank is not worth taking. Ranged dps an tanks will be what wins no other team will no matter how much some people think that healin and pure melee dps will matter. Bioware tried it their way with metrics and all weve seen as a result is a loss of subs. There are no more excuses bioware and if youve run out of excuses with your playerbase then your boss at work is next. So be vague make dumb changes ruin a good thing and forget about keeping players worry about keeping your jobs. The future is here for u now bioware you literally have patch 1.3 to make the game a success or failure and if you dont fix what youve done well then yourgoing to be the only one to blame. Unless of course it took 500 million and half a decade to make rift with lightsabers. The longer it takes before we see patch notes means the less time well have on ptr. Bioware you need to get a ptr with transfers up asap. With clas changes that dont nerf tanks and buff dps. You need to bring up healers and pure melee dps and redo what is in game. Tanks need to be strong but not because everyone is weak but because you designed them well. Nerfing and buffng every patch to keep one person happy and make anothr angry while thegames desing is still crap underneath it all will not help. We need ilum back too people paid for 5 zones and were at 4 right now. Stop trying to do what u think and start doing what we say. As it stands now u have less subs and less zones then u did 4 months ago forget the rest and please tell us how your metrics tell you what ur doing is working as intended?
  20. Another issue bioware created was not allowing healers to do anything but healing. Atleast if say u play a disc priest evn if they nerf your healing u can still dps as smite spec, u can dispell and cleanse (since it matters in wow, even thou its useful in this game in pvp its not a piority and u can do just as well nevr cleansing as u would cleansing) you can mana drain or set up cc chains you can b useful and fill other roles. Right now take a bh healer for example they got their healing nerfed and have become useless because the one role they filled cannot be done as well or as easy as another healer. Sorcs are useful and good if never focused u can stay back and heal. Ops hae hots and are less visible to the enemy and can blanket a group and run away. Bh heals are just horrible even if not focused thy cannot heal more then 7 casts without cds up and draining their resources. Sorcs need a survivability buff. Ops need to be able to cast diagnostic scan on the move. Bh heals need to get their heat back until then theyll never be fixed. Healers all of them need more reasons to do somethingother then heal, cleanse needs to become inportant u should be able to help someone by cleansing them as much as it would help to heal them. As a healer you have more buttons to push for dps as u do healing. People dont want to die thats y they stack expertise and roll tank toons. Endurance is the best stat for every class and spec in this game. I dont care what anyone says when u have hp pools this low 200 of a primary stat will not sav u as much as 2k more hp will. People have more fun playin a match that ends at the last second win or lose that had 5 deaths bewteen both teams and people got a chance t use all their abilities. No one likes matches that are lost causes ithin the first 2 minutes because one team has more tanks and the dps team cant stay alive because healers wont que or are not useful. No one wants to rez, die, rez, die and get no chance to do anything but buff up then die. Right now u dont last long enuff to use more then 4 or 5 abilities befre u die or kill the other person. Ttk is too short its not fun. Wzs are lopsided the end is always 90% to 10% when people want a 60% to 40% win/loss. Its all due to healing being underpowered. People want to be able to cc and dps and manuever to win and feel like they accomplished something. Win or lose when all it takes is 2 cds and 3 abilities the game is boring. New players should lose when undergeared to a geared player but not strictly becuse of gear they should be able to go thru all their moves even if they lose not get 3 shot cause they are undergeared. Bioware made a statement saying u need expertise to lower ttk. Thats just plain dumb and offensive. The pvp cmmunity knows that. Bioware still beleives its us lol. Its not us its them and the way they designed the game. Even the xpertise changes were done backwards. Dps expertise should scale the least not the most healing and damage reduction should be worth more then dps is for expertise. That alone would fix ttk. Bioware contradicts themseleves with their changes they nerf classes to lower burst then buff damage. They use stupid metrics when everyone knows in pvp metrics mean nothing. We need a pvp dev who actually pvps not a number cruncher. As a bh id rather do 100k haling and save peopl thru burst and mutliple attackers then do 500k healing that saved no one. Step 1 and this is the only step that matters right now is FIXING THE PTR so we can actually test and tune changes. Bioware thinkgs taking a guy in greens vs a guy in purples and then using the numbers to balance them rathr then taking all the clsses puttin them in equal gear levels and then basing changs on a controlled testing enviroment. Until they fix the tests the results as we see now in 1.2 speak for themselevs. Broken across the board.
  21. I dont know what the devs r doing but before anything else they need to start communicating. All we have is thousands of forum posts and no responses. Patches notes need to be put up earlier and the pts tested earlier. Every issue this game has could have been less of an issue if the ptr did what a ptr is supposed to do. The fact we cant test anything properly leads us to where we are now playin a untested improperly changed game. Healing is broken a healer to make a game fun for all players should be able to keep atleast 3 to 4 people up. When ranked comes out if teams dont consist of 2 tanks 2 heals and 4 dps the balance is not right. Sure some teams may have different comps but if done right that should be the balance. 2 healers hould be able to keep up thei teams thru burst and extended aoe damage. Right now a healer cant even keep themselves and another person up if they are being focused without wasting all resources. Because of that ttk is shorter and everyone wants to play a tank since they livethe longest. People want long smart fun matches not gibfests. Look at the game bioware the reason classes are bing droped for the 2 or 3 viable choices is because you made horrible changes. Youd gain subs if you just reverted nrfs from pre 1.2 witout coming up with anythin else new. Stop trying to make new stuff. There are areas perfected in other games u needto copy. If you are building a car its ok to use tires even thou everyone else does u dont need to reinven the wheel just copy it.
  22. Bh heals shouldnt even be considered as a healer. Theyve been completely disassembled in pvp. They have nothing to offer a group. There is nothing they do anoher healer cant to better with less effort. A bh healer in warhero is not as good as an op or sorc in recuit gear. Thats just what they can do there are alot more things sorcs and ops can do a bh doesnt even poses to evenbe worse then them at. Now dont get me wrong u spit on a sorc and they die but atleast they don run out of resources between deaths so they can get off atleast 10 heals before being killed. A bh cant cast more then 7 times without using a cd or becoming resouce starved. There is no where but up to go as a bh atleast. Bh healers dont even need to be killed all u have to do is dps their target for moe then 10k hp and wait for the bh to heal them since at that point they will have no more heat to use to heal anymore damage. Forget a group enviroment a bh healer cannot even 1v1 another class and live. Ops are good but not awesome. Bh heals and sorcs need to be brought up to them not the other way around. One more heal nerf and healing will not exist anymore its already barely hanging on. Healing is broken. Bh healers are just disturbingly bad in pvp regardless of who is playing them no amount of skill will make up for what bioware did to them in 1.2.
  23. Lol Seriously thou Bh heals are worthless in pvp even if played perfectly u still cant keep people up. No playstyle helps when after 6 casts ur heat capped. Thats the issue is that unless there is another healer there the moment u heal more then 8k damage u r useless until u regen every resource and cds come off cooldown. Good or bad players dont matter the class itself is broken.
  24. Medpacks if u wanna be a off spec healer. If u wanna go full heals then ay class with a heal and medpack. Whatever u do dont spec into any healing tree.
  25. Omg not normal mode the reason healthpacks were nerfed since it can be cleared without heals lol. Did u die when u healed 600k? If u even died once then its broken. Id rather heal 100k and sta alive then 600k and die. Stop being a fanboy. When ur mom grounds u do u tell her how right she is for doing it?
