  1. Good suggestion. But since theyve gone off on holidays nothing will happen for at least 9 weeks. Leave the bottle, its not good for your health bro. Theres no community in SWTOR, never will be, endgame is as anti social as it gets, and no, your measly 3 friends and you dont count as community and never will, neither you are massive.

  3. There is a "Big Bad" For Republic its Empire For Empire its Republic Its, you know, Starwars, where, you know, Empire and Republic are going to Deathmatch, not WoW. We already had waaaaaaay to many "3rd parties as big bad guys" already.
  4. Exactly, those are only annoying and time consuming. In MMOs that translated to "hard" and "hardcore", of course, by same people that proclaim themselves hardcores (but they were just people spending way more time playing games that they should have). "It takes camping that boss 3 weeks/12 hours a day to get a drop" "Man thats HARDCORE" and theres 0 challenge to the boss. Or killing gazillion same monsters with 0 challenge just to get 1 level. Some people live in the past and some distorted memory, even if they have such MMOs to play (yes, those are ultra niche just as their audience) they go to every new MMO and spout same nonsense. Are you stoned that hard? 95% of what you list are CASUAL features hardcores have 0 interest in. rofl Figuring out "aggro" or formulas SHOULD be clearly communicated to that player by DEVELOPER. I was hardcore, i still am in a way, because i find my OWN challenges ingame (for all the dummies that say game isnt challenging enough). BTW none of the old school MMOs were challenging, what they were: annoying and time consuming, and ultimately boring. And i understand very very very small amount of people want those in their entertainment. If it was up to "hardcores" we would get old school MMO that would have 10k subs. Extremely annoying, extremely time consuming to do anything, no story or fun stuff, just bare world with monsters for you to roll over gazzilion times just to get 1 level, and god forbid you die because, puff, half the level gone (thats another week of grinding same crap). Just look at CosmicKats posts rofl. You dont have a clue what "hordcore" passes for in MMO.
  5. Oh yea, only "hardcores" are "leaders", all casuals are sheep, and somehow hardcore guilds are full of casuals who found their "home" there, and somehow forcing social interaction (however absurd that sounds) is the key I would really wish to know how you come up with this stuff rofl

  8. Well, on occasion you get grouped with players that know left from right and west from east, opponent team is not uber geared premade with total of 6 smashers with 2 healers and nobody quits.

Well its certanlly interesting, look what they did to sorcs (emperor) and i guess borking up that class had big backlash so now they are afraid to put marauders where they should be because most of bads play them (and thats most of playerbase along with assasins). Anyway, they shown again and again they have absolutely NO clue what they are doing, PvP is in much worse state than it was at LAUNCH, and it will never be good becuase of their methods. Even in recent interview they said "we are satisfied with class balance" lolololololol, like they play certain other game and pretend its SWTOR rofl But lot of us figured that back in january and their "balancing" in 1.2 that they dont actually balance classes but cater to bads (well even before that and operative debacle) And of course legendary/mythical "team of operatives" lolololololol (i mean OFCOURSE you cant see them they have stealth AMIRITE!)
  14. So, you have ti good against bads and bad agaisnt goods. The games where they let you free heal you should forget. The games where you get smashed is WHY you need bubble stun. Its not want, its not cheese, its pure need, because when youre dead you do 0 HPS. I would like to spec other ways, but its the only viable spec. And its not that good to start with.
  15. Why would anyone play range if they get stomped by melee 100% of the time? Only viable ranged is sniper. Why? Becuase he KEEPS PEOPLE AT RANGE (cannot be leaped to/interrupted) most of the time. Other ranged are fluffy bunnies that just wait to be killed. Thats NOT balanced. Whole SWTOR PvP is upside down. I know that mara players like it like that, but, unfortunately it makes PvP a laughing stock.

Yah, now other 2 mara specs are underplayed so we need to BUFF THOSE! -> BW metrics aahahahhahahahahah And when i heard logic behind stun range reduction: well if you want to stun now you have to go in melee range. Really? On ranged classes that must work to stay heck out of melee range rofl We identified problems and expected a fix back in january. So you come back and not only problems havent been fixed they BUFFED it. Its obvious they dont have the manpower to do pretty much anything any more (well except recolor armor sets). The state of PvP is craptastic. I didnt play a game with such bad balance.
  17. Ill put my tinfoli hat on and say: They had 8 stories as chapter 4 (for 8 classes) written for forsseable future (probably even further). Considering how badly game performed they will just adapt it so that each class story can be played by any class, so instead chapter 4 they will stretch it so you will get that same story just as chapter 4-5-6-7 (2 class stories imp-rep/chapter as 1 chapter for all). Same thing as it already happens with other content. So instead full 1.3 you get it streched to 1.4 1.5 1.6 by piecemeal.
  18. 1. Hardcore - person who puts too much time/effort in computer games than they should 2. Multiplayer game can never be more challenging than solo because noone would ever be able to finish it. Artificial dumbing down of solo content is just that - artificial. Multiplayer content has gone/is going through same transformation though. Content that noone will see is loss of money (WoW vanilla endgame for example which Blizzard acknowledgeg as failure) 3. 950 000 casuals playing for 2-3 months a year >>>>> than 50000 hardocres playing 12 months a year. You AGAIN greatly overestimate importance and entitlement of hardcores. You have quite an insight and have figured out biggest problems with MMOs (well EQ/WoW and their clones branch) They are not really RPGs, they are just hack and slash action games where goal is loot, and ever bigger bigger and more annoying and lenghty obstacles in aquiring the loot. Unfortunately people figured it out and aint taking the bait any more (well vast majority) so you see mass quittage when endgame is reached. Note that for leveling story SWTOR is best (or among the best) MMO. And there are solutions to the problems but EA didnt have balls to implement them but just decided to copy WoW with all its flaws intact.
  19. They are "monitoring" it, so you can expect results in year or so And then some 6-12 months to actually fix it. So by 2015 your class might be OK!
  20. Whole 2 DPS trees need to be reworked. 1 tree needs to be true glass cannon with limited CC, and another "kite-master" type of tree with beefed up CC and lower damage. But since now they dont have manpower for even basic stuff youll be stuck with pretty much what you have for a loooooooooong time.

  22. Yes, 3k (non-guaranteed)crits for which you had to channel until you get the proc (which made it VERY preventable) was not ok, OTOH 2 button insta 7k guaranteed crits are OK. Ahahahahahahahahahah at EA and SWTOR PvP and "monitoring" BTW, GOOD juggs were doing beastly damage before all the buffs. Pretty much (if you want to be competitive), and nice side effects, when they finally deal with smashers, juggs will suffer and you will STILL play OP class with 2 OP specs. Yah, its THAT bad.
  23. EA admitted they nerf/buff classes based on how good/bad those are played. An gratz is issued to all mara players because theyve been THE WORST. And, as far operative/scondrels go: kudos to you (me), we pwned bads so hard that it got our classes nerfed multiple times, to the point that they are unviable (talking about handicap, bads in SWTOR needs BIG advantage rofl). Just shows where good players went and where baddies stuck. PvP in SWTOR will suck as long as EA will cater to bads. Ranked WZs? ahahahahhahahahahahah in SWTOR it would be a joke ahahahahahahhaha Theres NO kiting in SWTOR. But if you L2P you would know that. I bet you play mara and one of many that got your class buffed rofl
  24. You are typical representative of hardcores, think that whats good for you (hardcore) is good for the rest of 95%, but the reality is 180 degrees from that. Somehow those who played EQ feel entitled and think of themsleves higher than other players, but its in fact that other 95% pay for the game and if ALL hardcores left it wouldnt even be noticable. OTOH, if you have other 95% leave you get SWTOR and its current state. And another reality is, hardcores will stay (like you do) and just blow a lot of steam, its best to just ignore them and go about your bussienss.
