  1. That's the Imp not the ear and yes they are insanely nice... ear options are crit/surge or power/accuracy
  2. 4.3 power = 1 dmg 5 strength = 1 dmg I am not sure on what strength trickles down to crit as will check that later and the power varies slightly. Personally I am going strength in the hopes that it will give just enough crit so I can drop a extra crit mods for a power. Let say I use 9 str I would gain 32.4 dmg and power would net me 37.7. I I am able to gain that extra power mod and maintain the exact crit I would like to have that would give me 41.5 extra dmg. For me its about maintaining a respectable amount of crit(25% self buffed for me) beyond that I will stack power.
  3. Anarchy Online... pre title change also use to be able to loot corpses I like the changes though I think its a bit on the high side but, thats a good thing til they change it again the rest of my guild has time to catch upto my gear level.
  4. 5 medals is not hard to get but, medals should not be the goal... winning should be sometimes I get 3 medals working my *** of for a win. It happens and thats why the change.
  5. its not the expertise that is making ttk shorter is the boost to burst dmg output... still doesn't me recruit is worth getting more then a few pieces unless your a fresh 50 and even then you should have atleast 1 BM piece when you hit 50 2-4 the day you hit 50 unless you got to bed right after. Tanks can make a huge difference at the start of a fight with well used taunts and guard. With the changes to loss reward with latest patch I am content for now with pvp.
  6. from a non-50 standpoint... Op healing is now fun, BH is not. pre 1.2 it was the other way around. Quicker shorter heals is the way to go I hate having to stand still so long half the time my heal target runs out of range. on second thought its not even enough fun to play just gonna make my merc a fulltime crafter

  8. My average force scream dmg on a fully BM geared player has gone down from 1800 to about 600... The expertise changes are asinine if you had full BM pre 1.2 you should be fine if you don't your team would be better off without you. a fresh 50 in full recruit gear is in no better situation then with a couple of cent pieces in 1.1.5. 50 pvp is no longer fun with the current patch 10-49 actually got better with the changes.
  9. the way I vote in a pug or a premade is the same... I see who is making effort to win a match and they get my vote even if their number at the end of the match were complete garbage.

I don't post all that often... and I like 10-49 pvp after 1.2 but, the expertise changes made it so anyone not in full BM has 0 reason to stay in a losing WZ that is not good game design plain and simple. You want to encourage your player base to play the game and stick out the tough fights not quit and move on as soon as things turn south. I agree 100% about team play I never vote for someone with a solo kill unless I knew they were solo guarding a turret/door/mid in huttball.
  11. 1.2 from the pvp I have done is great except in 3 aspects... I hit 50 the night after 1.1.5 hit live and have since been grinding my gear. I ended up having 7 pieces of BM + extra relic as pre 1.2 I only used 1 BM relic and the rest champ. I was able to do very well with this gear to the point I was happy with my situation. Now after 1.2 I have been knocked back to worse than the day I hit 50 against everyone including those in recruit gear. There is something very wrong with that picture. In MMOs it is inevitable that current gear is going to get replaced and out dated but, I have never seen it happen to such a degree in a single patch. The nerfs to comms for losing combined with the over the top nerf to credits earned though WZ will and is going to create less reason to stay in a WZ if you every think things are going to go south. 1.1.5 made you not hate staying if you were going to lose cause of the rewards potention was good enough and now 1.2 erased any reason to stay in a losing match for more than 1-2 minutes.
  12. Disappointed but, I see no reason to cry over something they deem not ready. Actually I am us to devs pushing out broken content. Admitting its broken and holding it back doesn't happen every often in the MMO world.

I am from the US and there are quite a few of us on tofn... all I am trying to do is get those interested in something other than a 100ms ping difference to try and consolidate onto fewer servers to build a larger and 24/7 community I came from Anarchy Online were in its prime you could always get a team for anything in the game and get to meet people you never would have beforehand.
  14. poor reason to be a fan of a game... I am not asking BW to force people onto a single server. I would just like to see people create a international server so no matter what time of day you login and play fleet has roughly the same number of people online +/- 20%. So say you worked odd shifts... you could login at 5am and expect the same number of WZ's running and people playing as if you had logged in at 7pm. It's nice to know you will always be able to get stuff done 24/7 instead of waiting for others to logon.
  15. With all the complaints about dead servers, server queues and anything else server related. I would like to suggest people create your own server communities and cross-over creating 2+ international server were no matter what time of day you will always have someone online to play with. I have characters on Tomb of Freedon Nadd and Fatman among others. I believe if more US players rolled on tofn and eu on Fatman we could create a much livelier server community.
  16. They should have just put it back in the Immortal tree instead of removing it for those who used it. Glad its not being forced on everyone now though sad to see it gone completely.

  18. I don't like 1on1 and not all that great at it and has nothing to do will build more with my style of play. In basic WZ situations I usually leap to someone near the person I wanna choke or push as opposed to my actual target... Huttball is where it can become a bit of a pain but, there are times when I find it helpful as well. Basicly it just requires a bit of thinking before you leap... no different than wasting it and getting KBed as soon as you use it(doesn't happen if they are stunned ). Think of it like starting a business... "think before you leap" is an expression used in this case meaning do a little research before you blow your load on your venture.
  19. I agree with most of the arguments against forcing a skill of this sort onto Juggs. Personally I us crash and I make it work for me. You have to completely change how you play if you have it. It's not exactly what I would call a nerf... more of a forced idea of how Juggs should be played (BW probably saw how few people actually skilled it and said... "well guess we gotta force it on them now") Personally I am more concerned with what I am gonna do with My Build now that it seems these changes will really affect it
  20. I think its dumb forcing on people who don't want it or find it useless... I personally use it. It changes how you play considerably. My biggest grip now if I will have to spend 2 points somewhere I didn't have to before hand... I am also more than likely gonna loss atleast 1 skill cause of the moving around of talents,
  21. pretty sure I would be around valor 60 if it wasn't capped at level... Fear has been over 60 since forever so 90+ just means he likes the pvp and doesn't play too many alts.

I have had expertise in my gear since lvl41 so wrong... the problem with expertise is the amount... lets say 15% is/was max if you were all BM. you have 3 tiers of pvp gear the lowest should have 10% second 12.5 and last 15 half would be ideal for me so 5, 6.25 and 7.5. What bio needs to do is what they are doing... making it so you can remove the armoring from pvp gear so you don't have to look like everyone else. If you really want expertise it can be had pre 50 max around 4.5% though. It does not make that big of a difference at the amounts you can get pre 50 and that is the way it should be at 50 small percentage gain at the cost of a pve based stat.
  24. Funcom has more than 2 MMO's? AO's release was in 2001 and has been running for 11yrs now. AoC was significantly better than AO's release though it was still bad and FC screwed the pooch on it by changing game mechanic in beta. Think in the long run you will be fine even if you start day 1... no game is perfect on release nor servers and the never will be. There are advantages to starting a game within the first week/month and even more if you get the chance to beta test them.
  25. assuming level gaps are not completely asinine and a team of 30-49s can beat a team of all 50s if they work well together.... I have experienced this quite a few times. I have been on both sides of the battle. WZ's are quite enjoyable when your team works well together and completely suck when they don't.
