  1. You do know its critical dmg bonus not a flat 30% dmg bonus to the skills?
  2. Its so sad how rare crits on shoot first / hidden strike is now a days :< Also the sniper root you can dispell.
  3. When he loads up ambush just use Dodge right before it fires since most of their high dmg is white your gonna evade it. And remember that Triage can remove their , dots , roots ( both the knockback and their singletarget one ).
  4. Scoundrel Operative DPS spec in pve is by faar the most complex thing to play Maurader / Sentinel is way overrated.

Just a simple thing as not having to worry about my energy as sentinel is enough for me to say its alot easier to play than my scoundrel scrapper and besides that there is ofc upperhand , positional styles , pugnancy , need an actual target for my flashbang unlike awe. Before i played mine i was actually in the belief it was harder but meh, then again the classes are really different so i wouldnt compare the 2 at all since both should fill their own uniqe role.

Got Full BM gear and 1 war hero and we can still pwn undergeared players, the *energy consumption as you say yourself is Horrendous which is a pain to deal with and if your unlucky with crits you wont even make a dent in your targert while most of your energy is gone. The lower cost on suckerpunch doesnt help at all since it still needs upperhand and with reduced dmg it hits for less than say rocket punch on bounty hunters although you can hit for about the same if you get flying fist proc. So no its not just a gear problem the problems scoundrels suffer isnt gonna go away but you can do really well in rounds against undergeared. *The energy problems is annoying like crazy and if you do pve in ops your gonna know just how gamebreaking it is , any tiny mistake and you end up spamming flurry ALOT while trying to keep pwr just for backblast + flechette, dot and then flurry spam.

I dont understand this, how can 1.2 Technically give a slight increase to dps and better rotation, its still less uptime on acid blade, powermanagement is worse , energy cost on back stab + acidblade is 20 giving it higher risk of breaking the 60+ energy barrier. And lets be real here a class that have to maintain energy at 60+ AND 1 TA on yourself AND keep dot(s) running on a boss AND Stim boost, , and to sum it all up its a melee class that have to avoid aoe's know when to get out get back in with no gap closer. Yet doing all this the class is behind in dps have no way to lower dmg taken beside evade, no way to quickly get back on target and 0 group buffs, but hey if BW say the class is working just fine, well i want what their smoking.

To be fair Gunslinger / sniper do have some awesome cc and some of it with 30m range like flashbang , singletarget root, and at close range you get aoe knockback with root ( that doesnt even need talent ) , knockback on ambush if specced for it. And a complete cc immunity shield that last 20sec with a 1min cd. So i wouldnt exactly call it lucky.

Alot of people seem to think that when they get jumped by a scoundrel / operative they sometime loose sometimes win then that makes them balanced and forget they have group tools like taunt , aoe taunt , stances , knockback , forcespeed , pulll , heavy armor , defensive cd's , group buffs... ofc not on one class alone but they all got something to benefit the group while operative scoundrel is left with a crappy heal that is mostly usefull for "after the fight is over situations" and still if it wasnt for medals i would just use normal rest.
  12. Ultimate premade 8 man goal to lower the hp of all enemies and time their death with the respawn door , actually sounds alot more hardcore than pug farming as it currently is. Also i hate voidstar so much because of this, would be abit more interesting if it worked abit similar to coast.
  13. Atleast BW have tried to fix the faction imbalance OHH wait they made it worse just ignore this. But seriously i agree. But to be honest they cant fix this with anything but dropping the whole imp vs reps completely they have had so much time to help the under populated faction but made no attempts to do this no ekstra valor no ekstra commendations nothing.

    Part of fun is to win if your against overgeared then there is no chance to win and currently its just pug farm for premades who wants their crutch i mean war hero gear.
  15. Knockdown duration is shorter, as in standup animation is now faster Pugnancy ( stim boost ) doesnt seem to work with the regen talent, still shows 3 after investing the talent points.
  16. Think you forgot to mention taunt / aoe taunt is off gcd, And yes it is a problem, the amount of dps operative / scoundrels on my current server is at an all time low. Here is the current group (fotm) setup that happens most of the time now. 1-2 healers mostly sorc hybrids tanks: Juggernauts and ALOT of tank assasins dps: powertechs , mauraders , smash jugger , and 1 dps assasin that i know off. You rarely see snipers and pretty much never see dps operative anymore. Now while you might win against a group of juggernauts mauraders tanksins in one map then go against the same group in huttball its a complete disaster, huttball favours certain classes alot. Atleast back in the day when operative scoundrel had huge burst they could actually be used for stuff in huttball. If your playing ranked or normal would you rather have A.) A dps who can taunt / aoe taunt on the go without having to stop doing dmg. B.) Dps that have to stop for 2-2.5sec to get a heal off that heals for 2-4k health. Bioware when they took away the huge burst forgot to keep the class viable and its in a sad state currently, no real use in ops and lacking in pvp unless you jump undergeared.
  17. If a scoundrel / operative are still able to kill people in 1on1 then clearly the class must be broken, can we get GZ to adjust this so it can get to where its "working as intended" .

I agree Agents / smuggler or more specific operatives / scoundrels need more nerfs, i mean even a mouseclicker who fights one and runs out of batteries using 30-60sec to replace batteries needs to have a chance to fight back and win. For pve its completely out of hand atm, i daily see people asking for dps scoundrels to their ops, since its both easier and faster to clear and because of our defensive cd's its so much easier on the healers. Just today i had to say no to 30, YES 30 people asking me to join their ops, but i had to let em down cause of the lockout timer, but i try to make most of em happy and help em clear the content when its possible but its almost to easy if you ask me. So i for one say nerf the heck out of em and bring em more in line with sentinel / mauraders cause no one should be this powerfull atm.
  19. Well "THE EASY WAY" have been going on for several patches now. Biochem being linked to chat when you tried to split stacks FIX = Disable linking em completely from inventory. TWI'LEK Hats = Disable hats completely (wth bw? we already had option to turn em off) Ilum ornaments. Scoundrel Operative talents swapped abit around to make it look new but nothing really changed and is overall a nerf. Could probely list alot of things but the thing is, alot of the stuff they change make no sense whatsoever, and the feedback people give on pts seems rather pointless. Also agree on the whole "they put no effort in balancing factions", the amount of time it took to fix things like civil war faster tick. Yet the reps getting out of spawn in voidstar was fixed quickly for some reason. Snipers can still chain cast time skills followed up by probe for crazy burst yet gunslinger not so much. But 100%+ xp isnt gonna help anything except maybe get their chapter 2 buffs for their mains. BW have to admit they cant solve this and just mix teams before its too late.

    1. Your an assasin you have taunts for easy medals , or easier if your fotm spec. 2. Imps having higher population = more people are geared = higher chance of teams with good gear = higher win chance. <- maybe thats why your happy but who knows right? Now if you take a high population with better gear vs a lower population thats lesser geared, then stir it up with 1.2 rewards for loosing, you now have a lower population who stays undergeared for a long long time = people quit and it ends up imp vs imp. What i would like to see Drop the whole imp vs rep, and just mix the teams it currently doesnt work and bioware can not save the faction imbalance. Or give a huge bonus to valor , commendation , xp , credits to under populated side. Not sure if this would work so great since you can roll characters on both sides. And even as rep fighting 8vs4 it isnt fun its too easy wins and something they could have looked at ages ago, and with the old system it was still possible to catch up or atleast on my server since we have an ok win ratio but as alot of the great pvp'ers stop playing it just turns into imp farm with little to no resistance. Lets take a huttball game, that ends with 5-5, and one side holds ball with carrier down to 5% hp as timer runs out. See that would be an awesome game and super fun and both sides should get pretty much same rewards for it.

    Just out of curiosity whats the highest value some of you bm+ geared have seen on master strike / ravage? My senti is still poorly geared but a value of 5488 still seems really high.
  22. Werent they outphasing ilum because of faction imbalance and then make something that favors faction imbalance. Faction imbalance , Tjeck! Better Geared faction , Tjeck! Make new ways for high population faction to gear up , Tjeck! Make new way for low population faction to stay undergeared , Double Tjeck!
  23. Any class with taunt should use it in pvp, it is probely one of the most underrated skills in the game, easy medals and! its off gcd. It also seems a certain person dont know how dodge works as its been pointed out many times it only evades white dmg attack, except those that bypass dodge. Tech immunity resists all Force / tech <- ALL, its complete immunity to main attacks from most classes and all dots all stuns.
  24. Worries me alot that scoundrel / ops dps is pretty much lower than other classes but also requires alot of maintenance. Pwr regen buff dot uptime TA / UH, to keep 1 on you at all time. Pwr at acceptable lvl for best regen. Armor penetration uptime although its not so annoying to do. And ofc positional requirement on both main attacks and biggest hitter is limited to stealth. At some point you should think that a player who is able to master all these things perfectly would be ahead of other classes, but it just doesnt feel that way. If i jump on my sentinel everything just keeps going and going not having to worry about anything and you even have nice defensive cd's to help take pressure off healers and buffs to turn up dmg heal on entire raid. This is focused on PVE / OPS as its were i feel dps operative / scoundrel is lacking ALOT, and after the first big nerf the class havent recovered.
  25. There is no way this is working as intended, otherwise we wouldnt have the combat rezz debuff. That said with the amount of bugs that keeps on going like multihit balls of death, missing platforms etc, we are indeed encourages to take any advantage available. Time it takes for fixes to get into the game just to see that the stuff havent been tested and new bugs happend like the random aggro problem that happend with soa. Could also mention how utter stupid it is to share combat rezz timer, its like hey lets make a combat rezz curse that makes all classes with combat ress unable to use it for 5min. Lets think about it, a lvl 50 ability with a 5min timer that is rarely used, useless in pvp, shared with an entire ops. You tell me that isnt horrible horrible design and also makes it the worst ability in the game.
