  1. You're still better off with RI. If it makes the enemies miss 1 single shot, it's better than Hydrospanner. 1 hit from mastered quads with no buffs, non-crit is 750 damage to your hull (provided you don't have shields). If RI makes just 1 of those hits miss, it's 3 times better than Hydrospanner.
  2. Did you read any posts or clicked on any of the links next to the records?
  3. It's better to use Running Interference and avoid that damage altogether.
  4. Concussion? Hardly. Concussions have Shield Piercing, Feedback Shield doesn't. Like I said earlier, you're better off with Distortion Field: it gives you both the passive Evasion which will negate a portion of the incoming scouts damage, as well as a lock break which will completely negate 1 of his missiles. Also like I said earlier, the good scouts will rofl at your Feedback and let his shields eat that 1 arch of non-shield piercing damage and cut through both your shields and hull like a hot knife through butter because you don't have Evasion nor shield boost. Not-so-good scouts won't even notice the Feedback and just blast you. As Drako mentioned, against another gunsheep you will lose because of a lack of Evasion, but that's not all of it. Feedback shield doesn't trigger on secondary weapons (if I remember correctly, it's been a while since I've given even a thought to Feedback) which makes it completely and utterly useless against another gunsheep and you won't even do as much damage as you did to that scout that made him laugh.
  5. That's exactly when it's the least useful. Those ~250 hull every 1min won't save you against his 1.4K BLC crits+900 double volley Clusters. Another question is why on earth are you using Feedback shield? Most scouts will just rofl at it and let his shields eat the damage (which probably will be full because he's chasing you, not the other way around). You'd be MUCH better off with DF+RI with BLCs+Interdiction missile for the war of attrition.
  6. Wow someone really pissed you off? At the high end of play it is bad, but I find it useful on fresh ships, when your shields suck and you take hull damage easily. RI doesn't help with missile locks which are your main problem in those times, so even a little heal can be helpful.
  7. It wasn't just him, it was everyone who tried flying at that time. Fortunately, it cleared out within a few hours.

  9. Isn't this the same thing that kept happening when 2.8 or 2.9 launched?
  10. Indeed, not everyone has the time or will to do it, but that's not the problem. The problem are those that don't read and don't practice, but come here acting like they know everything and are godlike pilots. Agreed, we've been asking for a good tutorial probably since the launch, but there still isn't one.
  11. Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but in case you're not: that's just lame. Wonder what you'd do if you had Scrab on the other side...
  12. Thank you for the praise, we try hard Off that list only Morthag and I are MH, rest are from other guilds. Yeah, it's a shame you guys don't roll those groups you used to, I remember some really fun and close matches. At 2AM, I was sleeping for 2h already I'll be happy to see you, might even offer you some food in the form of my strike-like decimus
  13. At the moment (with low population) I believe it's a simple FIFO (First In First Out) system with an exception when there's, say, 3 people missing but there's a group of 4 people in the queue. In that case it'll skip the last 3 solo players and send in the group of 4. The attempts of actual matchmaking do happen in wargames. When we're queueing 2 groups at the same time, we always end up against each other in wargames, but, for whatever reason it doesn't always manage to do that as people have said before.
  14. No. 1 gunship when pressure by an equally skilled scout is completely useless. 1 scout who is pressured by an equally skilled scout is still doing damage to those around him because all he needs to fire and deal a decent amount of damage is 1 click while the gunship needs time to charge his shots. Yes, a gunship has BLCs as well as a scout, but it's far less maneuverable and doesn't have the tools the scout has (TT/BO) that actually make BLCs as deadly as they are.
  15. And that's exactly what you, as a scout, are supposed to do. Are you playing a domination match to collect kills or collect points (yes, kills grant points but those are miserable compared to points granted by holding a sat)?
  16. Not quite, it hurts much more: T2 scout damage: 887,9 - Cluster missile 762x2=1524 - BLC Total: 1524+887,9=2411,9 Accuracy: 97% (87% from BLC+10% from TT) Tracking penalty: 0.5% per degree Time: 1.3sec (lock-on time of Cluster missile, travel time is irrelevant) Gunship damage: 1600 - Slug railgun Total: 1600 Accuracy: 98% Tracking penalty: 5% per degree Time: 2.7sec And that's without crits which happen quite a bit more frequently for a scout than a GS. And that's without evasion which scout has much more of. And that's without applying the tracking penalty which is much worse for a gunship.
  17. Keep chasing him, the skill required for a gunship to survive a scout attack is much higher than the skill required for a scout to kill a gunship. Unless he's an ace he'll run out of engine power pretty fast and will be a sitting duck for anyone to blow to pieces.
  18. No evidence? Here, a reminder that you either keep ignoring or forgetting, mr. Goldfish: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=755330
  19. Roll a Rep, they have far fewer aces as well as premades than we do. We (Imps) are mostly playing during the evenings GMT/CET. I can't really give a usual time of play for the Rep aces since I don't really see them too often except for Moganas who seems to play throughout the day GMT, but not much in the evenings.
  20. Fear? No one! Respect and actually watch what I'm doing against them? Here: +Rosy, definitely the best Rep pilot, quite possibly the whole server as well +Valhein and Ni'ss (or wherever the apostrophe goes ), they are becoming a real annoyance (compliment).
  21. Most of who? There's no one here agreeing with you. Also, a quick look at your previous posts discovers that all you do is whine, be it GSF or ground PvP.
  22. Where's that Like button when you need it
  23. L2P Plenty of guides and tutorials right here on this forum, also plenty of vets and aces that you can ask.
  24. In my experience, against them you just punch their shields (which they have less) and destroy the hull right after while against decent/good pilots or aces, you punch shields, they run and restore them and again resulting in more damage needed to kill someone.
  25. A while ago we've been told that GSF was never meant to be competitive, just a casual pass-time so yeah... not gonna happen any time soon. Maybe with version 6.66, when we receive the next change to GSF.
