  1. Yeah new gtn clears sorry to say. Looking up prices on gold augs for example is one page 7 different items instead of 25 pages of the same thing lol. Like honestly caring about who crafted the item or who's selling seems petty to me, and it shouldn't be a concern of anyone.
  2. As many others have stated already there are 11 different objectives each week. You can only finish 7 of them. If two of them are pvp based simply ignore them and do the ones that involve content u enjoy. The whole idea of seasons is that there are objectives for every type of player so we can all get a bit of seasons progress accomplished doing the things we like to do in game. I happen to enjoy pvp, so thanks devs for including it 👍👍
  3. All u told ppl to do is queue dodge, which doesn't really fix the problem sorry to tell you, it just pushes the problem onto other ppl who then face the premades cuz they aren't queue dodging. I don't think it's like a crazy thing to ask the devs to fix a major issue in their game like this lol. It's simple groups need reduction to 4 man max and matchmaker needs to be fixed, as I've already told you I've queued in big groups for the very purpose of sniping another pemade only to get pugs the majority of the time. Yes u showed ppl how to avoid it but that's just shrugging off the problem more than anything.
  4. Yeah good point, I didn't mean solo queuers in pvp per se, considering I'm also a solo queuer a good amount of the time I'm in pvp as well. I'm def talking more about the mindset of certain players who aren't really interested in the mmo aspect of the game and want to avoid dealing with other ppl. I've even seen ppl say that they love the game except for the fact it's an mmo lol. I assume some of those types are definitely entering pvp these days so they can get the rewards from the seasons and pvp track. The types who are in 312 greens and queueing for warzones because they don't need bis gear for most of the content they do. But when they get into pvp are just demolished...which if their on ur team ur at a disadvantage, and if they are against u it's not even fun to fight them because they melt.
  5. It is the way it works for someone who actually enjoys pvp and WANTS to learn to be a better player. I've had similar experiences to others in this thread where I've reached out to players who are playing my main class and tried to give them advice. Normally I'm told they are just casual players and they don't want advice. A few weeks ago tho, a player I see often was being chatty with me so I started offering them some advice and they were extremely greatful for it, in fact they told me they were hoping I'd share some pointers with them. I went to their stronghold and spent like an hour teaching them a rotation which they weren't using before. The next day they thanked me and said they'd seen their dmg numbers improve massively, and pvp was so much more fun because of it. The issue atm with swtor is that the devs have focused so much on the rpg aspect of the game, they've let the mmo part of it fall by the wayside. I didn't know a thing about pvp when I first started playing this game, my guildmates taught me to be a good player. Most of the time the teaching part doesn't happen in game, it's more of a thing that happens in a guild discord channel among guildmates. Solo players want to be left alone, but the people who still enjoy the social aspect of the game are more willing to listen in my experience.
  6. I just got the Meksha one as well it does help to have extra ppl for that because gold mobs keep spawning repeatedly, again probably not necessary but helpful to do it with a few friends.
  7. The fleet datacrons you need at least 6 people iirc. Other than that I think you can do most of them solo. The Rishi datacron is faster if you have more people but it's not completely necessary. Although I would definitely advise getting at least 3 for Rishi because you have to farm grophets in 3 seperate locations and it's an all day long thing to find the one you need. So having 1 person at the 3 diff locations is going to save you a lot of time. Off the top of my head those are the only ones I can think of that require more than 1 person. I did all of the other ones solo. I might be forgetting something tho so maybe someone can chime in and tell me I'm wrong lol.
  8. I said in my initial post that if ur solo and avoiding premades it probably works, again I've never tried it. I was mainly talking about your advice on how to match up against another premade if you want to, and I can confirm the advice you gave doesn't work the majority of the time. Issuing a challenge hardly ever works because you have to have two 8 man groups and a big premade is normally 5 - 6 people at most. Even leaving the group challenges out of the equation, if you queue almost the same exact time as another premade, the wonky matchmaker usually doesn't match you up for whatever reason.
  9. This does not work matchmaker is extremely broken right now. I mentioned in another thread I spent two nights in a big premade trying to queue sync with another big premade and out of maybe 10 matches played, while trying to sync the queue the whole time, we got the other big premade twice. But yeah its the way I'd assume it works but it still doesn't. If ur solo queue that probably does work for dodging big premades. Can't confirm cuz I've never been bothered enough to try tho.
  10. Here's where we disagree. What u are basically saying is that getting the achievement is tantamount to a participation reward, u want the chievo simply by sleep walking your way through the season. It's exactly why pvp players like myself are upset with the pvp seasons because it doesn't reward people who win matches all you have to do is queue and win or lose you can get all the rewards. In this instance yes if you really want that little box clicked off in ur legacy tab then maybe u should grind a bit more than the casual. The rep track had traditionally been achievable just by working your way through the season. However, things that were tied to the achievements have also traditionally been associated with a grind ie finishing 100 weeklies. So I don't see a massive departure in the way seasons are working here. I do agree tho that these fragments should have a higher drop rate, because at this point the achievement seems unattainable even for people who want it.
  11. Have the devs addressed this at all yet? I could imagine if they see nobody even nearing the objective they'll make some tweaks. Brazzes gift or whatever doesn't work either? Idc about trash or the gear drops so I hardly ever loot unless it's a yellow, but I swear I've picked up extra blueprints here and there.
  12. Define what u mean by halfway through the season. Doesn't the season go for 5 months or so? Don't think we even a month in at this point. Do you mean half way through the rewards track. Anyways on topic its a pointless grind for the blueprints just for an achievement. I'm not an achievement type person so I usually just ignore that aspect of stuff, especially if there's not a tangible reward behind it. The title you get from seasons is way better anyways, and iirc it's not tied to grinding the trash.
  13. Yeah damn instead of finishing 6 weeks early I might only finish 5 weeks early 😂😂
  14. People are up in arms because it's an underhanded tactic to force more of a grind. Let's look at context, we get very little new content. 2 dungeons in the last 5 years. Every 6 months or so we get a bit of story and a daily area. So what have they done to keep players busy...gear grind. As opposed to past expansions where a new gear cap is released upon expansion and there's one grind they decided to continually increase the gear rating throughout the expansions, giving players busy work to accomplish in between the small story updates we get. How do you get gear? By grinding conquest for tech frags and conquest comms. So they raised the cap from 50k to 100k...more grind. Then as the grind was palatable with the rep token, they remove it, which equals...you guessed it more grind. They've trained the players to grind for gear, they've trained them to play alts. Then they go and make changes that effect the amount of time it takes you to accomplish those things. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that the only reason for these changes are to purposely stunt player progress in order to keep them logged into the game longer to do inane tasks. Again if there were actual content I have no problem spending all day playing an mmo. But when they've created all these systems that revolve around old content for ur char to make progress in the game....it's not a surprise players are up in arms.
  15. I think ur a little confused. Why do u think people grind conquest? Just to stare at the worthless points at the end of the week and admire their work? Lol 😂😂
  16. It was one char per day so the most you could get weekly was around 350k per legacy which is a drop in the bucket. But regardless I don't really understand why the devs or any player would be anti-login to play the game lol. Players are already doing a ton of gameplay to finish conquest this was just a supplementary thing that when taken away only angered ppl. Keep in mind they also increased conquest goals per char from 50k to 100k, so as you can see loyal players who are grinding conquest, only view a move like this as an underhanded method by the devs to get them to grind even more. If it was fresh new content so be it, but the content is old and stale in many cases.
  17. It's an easy fix tho. Rep cap is 5k per week so just make the rep tokens in bundles of 20 so each stack is worth 1k rep each. Then you can only turn them in 5 times a week or 50 times total until you cap the seasons rep. That would solve the issue of the tokens being basically infinite.
  18. For ppl who play like you and I (and I'm much more casual about it tbh I probably get like 1.5m per week on all my toons and I pvp a lot) the new heroic thing works out for us because we know all the easy heroics and can planet hop and finish them quickly. Idek what most of the people still complaining about conquest were doing. They seem to be the ppl who just wanted to pop the rep token twice in a week and hit conquest on one toon without having to actually do anything. If that's the case it's still doable you just have to log in 4 times in a week instead of two because there's still conquest objectives you can hit while u sit in the comfort of ur sh lol.
  19. There is the new "complete heroic mission" conquest objective that is worth 5,200 cp (with maxed sh bonus), but it's not listed on the conquest objectives. So for example say u are playing an imp side tech class you can do the Man with the Steel Voice heroic which is basically clicking an item, get 5.2k for the Hutta heroic, and an additional 5.2k from the new objective. So heroics are basically double cp than they were two weeks ago. I finished conquest in about 20 minutes on a char this morning using my comp gift mission, running cz (which is a seasons objective anyways), and doing like 3 of the very easy heroics. Keep in mind there's an additional 4.25k in cp by killing 25 enemies on a planet so some of these heroics can be done in a matter of minutes and will net you about 15k conquest as well.
  20. Ahh yes I was looking at what the rewards were the other day and I was like forklift...really? Lol they dropped the ball this season. The rewards in the track are still nice but it really does seem clunky actually getting through the season and finding motivation to do so.
  21. I understand not wanting to do old daily areas but like I said Ossus takes 10 minutes, couple clickable heroics, plus the comp gifts and the crafting stuff will have u finish 100k in maybe 15 minutes, if u were only doing conquest on one toon to begin with.
  22. No I swapped to a different toon and finished one heroic to get the 10/10. Didn't count that in my timed run on the two toons just doing my normal conquest routine. I made a post about how fast and easy it was..again it might not apply to you because you might not do the same activities. But Ossus daily area, cz dailies, the crafting missions, comp gift and like 7/8 easy heroics and ur in on conquest on two chars in 45 minutes or less (took me 42 minutes exactly).
  23. I dont play gsf so I'll just comment on how this would effect wzs for example. Making it medal based still wouldn't encourage ppl to win matches within pvp as its currently constituted. The afkers would just change up their tactics and camp near nodes for defender medals for example. I could see 3 or 4 ppl standing on the one node a team has because they are racking up medals, while still losing a match and making no effort to win. Or maybe ppl would just run around grabbing the crit boost and then trying to get the big crit dmg/heal medals. It could work but I think you'd have to rework the medal system. Matchmaker is broken, I'm not sure how it works but it needs to be fixed. For example last night a big 8 man premade was streaming, there was another 8 man premade trying to snipe their stream yet they never got against eachother. The 8 man just kept getting queued into teams of solo players. Not sure if it based on win percentage (which many have said it is), but if so that doesn't deter the farmers whatsoever because their win percentages are low, it's most likely going to match them against ppl who just want to win, and they will win because the farmers won't do objs. Nobody wins because the farmers don't get the big fight they want and the solo players are just handed a win while being farmed. First step is to fix matchmaker, step two remove 8 man operations groups imo.
  24. Before the rep nerf I was getting conquest done on two chars an hour, this included running the easy heroics and planet hopping. After nerf I was at an hour and a half. After the infinite heroic buff I'm at 45 minutes for two chars. So it's a net gain. I guess the aversion for most ppl is actually having to run heroics but tbh I enjoy certain ones on specific toons. Rakghoul Release for example on Taris is extremely fun on a dot spec. I'm happy with what they gave us in lieu of the reputation bonus, so I'm here to applaud the devs on the decision. However the biggest impact I think it has had is making the Galactic season far less enjoyable. Once level 80 there isn't any progression especially for Vet players who are done with legacy. Taking away the rep track and adding trash like the blueprints to collect is pointless. It was nice to work towards something tangible like a companion skin or armor set. Now we just get an achievement if we collect enough trash. Not a good decision imo.
  25. I've said in my prior posts that not everyone plays the exact same way so I understand this method isn't going to work for everyone. However for the subset of players who do conquest on many different toons, as fast as they can, for the tech frags, conquest comms, and planetary invasions...it's in fact quite an upgrade. Having said that, I'm not a pve'er and I was honestly surprised to find out from many of you here that you get very little conquest from doing things like operations for example. That side of it really needs a conquest point buff by the sound of it because, similar to pvp its time consuming and requires organization, basically it has a lot of moving parts. If there's a silver lining to this fiasco maybe the devs are now aware of how they can upgrade the conquest system and please as many players as possible. Shouldn't be too difficult to add some objectives for the pve community you would think.
