unload is awesome for harassing healers, and missile blast is awesome for crappy AOE (when you need to stop a cap). I keep these two on crap keys, but still hittable if I need them (shift 5 and shift 6). The only time unload belongs in PVE is when you're tanking and you won't get hit for the entire duration, but even then it's just a filler. Heroic Moment and Shoulder Slam are the only two abilities that don't have a place on my bars; they are only useful for solo PVE (like dailies) and I don't really do solo PVE. They are ridiculously powerful abilities if you can use them, though.

Taunting a healer does nothing your special "different" color choice is difficult to read, stick to an obnoxiously bright color like the rest of you different color folks ps: this spec still sucks

I still use WASD (no keyboard turning) but to be honest i'm running 90% of the time with my two mouse buttons down. ESDF is nice and all, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

My healers would murder me. I don't roll parakeet to be a damage machine, I roll parakeet to be able to kill people while still being a tank. I am still a tank.

The reason no one talks about powertechs is because no one plays them. I don't know why, rocking the parakeet spec is the most fun I've had in an mmo in years. ps i'm 50 and rank 59 and most of what OP said is sorta true. Learn to play.

Tanks always get medals faster/more medals than dps. If you run parakeet 9-10 will be your average per game, which is great for the grind to valormaster. THAT SAID Medals don't win games

The extra damage you could put out using vent heat slightly more often is most likely almost definitely less than the damage you would get from 60% armor penetration.

Basically I re-enhanced all of the pieces with the combat tech gloves. It takes a whiiiile, but you've got nothing better to spend your champion commendations on after you build your super commando set and before you hit valormaster. I wouldn't suggest using the centurian enhancements because they're a lower level enahncement than are already in the supercommando set. You'll lose a lot of HP by going down to the lower level stuff. Also, a neat tip, expertise is usually always > HP as a good rule. However, I find myself using full PVP gear with rakata shield/belt/bracers. Boosts up that HP to make warzone potions heal for close to 7K.

these abilities are included to let tanks/healers do dailies by themselves without complaining about lack of damage.

5% damage while guard is up is pretty powerful, because if you're playing right it should just be a static 5% damage increase 99.5% of the time. re-enhance that set with the enhancements from the combat tech glove mods (power+surge). boom goes the dynamite.

Guard/taunt is the entire reason I like pvp in this game.

i've been told this type of pvp doesn't exist anymore because wow told players that you need a gear reward for everything you do here's to hoping someone breaks that paradigm soon

I will also be kicking people with 12k-13k hp. Not even being a dick. I don't care if you're bad if you're new, you gotta learn somewhere. But don't come into my warzone with 10k hp. You can get a few crafted things, run 2 four man instances and THEN come back when you have 13-14k. You will still be in garbage gear but at least you wont get completely pooped on. You help nobody when you get pooped on.
