not quite how it would work. It probably work like this
100% player dmage x 0.7 (due to taunt) x 5= 35
100 dmg is reduced to 70 and 35 dmg is received ; resulting in a 65% dmg reduce not 80. its probably even less than that if you add armor dmg reduction etc.

you spent more than 5 hours EVERYDAY playing this game since it has been out.

you dont say? I play a 50 guardian and ya ranged can be annoying on this map( i was thrown into the pit and each time i tried get back up i was knowback again and again) but thats just how it is; in voidstar and aldearan they have it more difficult so it balance out i think.
i think that they did it on purpose to make not make the gear too good.With champion set I took out extra crit/surge from all duplicate and made my full set.
BS imp does not control on Death Wind Corridor even though they outnumber us by alot; we do our daily/weekly on illum just fine and warzone is the same.
20days so 480 hours; it take about 150-200 hours if you dont skip dialogue. so in fact you played for at least 8 hours a day for 20 day and you say you have commitments.. ya sure
lol im in full champion (640 expertise) and on my focus guardian with TANK surge x 2 implant and surge geared champ gear using duplicate and my crit is around 4k most time and about 3800 on high armor player with similar gear.
in order to do i need the 100% dmg debuff which is on a 50ish CD and need to be channeled or use my other 18second skill for 4second.Aside from the big sweep; guardian dps dont do much its not as spammable as other class high dmg ability.
