  1. Wow the amount of ignorance and ego you keep displaying really amazes me Urt. You have EVERYONE in the topic proving you wrong with completely objective tactical, strategical and mathematical arguments and you're STILL sticking to your story with absolutely no argumentative backup.
  2. And to add to Verains analysis: YOU missed plenty of shots. No evasion, no RNG, no tracking penalty, but plain out of the reticule shots. Some of them were hard shots, but most were simple shots where you had the time to take your aim and blast him to bits which is exactly what would've happened had you hit less than a half of those shots.
  3. You all keep saying "come to XYZ US server" as a counter-argument to getting invited to their home turf. Basically, you're doing the same Ulavii did, just with different words. Another problem with coming to Bastion for most EU players is the ping. I have a minimum of 250 and that really makes unplayable for me, especially for the high level playing that is expected on the super-serious night.
  4. It may be a huge aspect of the game, but it shouldn't be. This is Star Wars, this game should be all about stats, skills, fighting. However, I do understand why it is: people like shiny new things and "developing" stuff like that requires far less time and effort (aka money). GSF has only 1 cheat: SKILL! For the end: X-server or... whatever!
  5. I know, right? How dare I even question His arguments?
  6. So I presume you mastered some ships and then you were able to compete with the aces on your server while stomping everyone who didn't have a mastered ship? If you didn't (which I presume is the case), how can you make that claim?
  7. I'd be interested, as long as it's hosted on an EU or East Coast server at an acceptable time for me
  8. Replace Xinthos for these Sting/Flashfire Zyka (Xinthos) - The Progenitor - 92.15 Win% (102 games) Zyka (Xinthos) - The Progenitor - 6.80 KDR (102 games) Zyka (Xinthos) - The Progenitor - 9.13 Average Kills per Battle(102 games) Zyka (Xinthos) - The Progenitor - 40592.09 Average Damage per Battle (102 games)
  9. YES! That is the whole point of the damned evasion scout! You don't like that? Fine, take Directionals, Large Reactor and Reinforced Armor, that brings your shields to 1820 and hull to 1100 so you can survive it Yes, and those GSs turn into the floor mop, while those teams that take cattlescouts either mop the floor with the other team or are countered by bombers. Hmmm didn't I say I'm done here? Meh... now I definitely am.
  10. Forget it, you're ignoring everything I say and stubbornly try to push your argument which has been proven wrong by numerous people here both with math and experience. That was meant for tune HF
  11. So? They still don't have enough time to do anything meaningful before the scout catches up with them As I said, ALL the GSs have scouts on them. Didn't you say 8 scouts v 4 GS? If they have equal numbers, 1 scout per GS and the GSs are either useless or dead. As I said earlier, for this comparison only Retros are viable. With them, the GS doesn't have time to charge even the minimum required to shoot before the scout is in attack position. Continue evasion? Good, they're staying useless. Let's put a stop to this line right here since we're discussing high-end play. Thank you!
  12. Irrelevant, you have enough engine power to change direction. The faster scouts go for the 2nd line. They're practically untouchable if they have their evasion CDs up and are flying evasively/using cover. At that point, ALL the GSs already have their 2 scouts well within 3K and are dead if they don't run ASAP. Not once in my ~1K games on the Stingfire have I been killed like that. Scouts should have Retros for that case (if they have BR, the whole engine and time spending on closing the distance is moot). Yes, possibly, but I thought we were discussing high-end play...
  13. What?! No, you don't pop DF after the GSs start shooting, you pop both DF and RI as soon as the GSs start charging if you can notice it, if not you pop it as soon as you're in range. That gives you 75% evasion for 6sec and 48% for another 14sec (RI is 20sec according to Dulfy, don't remember if it's correct by heart). With your afterburner speed of 2496 m/s, you can very easily cover the 23-24K range to the 2nd line of GSs (will take you 9.61sec). When you've closed in, you practically win because if each GS out-maneuvers and kills 2 scouts, the scouts have a serious problem. No. GS gives more lethality against newbs and noobs, a good pilot won't get killed as easily. This! SO much this!
  14. Wow Urt, I really didn't expect this kind of whining from you... TT which you can have up 50% of the time doesn't count here? Let me refresh your memory... Accuracy +10%, enemy Evasion -5% (with T4 left), Critical Chance +15%, Critical Magnitude +25% (with T5 left) AND it applies to both primaries and secondaries. Chance to even hit an evasion scout with a slug at 10K? 103-28=79% and that's only if the shot is dead-on. If you let that happen, well... pop DF: 103-(28+27)=a WHOOPING 48% With all that and the amazing maneuverability of the cattlescout, it's really YOUR problem if you get hit by a railgun. It's a 2v1 battle, what do you expect? Even in that case, it's not much of a problem to keep them both entertained as long as you know how to use your CDs and fly. As people already told you, that composition is a counter for scouts. Even then, there is a rather simple solution to it, but you have to work as a team (like the enemy is obviously doing): you can either sacrifice a scout or 2 to clear the minefield and the rest moves in and wipes the floor with the GSs and bombers OR you can have a scout with EMP field (weren't you the 1 usually screaming about how people never heard of it?) and the rest moves in and cleans up. In a game "on average and higher levels" the GS can't sit around and shoot, it can get a shot or 2 off every now and then. No, your target will be dead before you even need to check. Please do try that the next time you're up against me. Last GS that I focused hard (on the Sting, mind you) ended up with double digit deaths, and he's a pretty good GS that actually runs when he has a scout within 3K. You 1 laugh at all of us while all of us laugh at you. Fine by me. As said earlier, that is a counter to scouts, but it can be beaten even with scouts only. Hardly, but not impossible while 8 strikers can do... what exactly against 8 cattlescouts?
  15. Nice idea Drako! Overall Xinthos - Nestinar - The Progenitor - 81.68 Win% (1900 games) Xinthos - Nestinar - The Progenitor - 4.65 KDR (1900 games) Xinthos - Nestinar - The Progenitor - 9.99 Average Kills per Battle (1900 games) Xinthos - Nestinar - The Progenitor - 45174.15 Average Damage per Battle (1900 games) S-13 Sting Xinthos - Nestinar - The Progenitor - 80.43 Win% (685 games) Xinthos - Nestinar - The Progenitor - 4.63 KDR (685 games) Xinthos - Nestinar - The Progenitor - 8.86 Average Kills per Battle (685 games) Xinthos - Nestinar - The Progenitor - 38682.67 Average Damage per Battle (685 games) GSS-3 Mangler Xinthos - Nestinar - The Progenitor - 67.01 Win% (570 games) Xinthos - Nestinar - The Progenitor - 4.98 KDR (570 games) Xinthos - Nestinar - The Progenitor - 10.01 Average Kills per Battle (570 games) Xinthos - Nestinar - The Progenitor - 45890.59 Average Damage per Battle (570 games)
  16. On average, I think the Reps are ahead these days. Poke me when you're on Imp, name's in the sig
  17. Just call me up when you got problems, 1 of my buddies and I enjoy eating those "pro" gunships. P.S. Imps do it too, as often as the Reps. Those games were not MMORPG's aka you could switch the server as often as you wanted with absolutely no penalties involved.
  18. Yes, it only works with blasters, as the tooltip says "The cost of using blasters is reduced by 13%"
  19. You got Xinthos double in: Overall domination -> Total Kills (positions 3 and 5) Overall domination -> Kill Streak (positions 2 and 3)
  20. I'm making decent credits from both MK-10 kits and purple augments. It really isn't that hard to learn them and everyone need those now because the gear is constantly changing.
  21. 3 ways: 1) In your hangar (default: H), there is a list of all ships, you just click the small purple icon to buy it. You have to have enough Fleet Requisition for it, though. 2) Cartel Market, Starfighter section 3) Galactic Trade Network
  22. Most likely never, just like we've never heard any explanation (or bug acknowledgement) of the EMP nerf or the Sabo probe mess up.
