  1. Boba Fett? where? http://i1363.photobucket.com/albums/r713/choffware/boba_zpscb4140a4.png
  2. Here is mine http://i1363.photobucket.com/albums/r713/choffware/boba_zps83ae4498.png
  3. That's a great job! Looks very close I like it much better than your second attempt. Why is this a bug? I thought that's exactly how it was intended to be used.
  4. I also do this... I also have a nostromo for the left hand and have the quick bars arranged like those keys Naga on the right hand nostromo for the left.. can't wait until the nostromo breaks (about every two years) so I can buy an orb weaver.
  5. I can see for people that like open world PvP and arenas that this game is lacking... But the pvp mechanics themselves is fun and now the classes are pretty balanced. It still needs to be tweaked but for the most part each class has at least one spec in every roll that is viable in pvp. There are exceptions... DPS OP/Smuggler for example I believe are still too under powered... And I think OP healers are way to...well O.P... World pvp and Arenas are not there but frankly I think world pvp stinks and never works. It's a short lived pipe dream it always breaks down and the only "successful" world pvp games become very niche market games. Even the "legendary" DAOC didn't have wide appeal. Arenas are again very "eye of the beholder" but as thrown in as an options to instanced warzones can be very fun. Bottom line is there is a lot of fun still left in this game but if your not having fun maybe you should move on... games come and go...
  6. I don't know at 55 assassins are pretty tough. Especially if they open from stealth. If I catch them out of stealth it's not auto win either but I usually do win those fights. But if they open and keep me stunned or hit me with their huge openers... without my defensive cool downs up ... I'm a dead
  7. I'd like to know this myself: Before 2.0 and ironically when arsenal sucked for pvp this was a good strat. But now I'm honestly not sure it's worth loosing all that expertise unless you can get your hands on a high end pve set in general. If those are the only pve slots you are going to take I don't know if that 15% on crit damage is going to over come the loss vs players that run with lots of high end pve gear. Conqueror is competitive and (I hope) slightly better than bolstered 72 pve gear but I think that's a very thin margin. So if you remove 120 expertise you might fall below that... someone better at number crunching will have to answer ...
  8. You take a Merc over a sniper for a bunch of reasons. Some teams are hold ground and dig in type of players... Sniper is best for that. Some teams move fluently around... Merc is better for that. Merc also has off heals. I don't think Mercs and snipers are in direct competition because they fill different roles. The better question is do you take a merc over a sorc. I don't have a good answer for that one. I think sorcs are better off healers and sustained dps. But I think Mercs have better burst. I haven't played my sorc in a while so I can't comment on how well they are doing.. when I run into a good one they are hard as hell to kill but I can say they same for good mercs I run into.
  9. cool down and problem solved... 5 - 15 seconds sounds right. I don't think the should loose the ball on a roll.
  10. Yeah this might be another thread topic but I agree with you... however Powertech that are using tank specs are BEASTS in pvp now. They don't do as much damage as the old PT specs but they still hit hard and are very hard to kill.
  11. Well I use electro net every 90 seconds and it is FAR from a free kill. If all the player's cool downs are up... there are no healers near by... the player keeps moving with it on... yeah then it's a free kill.
  12. There is only one adjustment I would make to carnage... that is execute should refresh the cool down of scream. Other than that it's a good solid spec. We will always lag behind Rage damage. I find it amazing that in some warzones where I feel I've dropped 20 targets in a row I'm still 3-4th in damage and kills... loosing to snipers ragers and sorcs most of the time. But when I play rage, I seem to just rack up kill credits and damage without seeming to be killing anyone that often. I think the stats lie a lot in this game.
  13. This.... I have two problems with the roll. It can be chained. None of these other "fast travel" abilities can be chained except the Marauder one that can fired twice but that's on a long cool down. I also have a problem with OPS jumping in the middle of the roll and reaching overhead scaffolding. I don't know if it's lag or a hack but I have chased them from one level to another on my Marauder.
  14. Um "cough" it's called a pvp area. That's why you are automatically flagged! This is like walking into a donut shop and complaining that there are donuts in there... It can't be more clear. Those quests are pvp content. Expect to be attacked...
  15. I have not purchased it yet but I have enough cartel coins to do it... I'm really low on credits so I'll sell it to a guild for 3 mil. If interested message "Choff". Thanks
  16. Serious question... Have you played rated warzones since 2.0 and been totally out classed by your team mates? Do you still feel more of a liability than an assest to the team?
  17. Face palm to you all... This is the most irrelevant conversation to date. Here is the deal. Bioware is a vender they provide products and services for a price. Sometimes their price is zero for some of their items and services... in the hope that you will like the product and buy other parts of it. THE END. If you don't like the services you are getting for the price you are paying, then stop paying the price and move on. If you think Bioware lied and are not providing the services you paid for your choice is to end your relationship with them, or sue them. But good luck proving they breached their contract with you because they haven't. NEWS FLASH... they are trying to make money. And you the customer are not entitled to anything beyond what you have paid for... They have made it very clear what their pricing model is and you have the ultimate choice so exercise it and move on.
  18. If you are red you're dead. Especially on our server where pvp is a choice. There is no need to be in a pvp zone. Don't go there if you don't want to be "killed". Btw you don't die in real life. Same faction pvp happens all the time in WZ... Pvp lakes are just warzones that are not instanced. Even if you cannot get over your "got to have it" mentality there are plenty of opportunities to get in and out of a pvp zone without getting killed and in most cases the game provides alternative ways of getting what you need out side of the pvp areas...
  19. Well I think he meant he plays melee and has only faced Mercs at 55. I really really respect T-Assassin and loved reading his posts. I hate to see him go... But I disagree with him. I think merc arsenal is a viable pvp spec now. I play a marauder and got him to 55 first. I have him almost fully min and maxed and I don't think that class is far better than my Merc now. In 1.7 my marauder was head and shoulders above my merc in terms of playing the role it was intended. Now I feel both classes have situations where they shine brightly and situations where they get smushed easily. In fact I feel most classes have at least one build now that can perform very well in pvp for the most part.
  20. same survivability much better burst. I actually do more overall as pyro but I kill much more efficiently as arsenal.
  21. Well I disagree on the OP part that's why I put it in quotes... Yes if you chase a Merc now with all cool downs up you will have a very difficult time. Before you could shut them down instantly and kill them with very little effort. But a merc can now defend against 1 attacker but once they burn Electro net or HO ( that glowing gear icon at their feet) they are pretty vulnerable. Attack them make them blow cool downs use your defense cool downs to survive... then stealth and then come back and kick their butts. I kill everyone on my Merc that tries to chase me. If I get away and you chase you are dead... if you bail and come back I'm pretty exposed. Plus doesn't the cc breaker drop the EN also? I thought I popped it and got out of a net last night. So I wouldn't attack a merc unless that's on cool down at least. If I'm wrong just stand still and eat the damage bail and come back.
  22. I love when people that don't normally pvp come into pvp and whine when they don't win. Us "sad folk" that only pvp are not there to hold hands and brush your hair for you. Pvp warzones are our end game. We enjoy it and we spend countless hours playing, learning every move and counter move, and min-maxing every socket of gear. You don't want to loose don't queue. It's just like a pick-up game at the basketball court you never know who you're going to get... win some loose a lot that's the nature of the beast... You would be best servered doing some dailies.
  23. Electro net is working as intended. I play both classes extensively. People are just waking up to the fact that Mercs are no longer an easy kill. Electro net has an extremely long cool down that justifies it's "OP". Chasing a Merc is unwise 1v1 they have to tools now to keep you at range.
  24. Basically you need to be ready for it and do what others have said. I don't use my electo net at all when burning targets... I save it for classes that turn on me. I don't use it in my general dps rotation. So like the other tips... your first order of business is to escape the OP then if you can get away and heal hit him with the net and open up on them while kiting...
  25. So I've been posting how my carnage Marauder is seriously under performing and got advice to switch all mods and enhancements over to power/surge power/accuracy. That seemed to do the trick. I seem to doing fine now and getting slightly better with every piece I swap out. When I started I had the stock weapon master set. I had something like 550 bonus damage and 98.somthing accuracy in melee and 103 accuracy in force. 70 surge and 20 something crit. I was parsing just over 1600 on the warzone dummy. Now I'm at 627(650 with stim) bonus damage 100.95 accuracy in melee 110 accuracy in force. 64 surge and 14 crit. and parsing in the upper 1700s dps on the warzone dummy. But this is the strange thing: my performance in warzones seemed to jump when I put the last armor piece in that pushed me from 98 accuracy to 100 in melee and 103 to 110 in force. This happened in one swap because it was an implant I swapped. I swapped the one with alacrity to power/accuracy. And I think I also swapped one power surge enhancement for a power accuracy at the same time.. I seemed to go from struggling to make 200k damage per round to averaging over 400k and coming in at or near the top every match. With every power item I swap out I seem to do a little better but nothing like that huge jump when I made that accuracy adjustment. Does 2% accuracy make that much of a difference? I thought 98-100 was close enough.
