  1. News just in.. 1.2 was not the Jesus Patch. It was the Brain Patch.. often mistaken for the Jesus Patch but wont save any one.
  2. I came back for the Rated WZ. Quit you say.. great advice from the community. I guess you can think of nothing positive to say about the future of PvP in Swtor.
  3. I bought Swtor on the day it became available, I was quite excited at launch. I loved the leveling experience (first run through) but got bored at end game. I consider myself a PvP centric player, I was looking for some Open World action... I just didn't happen. I cancelled my Sub to go play other games with better PvP. I watch 1.2 as it loomed, and I thought GREAT.. they are getting their act together Wo0T I Renewed my Sub. Now, the class balance has been kicked in the nuts, and the patch actually brakes the game. My experience with Swtor has not been great. I feel like a fool for re subbing. People please, What do I have to look forward to in this game that warrants me keeping my sub going? Honestly Im struggling to find reasons, I have been away a while, so what am i miising? Please tell me what is upcoming that will make Swtor a great game for PvP?

  5. OMG.. Really!! You dont reresent the "Avid MMo Community" and to say that you should expect a game to be nothing more than a beta for the first year post launch is ridiculous.
  6. OMG the TORtanic has hit 1.1 and is sinking.... EMERGENCY! Quick men deploy the Life Raft of Promises.. its our only hope! cue vt
  7. What a load of toss in the OP. "Sith are Kool and bad ***.. Jedi are G*y and weak" is how people see it. Thats the cause of the imbalance, its a matter of perception. Everyone wants to be a ******. You realkly have over thought this.
  8. I could not disagree with you more. Both brackets are PvP'n. Neither is a superior form than the other. How are pre 50's failing to PvP? How are they gonna get "Schooled" post 50?
  9. AoC went from 700,000 subs at launch to 150,000 in 6 weeks. I think SWtor has lost more peoples, but probly a lower percentage of it sub base.
  10. WOW.. I havnt seen such a MMo fail so hard since AoC. "Biofail" just dosnt have the same ring to it as "Failcom" does tho
  11. I havnt seen this much Nerd Rage on forums since Failcom announced that TSW would have a Subscription and Micro Transaction store..... I <3 u Hinternets
  12. I have sat quiet, just reading this thread. But I had to /agree with this man. Those that power level'd to 50 got easy Valor farming lowbies in WZ. Now others get easy Valor because of poor design decisions in Ilum. PvP is such a mess. Depending on when u rolled and what faction u choose has given u a very differnt lvl'n curve. PvP should be about competative skill based team work / dueling. SWtor PvP has been unbalanced and one sided. Real shame.... cant be fixed only patched.
  13. I have not renewed my subscription to SWtor past the 19th. I will not re-sub until EA / Bioware publicly oppose SOPA / PIPA. /end
  14. I know, calling some one Fanboi is the required respones to someone saying that ur Whining... lol My argument is this; I bought Swtor to play PvP, I came late because I had reservations. I was convinced by blog's that you could level via PvP in Swtor, this swung it for me cos i dont like Theme park PvE but a big SW fan. I start playing and discover that most people are just quitting WZ when they matched against 50's. I see more and more 50's and am unable to compete in any way with them. Im getting farmed. Im told that the soultion is to "Stop playing, go do PvE until they fix it cos its only been 3 week and it was not possible to have this sorted at launch". If I pay for a game to PvP, but cant cos In totally outmatched with no option but to endure getting farmed for several months until im well geared.. then I call that game broken. (As I only play a few hours a day, it would take me 6 to 8 weeks to get to cap when loosing all the time) Good news is that they will patch 50's into their own WZ. Bad news is that when i get to 50 I will have to compete against 50's who were given their Battlemaster gear by farming low lvl's. I will have to fight them to get mine. Honestly... thats not a great selling point.
  15. Im not whining, I stating that the PvP is gear based and that a section of the community has been given an advantage over a majority of people. I think that gear based Pvp is outdated and not that much fun. I was not aware that the Pvp was so unbalanced until I started playing. Now that im aware I will turn my attention to D3 and GW2. The Pvp is on its Arse because the vast majority of people are not enjoying it. I started playing Swtor with 6 others, 5 of them have completly lost interest, Im 50/50 and my other friend loves it. They could have got this right from the start, they could have designed it better, they didnt.. there is no QQ'ing.. stop being such a Fanboi.
  16. Exactly.. PvP is flawed by design so that it could not even go 3 weeks before it fell on its Arse. I only started playing recently, I play 3 or 4 hours a day. I have a lvl 20 and I like to level in PvP. Heres what I see; 1) I join a WZ and people complain cos im low lvl, say that I should go away and quest until Im higher lvl. 2) I stay, and get farmed by 50's. I hit for very little, they face roll me. This is most matches, I will have to endure this until I get to 50, then I can be facerolled by 50's in Battle master gear. Hmmm, 3 weeks in and a new player is already side lined. A small percentage of the population are having fun. The majority are not. Do you think that this will help make SWtor a success? Personaly Id rather play a PvP based game centred on skill not gear. 3 weeks in and on its Arse... dosnt that tell you something?
  17. I completely disagree, 50's should have been bracketed immediatly. They have given a tiny percentage of the playerbase a massive advantage in not doing so. Now the majority of people have to play against people who were given an advantage. In doing so, they have unbalanced the game in such a way that it now cannot be properly balanced out. Some PvP'ers were given easy time to get Battlemaster gear (because the preordered and powere lvl'ed)... so the most committed PvP'ers now are the best geared, then let the rest of the community compete against them.. Wow that sounds like fun, Not! PvP should be fun and competative, not what u have in Swtor.
  18. The way Bioware has handled the PvP in this game has been very disapointing. They have rewarded people who power level to cap by giving them low lvl players to farm. For players who wanted to take their time and enjoy many aspects of the game have been gimped. The disparagy is immense and will only continue to get worse. I dont want to be matched against people who have been given an advantage because they raced to cap, so I also will be cancelling my sub and waiting for GW2.
