  1. Being 3 steps behind...well...everything.... aint gonna propel you forward.
  2. You can come to my house and ill give you plenty of chores to do every day. Of course, only after you pay me 15$/month.
  3. Yah, i dont really see how PvP in SWTOR could get any worse from launch...in that regard.
  4. You mean...just as number of boxes sold at launch to put that article to shame? They are right to hide numbers this time. So people cant see scope of fail this time since last one was spectacular dive.
  5. OP dont worry, it will die off very soon.
  6. I loved the one of logos on Fallout (dont know if it was Interplay or Black Isle) that simply said: "By gamers for gamers" Thats all there is to it, when you commercialize and coorporatize it you get products like SWTOR: ton of money spent (most expencive game made in history), no spark/awfully medicore game which in the end is not worth 15 measly $/month Theres absolutely nothing challenging about it. All they are are: a) annoying b) time consuming Somehow annoying and time consuming in MMO got translated into challenging which is completely wrong. "it takes annoying camping of same boss 12hours/day for a month -> its challenging" "getting a level takes 3 weeks of annoying single spot mindnumbing killing of same monsters -> its challenging" no its not challenging in slightest, its repulsive (grind) to most people and that kind of crap (and those kind of games) is exctinct for a reason (even in niche games).
  7. This. Who the feck needs another daily area? Daily comms, ahahahaah, i didnt need them back at mid january. You should AT LEAST be able to buy Rakata/BH with daily comms and latest implants/earpiece. Fail is a fail.
  8. So in another words game did cost 200-300m$ ahahahahahhaahah youre funny. And 300m didnt come from LA Times, but from other sources. But you have no clue, we kinda figured that out.
  9. Post a budget of SWTOR please. Full, with development, marketing and everything else. And youre so wrong about everything else that only thign i can say is: read back all the stuff they said from 1 year before launch to shortly after launch.
  10. People voted with wallets what they think about this particular crap ton of content. Tell that to PvPers rofl
  11. And nowhere do they say what you claim, and afterwards EA CEO called SWTOR a miss and results of other games compensating for SWTOR. Good night.
  12. Yah, some people just refuse using their head. And theres no BW anymore...sob...just EA and bean-counters that are deciding fate of the game.
  13. Hahahahahah, its started, just as i predicted, people using "free 500" as an excuse for everything being in CS from now on.
  14. But WoW didnt tank. WoW didnt go into red and needed drastic measures to keep it afloat. Basic difference.
  15. IF stopped being keyword back in April (ooops, May because of free for all month) And thats where they all make same basic mistake. Same mistake they made when they were looking at WoW and drooling over its 12m subs. And thats the bottom line.
  16. Before F2P all you could really spend was 15/month. Now you can spend...how much you want. You might not be spending more...but idiot next to you will spend 200$. It doesnt require fixing the game, fixing the engine, making game better (as nothing of that was done). Just cash shop. And, for the record, EA said themselves people dont think game is worth 15$, so it still isnt worth 15$ to 2,3+m people so its obviously not aimed at those people.
  17. Its not market shift, its bad products that failed and need something to try to keep em afloat. I guess they figured out that milking current subscribers for a bit extra is better option than fixing the game, hey, at 30$/month you only need 250k subs. mostly because stocks after the crash represented real value (a bit demominated, true), not inflated one as before, and while other companies managed to show they have more actual worth EA - not so much and SWTORs results ARE part of that (If not whole BW buyout adventure).
  18. No i didnt miss point of your post but adressed IT DIRECTLY and you just go back to your line of thinking. And, oh my gosh "Thinking outside the box has yet to generate massive profit that the particularly greedy ones who spend millions on their product want." I dont know in which alternate reality you live. Feel free to ignore the facts some more.
  19. You see, thats why theres nice little thing called THINKING OUTSIDE OF THE BOX. And, ironically what i said many times before launch, if we adopted your line of thinking we would still live in caves and kicked animals with bats to provide lunch. But yah, not everyone is capable of it, especially when they decide BEFOREHAND they wont do it and they will just copy someone elses work and hope it sticks...
  20. What are you smoking? EA/BW said THEMSELVES FROM THE START they will peovide "PvP experience noone has seen yet", and that they had one of the best PvP devs around - Mythic - working on SWTOR. THEY THEMSELVES SET THE EXPECTATIONS. THEY THEMSELVES CREATED AND PUMPED UP BALOON CALLED HYPE. And then when they dont deliver pretty much anything they said and **** hits the fan you still have nerve calling players out rofl. Do you work for EA by any chance as you sound just like PR machine. Im actually glad people voted with their wallets and shown (not the first time mind you) they wont take crap.
  21. Just a few months ago anyone who said SWTOR would go F2P before end of the year was proclaimed "hater", "preaching doom and gloom, game is just fine", "its the best game evah, go away" and all ohther phrases fanboi can think of. Guess what: SWTOR went F2P in before end of the year, and no, it wasnt because it was successful.
  22. Except that you CAN do HM FPs/OPs in Recruit gear. Well, maybe not you. I stand corrected.
