  1. Regardless off SSD, the bottle neck is the interface. SATA vs PCIe. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227976 I say its your internet connection. At 56Mbps aka 7MB, I went to a full install in an hour.
  2. Personally, I believe that piloting 2 should increase by 10% and 3 should increase by 20%. Currently, those speeders can't possibly moving faster than 25-30 mph. If you are ever near someone of a piloting level 1 under you, you barely inch your way past them. It isn't a significant difference between speeds.
  3. If I don't have an active card on my account, then how am I subscribing? Why do I have to make a minimum purchase before taking advantage of the ingame feature?
  4. I think having clickable adjacent galactic sectors would make switching /viewing areas in Galactic Map easier. Currently we have to back out and select a different area. We should be able to see adjacent surrounding areas and click on them so we can pan over to see the new current area we would like to view.
  5. I think it's time we remove those 2 small rooms in the spawn area, move vendor to the waiting room, and just start off in the main spawn area, like all the others. Huttball is the only warzone that we don't start off in the waiting area and have to run up to the barrier. You can argue that in Novare Coast you aren't by the barrier, but technically you are in waiting area, it's just sectioned off. I don't get the idea off spawning on a platform though, before running to either barrier. I'd prefer it to be like Civil War or Voidstar. It's not a game breaker, it's just inconvenience.
  6. I don't know how an operative can take you to 50% (15k+) health in 1.5 second (duration of Hidden Strike w/ knockdown perk) with Acid Blade and lets say Backstab which should have more DPS. I prefer to use shiv and then hit Acid Blade again before using Backstab after Debilitate. But anyways, I've played Concealment spec and Debilitate should be an addition 4 seconds. Stealth classes' rely heavily on stealth to open attacks. If you fight them out of stealth and they don't use it to their advantage, you'll find out how squishy they are. All classes have defensive cooldown that you can use. If you choose not to use them that's on you. I wait until my resolve bar is full and I'm getting gang banged to use my CC breaker. If I'm not in any "real" danger I save it. If you've played a stealth class before, you know how to think like one. There have been plenty of times that I have guessed where they would be, and they seem pretty surprised, when my stealth Scan or AoE hits them without prior knowledge. Even if they Use Blackout, you have a chance to heal if they aren't ready to come back with their second rotation. If you can DoT them or make them waste their Blackout, most likely they'll Exfiltrate out.
  7. I know it's not what you want to hear but, Jesus Christ, learn to play. Not one good player I know uses their stun breaker on the first stun. Obviously you use it at least on the second because they can't stun you again. If you're guarding a pylon, you should at least be 30m away from the far end of the pylon so that when you're CC is over, you can still hit them with a ranged ability. If you're fighting a Sniper /Gunslinger, have you ever thought of using you Force Camouflage? It'll prevent them from targeting you with "Well Aimed Shot". If you're that bad, maybe you shouldn't be in a warzone.
  8. Why is it their range on stealth scan is greater than that of a normal player? Their stealth scan even works well after the droids have returned.
  9. Idk what you're talking about being "totally wrong". I said for this game. Yes the SWTOR runs 2 processes and if he's only playing this game, those 2 processes wont need more than 4GB RAM. If he plans on listening to music and/or browsing the internet at the same time, yes he should get 8GB of RAM.
  10. Personally for this game, currently you wont need more than 4GB RAM since it runs off a 32-bit client. If you do other things while playing 8GB is plenty. I have an i7 Intel quad-core and it does nicely so I'm pretty convinced an i5 would suffice. A motherboard socket number, for the CPU, and DDR3 compatibility for your RAM is important. There are faster HHD. I believe they go as fast as 15000 RPM. I personally have a SSD with PCIe interface which has a faster hard drive to RAM transfer speed as well as a higher read and write speed. Some BIOS features include a Maximum Payload size set to 128 by default. I put mine to 4096 to increase packet size. My graphics card is a GTX 660 ti and I love it, but I need another motherboard that support PCI3.0. Motherboards are backwards compatible, but I'm not using my graphics card to its full potential. Can't think of anything else atm.
  11. It would be more believable if when right before they massed at the end, the frames dropped to 10-15 fps and half the people DC'd.
  12. Why do the majority of the Bounty Hunter contract week photos only show Bounty Hunters if the event is open to everyone? Everything advertised about the event mentions guns and whatnot as if only for a specific class when that isn't the case.
  13. First off I'm not talking about Armor Class. I'm talking about having to be a Bounty Hunter, Sith Warrior, Jedi Knight, etc. to put on specific gear. I can't put Akaavi Spar in Powertech gear as it requires Bounty Hunter, I can't put Malavai Quinn in Hooligan gear as it requires Sith Warrior or Imperial Agent. Those are the only 2 off the top of my head I can think of with examples. I think removing class requirements would allow those that gear up their companion and dress them to further customize them.
  14. First, I would like to say adding mission rewards to the Mission Log was great, but nothing is indicated what rewards are given for completing bonus objectives. It would make sense if there is no extra reward for completing bonus objectives. If there are additional rewards, shouldn't an extended rewards be added on to the current system to indicate what more you would receiving from completing bonus objectives? Secondly, I was just curious why some mission allow me to complete bonus objectives after completing the main objective while others show the mission fully complete after completing the main objective whether i finished the bonus or not.
  15. I'm not sure, but there were some mobs found in the heroic area for imperials. One of them I had to spawn the mobs from the heroic Poisonous Strategies in order to kill a Jedi.
  16. ◘ Allow complexed family trees and multiple relations. Example: I want my Sorcerer and my Juggernaut to be friends, my Sentinel to be enemies with my Juggernaut, my Shadow to be friends with my Sentinel, and my Sorcerer to be enemies with my Shadow. Essentially forming a square. Once a relationship has been established we no longer have access to other nodes. I can't have an apprentice if I have a friend and enemy. Can't have more than one friend or enemy.
  17. I would totally get this for my Powertech. I was sad to find out that I couldn't take it to fleet. I would have gladly not turned in my mission to keep it.
  18. Although it would make sense for only hunter to hunt bounties, I would have to say get the mirror classes involved. It was mentioned earlier for Trooper to serve arrest warrants. Don't make it seem its for one class, and one class only. If class content was to come out, they would have to include the mirror class. Exactly. Instead of crying about not making Bounty Hunting a class only feature, why not promote getting your own class content. At the same time I have no problem with allowing other players to take part in this event. It even says in the cutscene that for a limited time the Bounty Brokers Association is accepting anyone that want to hunt bounties (the event). I would like to see a more indepth system for Bounty Hunters and their mirror class, Troopers.
  19. Although I strongly feel bounty hunting should be exclusively for Bounty Hunters, I do not object to having an event such as this so that everyone can take part in hunting bounties. At the same time, if a bounty hunting system were put in place for Bounty Hunters, I feel it shouldn't have a restriction on the amount of bounties or targets allotted. There would have to be more emersion involved.
  20. I like that idea. I would also like to add that everyone quit whining about if Bounty Hunting became class exclusive. If you want to reference the movies, then you'll see it kind of is class exclusive. Some say, "Well I can thing of a reason that my (Jedi or Sith) could be hunting too." Yeah well I can think of a reason my smuggler should be able to swing a lightsaber and gut a Tauntaun. There's nothing stopping anyone from creating a Bounty Hunter. I like the way the event is structured, but I disagree with the one bounty a day thing. I was honestly looking forward to this event until I found out it was open to everyone. I understand that if they had not, then there would be even more complaining than there already is. Obviously I have a Powertech, which isn't my main, and I hoped that one day I could actually do my job as one. Instead of crying about not making it class specific, how about asking if they can make a similar system for Jedi, Sith, or whatever you play to get your jollies off where you go to Tython or Korriban to take on missions from the council. I honestly think Smugglers should go to hutta to get Hutt jobs. What is the Ministry of Intelligence doing? I know they aren't dissolved with an office still on Dromund Kaas. Design and request your own class exclusive job and quit trying take away the only thing that makes Bounty Hunter, Bounty Hunters. I do understand that it will take some time to create these events and allowing other classes to continue to complete contracts in upcoming recurring events is necessary, but I would like it to eventually be class specific, eventually.
  21. ◘ Upgrade legacy and companion flame thrower. Bounty Hunter flame thrower was recently given a cosmetic upgrade with more flames, but the other are still the same. ◘ Add achievement share to Facebook. ◘ Make other space stations as lively as the one on Mekeb. It gives it more realism to see more traffic from NPCs coming and going. Hard to believe that other planets aren't as lively. Where do the civilians go to travel off world that are republic and imperial aligned? ◘ Republic speeders on Alderaan and Coruscant have odd travel routes. I have to go halfway across the map just to go to a destination that's across the way. Both republic and imperials speeders on Nar Shaddaa do the same.
  22. This exactly what I been saying, but everyone is saying, "No, you have to make it fair." What's preventing BW from implementing Jedi missions issued by the Jedi Council on Tython to kill Sith or fallen Jedi, or Sith missions issued by the Dark Council on Korriban to kill Jedi or enlightened Sith? Troopers can be a mirror of Bounty hunters in the sense that they're Military Police or SpecOps hunting criminals. Smugglers can get theirs from the hutts or corrupt republic officials. Agents can go to a still functioning secret branch of the Ministry of Intelligence.
