  1. If you want to quit then by all means quit, but anyone who thinks their demands are going to be met because they made a post on a forum demanding certain content or they quit is a moron.
  2. I disagree with your post but I give you props for throwing in the Ochostinko comment!
  3. People do not want to spend time leveling anymore, they want the vast majority of content to be "end game" or top level content. It is just the way things are now. That is why games like WoW offer items to automatically take you to level 80 if you re-subscribe or games offer start a new character at level XX when you get your main to top level. SWTOR is unique becaue they made the game so you can actually enjoy leveing the character and the characters story if you want, or you can space through the conversation and get to a high level quickly. I'm honeslty surprised more MMOs have not done away with leveling all together and just have everyone start at the same level and you progress through gear alone. That seems to be the way things are moving.
  4. Level cap is a number that makes absolutely no difference, the factor is time to get to max level. You can call it level 2000 if you want, if it takes the same amount of time to get there it is basically the same. In the "good ole' days" in games like EQ people would play for years and years and never have a top level character. The community was a lot stronger and the players were a lot better back then but the games didn't appeal to as many people so they were not as profitable. So in short the answer is, because it is more profitable to have people reach max level quicker.
  5. If they go to microtransactions I will just find another game to play. No big deal, no "I quit QQ" thread, just find one of the other hundred MMOs out there and play that. I just don't do "pay for advantage" games, the rest of the entire world is already a "pay for advantage" world I would just as soon skip the video games made that way.
  6. That is funny because half the people leave saying this isn't enough like WoW.
  7. It is really fun spending the whole match at an empty door on my Powertech keeping the stealthers off the door to have someone look at your damage and call you a noob!
  8. I think the biggest challenge to a hardcore PVE Min/Maxer is that in PvP you can't really plan how the fight is gonig to take place. In PvE you can sit down and figure out the fights, watch videos, gear accordingly, plan the raid/group accordingly and tell the guild when to move out of something or to stand in a certain place. In PvP it is a madhouse and anything can happen at anytime. That isn't to say you can't get a pre-made and make plans like you do in PvE, but if you end up against another pre-made that has different plans you either adjust quickly or you lose. PvE is more about planning and executing a well designed plan and PvP is more about planning and then sc****** your plan and thinking on your toes. To me both offer a fun and unique experience. I don't buy the whole warzones are not real PvP argument, I have played to many real world PvP games and it is just a half dozen of one or 6 of the other. They both add something and they are both lacking soemthing. In open world PvP you have stealthers and ranged players by far dominating in almost every open world PvP game. You also never would get the type of situation you have in something like Huttball. It would be nice if SWTOR had more open world PvP but it is like anything else, the other way always seems so much better until you are there and realize the grass ain't greener either side of the hill.
  9. It is debated, but personally I like it. If you time the "explosion" with a railshot and rocket punch it can make for some good burst damage.
  10. God we can only hope this is the truth! There are so many places on the internet to go and whine .. go there and have a nice trip!
  11. If that is really how the OP sees this change then God yes I hope they are trying to get you to unsub.

    *** daily

Aside from the other three hundred threads about this that you could have just added on to, you can still win only 3 matches and that counts for the daily. This can NEVER make you have to PvP longer, if anything it just lets you out if you lose 6 times in a row.
  13. MMOs are totally out the door, that is why they are played far more now than ever in history, there are multiple launching every month and they are one of the most profitable types of gaming ever established in history. Yea they are totally going bye bye, that is probably why MMOs are gaining more people every year than they ever had before.
  14. Or .. shocking concept alert .. classes are different and not everyone is supposed to be good at the same thing and they take changes of style to master.
  15. Problem, logic? Well with such a well designed experiment It is very hard for me to find any PROBLEMS with your analysis and LOGIC tells me this must be true based on your huge sample pool.

    SWTOR Is Dying

Someone needs to just come out and say this ... "Idiots if SWTOR was really dying the way you all cry about it you would NOT be here to tell us it was dying you would be on the great new MMOs boards talking about how great that new MMO is".

    6 wins? Really?

Yes if your goal is to get credits then PvP is not for you, but what exactly do you do with a ton of credits in this game since all of the best gear is earned?
  18. It isn't that hard to figure this change out. People wanted to finish their dailies but when you are looking at running 10+ matches in a night to get your 3 wins there were a lot of people that couldn't finish their dailies because they just ended up on bad teams. Now the only difference is if you can't win 3 matches you only have to attempt six. That way you should be able to finish it in a couple hours on a bad night where you just can't win and PvP is slow to pop.
  19. So after reading these forums is there any class that doesn't need a nerf?
  20. Yes you could go in and do the least effecient and longest possible way to get PvP gear while ignoring actually doing PvP if you want, and you could get maybe one piece of gear every couple weeks from sitting in a PvP zone doing nothing .. but why on Earth would anyone do that and how would it make any sense? Why would anyone even grind for PvP gear if they are not planning on actually doing PvP when they are in PvP?

    6 wins? Really?

The daily is really not that important, great you get some commendations but nowhere near what you would get from just winning those matches. If you are grinding PvP for the dailies I think you missed the point entirely.
  22. The MMO bombardment started like 5 years ago .. there are more MMOs than you can count anymore.
  23. I would say the ASUS if you are confident it won't break or have any issues. ASUS makes great stuff, until it breaks, then you are in to one of the worst warranty support nightmares you can imagine.
  24. I honeslty don't think people care that much about server reputation. There are people with so many 50's now that you could hate someone and then end up grouping with them again later and have no clue it was the person you despise. Also this is the internet people will always go out of their way to be jerks regardless of if they are on the same server or not.
