Hey all, I'm currently lvl 25 and want to know what you guys think about both specs for pvp as I have tried both as well. I read the codex at the top, and that makes sense but doesn't help that much. From what I have found: - Deception: Phenomenal burst damage and can handle pretty much anybody 1 v 1. Group fighting, not so great. AOE's absolutely destroy you and if somebody starts taking you out from range, there is little to do as you are very squishy. Good for running out and picking off solo people. - Darkness: Guard is great, at times. I roll with a bounty hunter, throw it on him and hide. When he gets attacked I also throw mind control on enemy and we take him out together. HOWEVER, if the person I'm guarding and I both get AOE'd... I drop in seconds. Survivability doesn't seem to be that great for a tank class when you are targeted, and the damage output isn't great. 1v1's I get eaten alive because of lack of dps. For a tank class, the class seems to rely on other people being attacked for pvp. I know there are things I probably am not doing right, and am not the best pvp'er... but those are my thoughts so far. Let me know what you all think about each spec. Has anybody else tried both and has different opinions? I'm still trying to decide and I'm sure it can help others as well. Thanks!
