  1. Is the Legacy Rocket Boost usable in PVP? I sincerly hope not, because if it is that would extremely unbalance warzones between stinking rich people and people with a more moderate amount of credits. Rocket boost unlock alone costs 2 million credits and then some millions more to lower the cooldown. If the rocket boost will be usable in PVP everyone NEEDS to buy them and NEEDS to buy all the way up to the lowest cooldown to be competitive. So I really hope they won't be usable in warzones.
  2. EVERY TANK CAN STALL LONG ENOUGH FOR REINFORCEMENTS TO ARRIVE. It's the nature of a tank spec.
  3. Do Belsavis + Ilum dailies. Get 100k or more per day, plus epic mods/enhancements, weapons for your companions, and/or random level 50 orange/purple items.
  4. You can already send items through the GTN in nar shaddaa and in 1.2 you will be able to send mails from imp to pub and back.
  5. They ALREADY NERFED HYBRID ASSASSIN SPECS by making key talents only usable in the defined tree charge/stance. No further nerfing needed.
  6. Short answer: no. Long answer: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
  7. It's useless to argue with these people. They believe it's a hybrid because it's a tank spec that uses DPS equip in pvp. Bioware doesn't call that a Hybrid but even that won't convice these people.
  8. Which would both break the spec for soloplay and flashpoints/operations. People who have no clue about balance shouldn't try to balance classes.
  9. BW already showed us what they intended for Assasins. For each spec to play it it's own charge instead of using dark charge all the time. The already nerfed the "hybrid" specs.
  10. Assassins are force starved all the frakking time. Not a single class (besides Sorcs/Sages before 1.2) has unlimited resources in this game.
  11. Why are the acceptable? Because you say so? Wh is there a wrong and a right way to play a tank spec, but everything is fine for healers? Hypocracy.
  12. So... remove damage dealing capabilities from healing specced classes?

    Is it always

Maybe it's because YOUR OBSERVATION is biased? Ties in voidstar are decided by a coin toss, it's 50/50 until 1.2.
  14. Asssassins are already the squishiest tanks, they NEED the selfhealing.
  15. Madness is pretty much on par with Darkness when it comes to damage potention, survivability and utility. Though I give you that madness is harder to play and master.
  16. Well you wanted to use the "real" definition of the word instead of the one Bioware uses. There was exactly the same discussion going on in WoW for ages. People said only classes that could tank-heal-dps were true hybrids. Other said classes that could tank-dps and classes that could heal-dps were also hybrids. The debate went on and on and on until official Bioware devs said "everyone that can do more than one thing is hybrid". Bioware said everything that isn't using the 31 point talent of it's main tree is a hybrid, therefore this is the definition we should use. Otherwise we have to use the dictionary definition which would be insane.
  17. Hybrid is defined as "an offspring resulting from cross-breeding" - your point being?
  18. Neither did you, but this is Bioware's game, so we have to use the definition they use, or we cannot use the word at all, simple as that.
  19. Operatives AND Assassins were nerfed hard with 1.1. Since then there was no public outcry over Operative Burst, bust still they are getting another nerf. People whine over Assassins but they are getting no change. Bioware said they don't nerf because of forum whines but because of their own data (which the Operative nerf backs up). So the conclusion is - from Bioware's data - Assassins are fine.
  20. It has full 31 points in the tank tree therefore it is not (by the definition Bioware uses) a hybrid. Punctum.
  21. Stop calling it a gorram Hybrid. If it has 31 points in darkness it's not a hybrid.
  22. I can do exactly the same numbers on my Powertech tank as I do on my Assassin, your point being? Anyway can people let this topic rest? Bioware ALREADY NERFED ASSASSINS HARD with 1.1. The 1.2 patchnotes clearly show that they think Assassins are now fine, as opposed to Operatives who got a nerf in 1.1 and another one now. Bioware says they are fine (as do lots of players that aren't bad button-spammers), so deal with it.
