Get exploits fixed fast? Tell that other guild about it, you know, the one that's always beating you in conquests, the one with 500 unique members. Once they all start exploiting, BW will notice it, fix the exploit, and ban the whole guild. 2 birds, one stone.

AFAIK, the parsers just read and process the combat logs that the game (optionally) spits out. It doesn't add anything to the game, like inputs, overlays, etc.

So, when the drop rate for unstable arbiter sabers was apparently increased in the last pack, was it a) because people stopped buying the packs, b) because of feedback from people who bought the packs, c) something that BW had planned all along, d) "Aliens"? Time to go back to DK and scavenge some metals for more aluminum foil hats!

Sometimes someone just wants to play alone. *shrugs* What class are you playing? There is a difference what can be (easily) solo'd with a stealther vs semi-stealthy (mara camo) vs brute force (seriously, I can hear a BH's explosions from half a zone away).

That sounds like you should try a jugg/whatever the Rep class is called, Knight? Good damage and survivability. If you don't mind being a little more fragile, you can also try marauder/sentinel. It's got double the lightsabers! Double XP going on right now, I believe, so perfect time to level one quickly.

Give conquest points for PvE space missions. And don't tell me they are too easy to get points, if heroics can net you 1,500 + whatever your SH bonus is. #PvEspacemissionsmatter

I remember when my operative was cunning, my bounty hunter had good aim, my assassin's willpower got him through hard times, and my marauder's strength crushed her enemies. I remember getting my face ripped off by padawan Yadira Ban, when we tried BT HM for the first time. I remember taking dozens of screen shots, when I gave some guy the mats to craft my a ... (what was that special crystal back when 50 was max level? schematic dropped off of a few WBs), in case he would cheat me. But he didn't. I remember feeling proud for soloing the BH heroic daily.

Tru dat! Even back in the day, when the 2 million creds for the unlock plus whatever you pay for the CD reduction was actually a lot of money. OT - yea, I'd also appreciate a shortcut for companion roles.

The companion gift should work like decorations. You click it, you get a quick sound effect, short GFX animation and a floaty text, and if you click fast enough it gets kinda cute. It'd be better to be able to use whole stacks all at once. BW managed to find a solution for RE'ing, too. Just use the same design!

BW didn't have to do a retune of content for the first time and BW isn't the first company to have to do a content retune, so, by now, how they could have not put the tools for a retune, or at the very least the design hooks, in place would a mystery. If they plan to keep the game going, but not freeze gear levels like GW2 did, then having tools to retune content at the drop of a hat is a huge time saver in the long run.

I said "long heroics become short again". If you don't see how stealth helps here... Maybe run some of the longer heroics with stealth and non-stealth characters. I haven't been to Hoth in years on a Rep toon, so can't give you a good example off the top of my head. If you want some challenge go into Section X, Aurora Cannon H4 and the Seeker Droid final mission H4 trash mobs and "hallway boss" with 208-ish gear and a mid-range companion. With a stealth character you can finish AC H4 in 2 minutes without a fight. What are you farming? If it's Section X rep then doing the H4 completes the weekly for a nice rep boost. Farming rare armor? Seeker droid unlocks 2 sets you can't get any other way. Farming mats? Half the time you can stealth past a mob near a node, mez one of the guys and harvest the node without any fuss. With stealth, you can bee line to the next node on Zakuul, without you'll be fighting a mob or two on the way and then the one guarding the node. Achievements might be different as a lot of them explicitly require kills.

If you go with a DPS class definitely pick one with superior AoE. I disagree with the DPS > stealth comment though. Mowing down a mob still takes longer than just running past it, and usually for minimal gain. You are worried about some heroics taking too long? With stealth, half of those long heroics become short again, because you don't need to fight a mob every 10 meters. And there are still a few H4 heroics that are hard to solo with a companion if you have to fight your way through, while a stealther just runs past everything.

Here is a solution to keep your legacy name hidden. This design would still allow sorting by legacy and indicate which chars are in the same legacy, so if that's the real issue for you, rather than hiding the legacy name, it won't do anything for you. A way to have your cake (hide legacy names) and eat it (allow sorting by legacies) would be to hide the legacy name string in the column, but still use it to sort the guild list, and just display a color bar as an indication which characters are part of the same legacy.

BW, if you do this, while you are at it, can we get a way to DISABLE reflectivity / shininess on some armor pieces? I have some CM pieces I like the look of, but the armor looks shiny, like it's latex, where I'd prefer a look of cloth or leather.

Yea, I just checked, it's still at 90cc right now. The post about the 1k cost didn't mention that it was a future price, or from an announcement by BW that they will raise the price to that level. The argument that the 90cc price has always been just temporary and was always meant to go up probably doesn't hold water with all the people who joined the game AFTER that fact was mentioned last. There is nothing on the transfer page to indicate that 90cc is just temporary either. This information of a useful service going up 11-fold in price should really be in a email to the account.

Seriously, 1,000cc?? I mean, yea they had to do something because people were abusing this for name changes, but bumping the price up by 1,100% without any warning? That's disappointing to say the least.

Can be done solo. I used my deception assassin in 208/216 crystal gear with a level 30 Lana. Having a char with a speed boost helps a lot in the corridor. If mobs get into the corridor, don't get hit while carrying a battery. Use your comp to distract them if that happens. Once you get the turrets going, you have won. I almost managed to keep all shields up while charging the turret until the end. I think a shield broke when I was getting the last battery. The insectoid boss - what's his face? - is a huge pain! He has a life siphon channel that also stuns you. If he gets to channel this completely he gains about 25% life, which is what you can burn off of him after a barrel blast. It helps (read: it is required) if you have a skill or spec that gives you another stun break, or stun immunity, as your stun break CD will be too long. If he gets off a siphon or two you can still recover, but after that you will run out of barrels and you're better off resetting the fight by leaving the room. During the fight the boss quickly gains a stacking armor buff that you need to break by getting the boss to drop onto and blow up the barrels scattered around the room. To get the barrels to blow up, free them from the overgrown tentacles first. When the boss is about to drop down, you will see drops falling around your character or your comp. Jump onto a barrel and stand over the rounded end, not in the center of the barrel!! The impact point of the boss is very small, standing in the center will not trigger the blow up. If the boss drops on your companion, set comp to passive to call them back to you and pray they somehow end up standing in the right spot when the boss drops. The last boss is a cake walk.

Don't complain about the Voss rep grind these days. With the weekly, you get 6 purple rep items, which give me a little over 1,500 points each. Doing the dailies twice with the weekly on top, gets you max rep for the week. Not that I would complain about deco drops.

The one thing they could improve is an indication whether you have left or entered the area where the part could be found. Something similar you get from your seeker droid. That being said, I managed to get all parts looking for them solo, so grouping is by no means required. Pro tip: if you have alts and you want to save the million credits, move one or two alts into the area once you get a ping "part found within X meters". Once you find the part, you can easily grab it on a 2nd character, maybe even a 3rd if your load times are low.

Not completely disagreeing with the post, just the story comment. Lots of FPs are stand-alone with no clear connection to the story. Mando Raiders, D7, Hammer Station, Athiss, to name a few. Make something that's decoupled from KotFE or the going-ons in the galaxy.
