Well that will depends on: How many people will actually still play SWTOR in 4-6 months (hmmm) How many of those will actually shell out 10$ for content update Well, thats question that has been discusse to death pre-launch, and of course, those people that are gone now claimed that "levels must be in there because sense of progressing character" which is actually quite wrong since you can progress character in many ways whithout hindrannce of levels. Prblem with levels is that as you progress through them, your content shrinks and shrinks, and when you toss in gear grind, at the "end", when you should have whole game on your disposal your game has actually shrinked to 1-2 raids, everything else is pretty much obsolete.

Good lord. Makeb CONTENT UPDATE announced in June was supposed to have: Makeb Level cap raise Op FP They even havent announced THAT much yet rofl. And it has been in production since BEFORE game launched and schedualed BEFORE the end of 2012. But they sure have renamed it to expansion and put a price tag on it 2xrofl

so tl;dr they screwed up and expect their customers to pay for their screw ups without much assurance they wont continue with screw ups (reference: WHO) OTOH, responsible companies acknowledge their screw ups, take responsibility as they should, and deal with them properly (reference: Square Enix and FF XIV)

This is test of "can we charge for content updates". So no, you shoudl NOT support it. If their "metrics" show they can charge, so they will. Only thing they will test then is "how much can we charge".
