The game was advertised as a 'fully voiced mmo', and if this only remains true for the 1-50 experience and then voice over takes a back seat (which we're begining to see already) then they aren't delivering what they set out to do.

I want to make sure I am not doing it on accident.
You can target your ground-reticule AoE Force Storm/Quake ontop of the force field, above the deactivation console to interrupt people from pressing it from the other side.
With 3 people doing it on each console you would never be able to drop the force field.
Can be done with any ground-targetted AoE though, it's just that Storm/Quake can be spammed.

Really didn't like the Smuggler story at all. I really dislike all the companions (bar Corso ((shock horror)) and Guss). It really felt to me that all the responses didn't even fit in with what was going on. Like they just pulled stock responses at random.
As many agree, the agent storyline is vastly superior...it really grabs you from the start.
People say it's boring, but I did enjoy the Consular storyline, and found it was far more enjoyable than the smuggler.

I really don't know why people don't use it more. I use it all the time regardless of whether i'm specced for healing. Cleansing a crushing darkness and affliction/Force Slow/Juggernaut AoE slow.
The only thing I miss when respeccing to balance is being able to cleanse the dots and physical slow from marauders
but I have many ways to kite and get away. -

People said this about people saying the game will be going F2P.
Eventually, I think it's pretty likely that the cash shop will go beyond just 'cosmetic fluff'... they always do.

Many games have started with "Cosmetic and Convenience" options.
None which started that way have stayed that way.
This is unlikely to be the first.
My previous MMO was Aion. Their cash shop started out with costumes and such. But one day '100% chance to add enhancements to gear' (akin to adding augments in this game...except it was complete RNG if you'd succeed and enhancements cost a fortune) popped up on the cash shop. About a week later the F2P announcement came.

So true. Anyone that believes content is going to pushed out faster is delusional. Where are our content updates that were supposed to be coming every month since 1.2?
Any new content is just going to be half-assed. "A fully-voiced MMO"... well, until you reach level 50 that is.

I've begun playing my sage again which I hadn't played since pre-1.2 so it still had full Champion gear. I picked up the recruit set, mixing and matching between Force-master/mystic to improve my stats as much as possible whilst using 2 pieces of my champion gear for the set bonus.
In this gear I was still doing respectable damage (I always play a healer, but I thought at this gear-level it wasn't wise...) and was able to kill and survive against people with 19k+ hp. Of course I died a few times but only a little more than usual than my full WH Scoundrel, and much less than I expected.
2 days later my Sage is now in full Battlemaster and I can hold my own perfectly well.
Buy medpacks, use warzone adrenals as much as possible, use an exotech endurance stim and you can even augment your BM pieces (though I find this to be a waste)

What server are you guys playing on? I'm on Tomb of Freedon Nadd, played about 150 flashpoints up to now. And when someone was not spacebarring usual dialog was like:
- space!!
- this is my first time!
- ah, ok

It happens with a lot of the Travel To: quests. I've seen in recent patch notes that they've begun to fix these to work with Fleet passes etc.
I had this last night when I was playing a 50 I hadn't played since 1.2. I bought the Priority Transport: Black Hole and the quest told me to Travel to Black Hole. It didn't update, forcing me to have to go through Corellia (painful loading time)
Luckily I didn't need to accomplish that step in order to pick up the dailies.. so next time i'll just have to load into Corellia to get there to complete that quest.
