Therein you are wrong .. or a liar.
I have read the threads and seen the evidence presented.
I've also seen the multiple threads and posts about how the system was exploited and how people were (if you read between the lines) manufacturing credits hand over fist and selling credits.
It was a loss of a credit printing machine and that is what it boils down to in the end.
I guarantee you, and would be willing to bet ANY amount on it, that the developers did not intend for ANY system in the game to give a player hundreds of thousands and/or millions of credits in the first week of gameplay. (Please do not insult my intelligence and say that no one has that many credits).
I even went as far as to roll a slicer to see the extent of the fix and found that I am still able to get 20-200% returns on my missions about 90% of the time. (Yes, I do come back with half the cost of the mission but my math says that only comes to around 10% of the time).
So slicing is still viable just not as 'crazy stupid lucrative' as it was when it was broken.
